Clean, nicely appointed rooms, friendly staff, quiet area, easy parking and for a good price. Good amenities like on site bar and clean gym with a variety of options.

Great design, great breakfast, clean and comfortable. Wish it had a pool and was closer to downtown.

This Hampton Inn is usually pricy at $200 a night on most weekends, but a recent Sunday night set me back a more reasonable $150. I'm usually at the Best Western for $120 or less :) PROs: -Reasonable weekday pricing -Friendly staff -Spacious, clean, modern rooms and bathrooms -Free Parking -Quiet location -Short drive/Cheap Uber & Lyft into downtown -Decent breakfast included, with eggs and bacon CONs: -Expensive on weekends! -No pool or jacuzzi -Nothing worthwhile in walking distance. I'd likely stay here again for the right price.

Beautiful old building turned into a hotel. I love what they did with the building. Dining room and happy hour bar first rate. Big and roomy. Breakfast buffet was delicious.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming. The gym was satisfactory. The breakfast was limited. The nearby area had very few food options. I thought it was about $30 overpriced.

Historic property nicely renovated with comfortable, clean rooms. Free breakfast, pantry and evening bar with Happy Hour. Petaluma is a beautiful city with historic downtown and the Hampton Inn is a great place to explore Sonoma County...we have been there several times!

This was an overnight stay while visiting family, so we didn't utilize services, except the gym this morning before check-out. It was definitely a cut above most hotel exercise rooms. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The facility is great. It was an old twin factory renovated to a modern-day hotel. The exterior looks the same and they kept the original brick walls inside and out. Very quiet and close to downtown Petaluma. Rooms are moderate size, not cramped, and in great shape. Black-out curtains meant no extraneous light interfering with sleep. Good value at an affordable price. Would definitely stay here again on next trip over previous options.

Excellent stay. This property is a silk mill transformed to a hotel. They have preserved the historic features of the building and made it as a boutique hotel. Rooms were super clean, staffs are amazing and breakfast was great. Highly recommend!

Killed three bed bugs and got more than 10 bites

We came back to our room which hadn't been cleaned, we were gone all morning. So I went to front desk to tell them we had no coffee, no clean towels, etc, the young lady at the front desk just listened to me and didn't even offer me any coffee or clean towels, she seemed very obtuned and disconnected.

Entrance is in back. Rooms are small, but super clean and updated appliances. Feels brand new - and although they are small rooms, they are just what you need.

Really unique property. The rooms were smaller, but comfortable. Our bed was a bit noisy. Every time we rolled over the frame made noise. That was the only bad part, but overall a great stay.

Overall, great stay staff was super nice and helpful! The room had a nice unique layout was very clean and had really tall ceilings. However, itwas quite humid to the point my clothes were damp. We tried to combat this by having the air conditioning on, but it only did so much. Our blackout blinds were broken so we had to manually pull them down as we were on the first floor, which was difficult because they were really tall windows! We got it sorted ourselves, so we didn’t have to ask for help. I’m sure they would’ve been very helpful if called on! We felt safe in the area and walked to the grocery store at 9 PM without any issues, but I wouldn’t say it’s in a super walkable spot. I’m glad we had her car. Breakfast was delicious!

I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn before and as always it’s a pleasure. This time I was in a room 2nd floor, the lay out was a bit awkward as the television was on the left side of the bed so if you are laying down on your side was ok but if you are sitting up had to have your head turned which would be uncomfortable after a while. If I was staying more than one night I would have requested another room.

The building was beautiful. It use to be an old silk factory. The breakfast was wonderful. Ask for a room away from the street. It was noisy and the walls are pretty thin.

Overall stay was good. Some cleaning issues and room felt very small.

Hotel and room was nice. Provided breakfast was decent. Only 2 issues: the mattress seemed in need of replacing and the room was on the ground floor facing the street which could get noisy.

The room was very comfortable but when the people arrived next door at 1:30am I literally could hear every word they were saying. What happened to soundproofing. I can’t believe that this wouldn’t be a common complaint. Everything else was very nice.

Great location. Cute and clean hotel. Room could have been a bit warmer and I don’t mean temperature wise. The decor is a bit cold. I know the building used to be a factory, but the room felt very industrial. Could have been softened a bit with lighting and comfier furniture. Otherwise, a great stay.

Historic brick silk mills make PERFECT hotels. Such a solid, beautiful old building. The renovation kept the exposed brick walls, and the room art is a map of the city and some photographs of old farm equipment. Small room, but absolutely cozy and quiet. Fabulous bathroom.

