Such a charming hotel. We stayed in one of the airstreams and slept so well. It’s amazing that they are equipped with a king size bed. A quiet property, great for a good nights sleep. I love Joshua Tree coffee and was excited to see they offered that along with delicious crepes as the breakfast option. The coffee was already brewed at breakfast and they offer pour over as well. They had pétanque and other little extras for guests. A unique property and experience, one could say it has a certain je ne sais quoi.

It's not right in the middle of downtown, and the parking can be a little daunting. However, the property is super cute and charming, and the staff are friendly. Considering the other lodging options in the area, this hotel is a very good value and I wouldn't be surprised if we stay there again in the future.

This is worth a stay. Totally charming with a large dose of quirkiness. There was a surprise around every corner. I stayed in the Bambi trailer and it is totally unique - great bed and bedding, good kitchen amenities, table with padded bench seating, and a tiny (but functional) bathroom. There is also a delightful outdoor area with bistro seating and flamingos. I must mention that the cafe area with indoor and outdoor seating was a lovely place for my breakfast of crepes and coffee. Although entire place was a bit rickety, and undergoing some restoration construction, it was entirely enjoyable and I would stay there again.

One of the most charming botiqure hotel in which I've stayed. A surprise at every turn. From covered off street parking, bright cheerful rooms. friendly and helpful staff, quiet and close to downtown, to many special touches: very nice linens and exceptionally made bed, handwritten personal notes, vintage art and furniture, a welcoming cafe to greet you in the morning. Don't miss this one. This is a hotel dedicated to your pleasure.

I was here for work, and the Metro was a convenient short walk to the office, as well as to local dining options. Downtown center was nearby, but I didn't have time to explore. Nice parks nearby too. I particularly liked the outdoor sitting areas for each room, and for group gatherings.

Such a charming establishment! However, hair everywhere in our room, even after requesting a clean and when we returned a couple hours later we found our room unlocked. Just wished customer comfort and security was not overlooked during our stay...and based on reviews I hope this was just an off day. Also, must like firmer beds.

I love love love the Metro hotel This was the first time I stayed in one of the air strings, and I have to say, as fun as it initially was an excited I was to stay there, when we got back the smell from the toilet/plumbing was so bad I could barely sleep. And we couldn’t open the window so we had to sleep with the door open, which felt a little odd. But I would definitely go back. I just wouldn’t stay in one of the air streams.

This place is a true gem! Everything is very quaint. The rooms are very originally decorated and super clean. The quality price for this place is unbeatable. It is the contrary of a boring chaine hotel. Lots of little details there are charming and well thought. The use of their little kitchen area is very convenient too. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!

Super cute property and concept. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and coffee area was like being in France! Only issue was the larger airstream seemed a little run down? Musty smell inside and we couldn't open windows for air and the door didn't close for some reason... needs a little love, otherwise comfy!

Unusual, quirky, cluttered with holiday decorations and slightly overbearing signs in unironic comic sans. Lovely room with a passable mattress & unusually positioned tv on a side wall; bathroom had ants that streamed out after it rained. The breakfast is crepes and a few toppings, plus French roast coffee (which doesn’t agree with me), so I would have foregone paying for that in retrospect.

It’s a very cute place and the staff are super nice and helpful, but the camper is very cramped. There’s a large TV wedged on top of the fridge making the space even smaller. It’s heated by a space heater, and gets a little cold at night, especially in the bathroom, which is tiny and has no mirror.

Absolutely loved the vibe here. Adorable room, comfortable bed, and great pillows. Loved the French radio in the cafe area in the morning, and the ability to store food in their fridge. Close to downtown, and a phenomenal value for money.

The Metro is adorable and quirky, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect for walking to downtown. However, the room was incredibly small, the bed was so squeaky it woke us up when we moved, and the shower had issues and you can hear everything your neighbors say or do. I really wanted to love it but it was not a very confortable stay.

Very unique, lovingly and thoughtfully restored old building. Sound insulation not good but customers are nice and quiet. Office is closed 11am to 3 pm. Wish they can figure out a way of checking in on line and depositing luggage inside before 3 pm.

Loved this hotel. So very unique and kitschy. Not for everyone, but definitely for those who don’t like the sterile corporate hotel feel. I will say when checking out, the gentlemen asked if we had breakfast any of the days. I said yes, but informed him that it was included in our Expedia rate. He said very bluntly “No, it’s not” and was going to try to charge me. My rate and email confirmation clearly states breakfast included. I replied “the lady who checked us in said she would honor it, since it was a mistake with Expedia.” Then he changed his tone and said I guess he will honor it then. But that was a bit rude — maybe get your facts straight first.

I enjoyed my stay & the staff was very welcoming. They accommodated my after hours arrival as the night manager was very friendly. He met me in the lobby & assisted me to my room. They also granted me an extra 30 min after check out which I appreciated. If in the area again I will definitely stay here. I can't recall the night managers name but he went above & beyond providing exceptional service. Thank you again

Cute hotel with a good proximity to restaurants. Well decorated and offers very tasty coffee. We had a problem with the AC but the staff addressed it quickly and even came back to check if it was working after it was fixed. We really appreciated that.

I have stayed at The Metro previously. But not since before the pandemic. It is just a quaint, nuanced hotel. Very unique. The staff is lovely and the location is just a few blocks from downtown, which makes getting around very easy.