We had a bumpy start at this hotel. Check was at 3pm. We arrived early maybe around 2-2:30pm hoping we could check in early, but our room wasn't available. It wasn't until about 3:30pm where we began to worry what was going on not having any communication from the front desk while we were waiting in the dining area. After several check ins at the Front Desk, we finally were approached by the Manager on duty - Aiona Kaufusi. Apparently, there was something wrong with the room we were supposed to occupy so she offered us an upgrade which we decided to take since we were exhausted. I wanted to cancel earlier, but of course we booked/prepaid it thru Expedia and was too tired to deal with the hassle. It would have been better if they had communicated to us the situation sooner or even offered us the upgraded room sooner if it wasn't available at 3pm checkin time, because that's really what we are paying for/expecting. That would be our recommendation if you want to keep your customers happy/wanting to return. Just as you expect us to be out at 11am checkout and no later, we expect our room to be ready upon checkin at 3pm. We honestly feel that despite the circumstance, Aiona handled the situation well. She took care of us. She offered us snacks from the Bar and bottled water which are normally only for special Hilton members. She stepped in and performed as a Manager so for that, we are grateful.

The hotel is housed in a former silk factory. It has a very modern, boutique feel. The staff were all very friendly and helped us come up with things to do on our road trip thru Napa and Sonoma counties. There is a fantastic grocery around the corner that offered superb baked goods and was also a taqueria. Great price for a great place.

Room was clean and spacious, with brick walls and high ceilings. Shower was nice and I liked how the soaps were in dispensers. Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was fresh, and the bartender in the evening was very sweet. There were books in the lobby and lots of tourism brochures. The only downside is that there isn't much in the neighborhood, although I walked to the CVS and the car rental company down the street.

This Petaluma Hampton Inn was a beautiful surprise! I stay at Hampton Inn’s as much as possible, when the rates are reasonable. This particular location is in a repurposed building and I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. Personally, I would’ve enjoyed spending more time in the room, relaxing! The high ceilings and decor all work together; the staff was also really helpful. We were sent a text after check in to open the doors of communication. This came in extra handy after we checked out and realized a pair of (expensive) ear buds were left behind in our room. After a simple text, staff replied back and let us know they were found and would be waiting for us at the front desk. It was a huge relief and made our stay even more refreshing. I look forward to returning!

This may be my #1 hotel location when visiting Petaluma. Close to downtown and next to the 101.

The building is a warehouse type structure with high end modern updates. Our room was very small but adequate for a one night stay. There is nothing close by to walk to, but the hotel has a bar located in the breakfast room. It's a short drive to downtown.

Travellng on business with Kimmy (Jindo, Service Animal). Hotel doggie friendly and people friendly as well. Wonderful architecture and history of facility. Enjoyed all aspects of stay including walking distance to downtown Petaluma and excellent whiskey bar (Mario and John's). Highly recommend with two paws up from Kimmy!!!

This Hampton Inn is located inside a former factory, which explains its quirks. Some displays of machinery from factory days are around. On a map, it looks like downtown Petaluma is an easy stroll, but it's not. You have to walk through some uninviting areas with no lighting at night. Not many dining options within walking distance and the hotel doesn't offer evening dining. It's a nice hotel, but you'll still want to drive into downtown.

I loved the spacious, high ceilings of this property and the history. Parking was easy but it was still quite walkable to downtown. Breakfast was very good, nothing extraordinary. Beds were fabulous, I slept very sound. We did have a running toilet and the wallpaper was peeling a bit in our bathroom from getting wet.

Gorgeous historic yet modern hotel! The location was convenient, the staff was friendly, the rooms were nicely decorated and clean, the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing I would change would be making the mattress slightly more plush and the pillows a little firmer. I didn't ask but maybe there were firmer pillows available. It really wasn't a big deal either way. We loved our stay at Hampton Inn Petaluma and hope to stay there again in the future!!

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Petaluma over a weekend when I was taking a workshop in the area and it provided the perfect one night get away. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious with lots of options. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was ok. It really worth the money in my opinion. Didn’t love the decor. But it was clean/ adequate/ average. Basic breakfast.

We asked if it was possible for a slightly early check in and were not notified at all if a room was ready early. The pillows were very flat and it took a while for them to bring us any. We had to ask for more after we finally got some because they were extremely flat. The bed was very hard. They advised complimentary breakfast but the breakfast station was bare and there was not much available. The serving utensils were also dirty. We ended up having to go find breakfast somewhere else. I will note there was two hours left in the breakfast service and we were not late to breakfast.
