The pool was a great amenity but it would be nice if more towels were provided

My wife and I last stayed at the same hotel 25 years ago! It was great to come back again with family. It was as we remembered it! Location is excellent for an LA visit in my view, especially for Disney, shopping malls and South Cal beaches. The reception staff were all amazingly helpful, welcoming and always cheerful. There is an excellent fitness centre, basketball court and heated pool. Breakfast is complimentary although we never ante in. Rooms were clean, well equipped but looked slightly dated. Housekeeping was erratic. It wasn’t clear when they were coming or what they did. We had towels changed during our visit and rubbish removed but it wasn’t clear if bed sheets were ever changed or the floors vacuumed. However, using Bonvoy App to communicate with reception made life very easy. Laundry room well equipped with 4 washing machines and 4 tumble dryers. But, the floors could have done with regular cleaning especially is it had rained during our stay. The need to use coins is so 20th century and part of the partly dated feel to the property. But, you can easily change cash for coins at reception. Why you have to pay for parking is puzzling and totally unnecessary in my view. Would happily stay here again.

Construction by the property only allows one entrance most day times

The pet area was not available and was not offered any alternative. Some areas the lightning was poor at night due to construction.

We had a good week at this hotel. Pros: good breakfast variety every day, comfortable beds, full kitchen for cooking, kids enjoyed afternoon hot chocolate bar, short cab ride to attractions. Cons: pool was unheated most of the week and dishes & cutlery in our room’s kitchen were sparse. But overall, happy with our choice.

Morning breakfast staff is very rude .5 min before 9am staff starts cleaning . My daughter asked for sausage patty she threw it on my daughters plate. 3 min after 9 am my son asked for more whipped cream she saysno more close. Seriously we understand its from 6am to 9am but at least let the people that was in before 9am finish their breakfast. Also swimming pool needs to be updated with chairs are ripped and the umbrellas are damaged and has a DIY . Bathrooms are dirty and inside needs to be updated. Area not so safe if you have a suspect speeding in the parking complex and a cop chasing him . Marriot makes lots of money to be in the condition it was. Will not be back

The location was good for our Disney vacation. It wasn’t too close or too far from the parks and getting around was pretty easy. Breakfast was an added plus. I liked how they changed the menu each day for the hot foods. The room was musty and had an old smell to it. The bed was very uncomfortable also very old and outdated. It felt like it had a busted spring in it and hadn’t been replaced in a really long time. I also broke out in hives the first night and I’m not sure why. My daughter woke up with bites on her feet. She was in socks and shoes all day every day so that was a little weird. The property is in need of updates. It rained while we were there, and there were leaks in several of the common areas. The laundry facility only took coins. I could charge the laundry soap and dryer sheets to the room, but there was no ATM on site and the front desk could not give me change by charging it to the room so we had to go off premises to get cash. Overall, it was an okay stay but not the best.

I liked the breakfast. I was surprised to find I had to pay $9 a night to park. There was some confusion at check-in. I was told the internet or card reader wasn't working so another $299 charge was put on my credit card even though I had a receipt showing I had paid in full dated 6/22. I think there should have been a trash can for the kitchen area as well as for the bathroom. The mattress was a little too big for the bed platform and I almost rolled out of bed a couple times when the mattress drooped . A door separating the toilet/shower form the mirror and sink would have been nice.

Checked in on 6/5/2023 and checked out on 06/11/2023. During our stay the wifi and TV Internet providers (Netflix,Hulu,Prime) were unavailable, property stated their internet provider's server was down and was out of their control. Provided free parking ($9.00 per night) for this inconvenience. Went to the hotel pool on two different days, water was extremely cold. It seems they do have a pool water heater but only turn it on briefly as we felt the warm water coming from the jets but then turned off. On-site laundry did not wash our clothes properly, dryer left clothes extremely damp. Had to hang clothes all over room and blow dry most items. Property sits next to freeway with a ditch in between. First night there witnessed 2 men and a female stealing copper wire from somewhere in the ditch and load it into their car that was parked next to hotel. On our fourth morning, a homeless man with a full face mask was lying on the property's grass under a tree. Man appeared intoxicated as he was twitching his arms and legs everywhere. Property states rooms are "smoking free" but our room smelled like cigarette throughout our stay. I was highly disappointed with most of my stay at this property, especially since we had our 2 small children.

Our stay was very disappointing from start to finish. We arrived on a Tuesday and were told at check-in that our room wouldn’t be cleaned until Saturday. In the meantime, we had to go to the front desk for fresh towels (which were never brought to us), and no one ever came to collect the dirty ones — they just piled up in the bathroom. When Saturday came, housekeeping said we weren’t on the list to have our room cleaned, even though we had been out of the room daily from 8am–4:30pm. Later that evening, she returned to say we were on the list, but after asking for a few minutes to get dressed, she never came back. There were also maintenance issues: the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, and since we didn’t have fresh towels, we had to use the soaked dirty ones to mop up the water. The toilet is right next to the shower, so we were constantly stepping in water. Maintenance only unclogged the sink and didn’t fix the leak. I requested a blanket mid-week and was told someone would bring it — it never arrived. I ended up buying one from Walmart. On top of all that, the room was very outdated and in need of upgrades. This experience was not reflective of the Marriott brand I’ve trusted for over 20 years. I’ve already switched my upcoming August reservation from Courtyard to the Hyatt. Very disappointing.

Housekeeping in minimal to none. Not like when I sentenced this property a few years ago.

Barrooms had orange mold. Carpet terrible dirty with huge dark spot. Cabinet doors dirty. Bed covers with stains.

It was very difficult to open the door, also electronic key didn’t work one night, they never clean the room, no shampoo nor body soap, 1 bathroom sink was clogged.

There was a cockroach in our room, the bed sheet were dirty, pillowcases were also dirty thank god I had taken some sheets and pillowcases from home. Will never stay there again

I was bitten by bedbugs about 20 times.

The hotel was dirty and smelled bad. I attempted to open the sliding door to let some fresh air in but the door was broken. I was given a new room but that room also smelled bad and was not very clean. I opened the sliding door and there was no screen. Unfortunately I gave up and just spent most of my time outside of the room. I will never stay at one of these establishments again.

Expected much more from a Marriott. Make sure that you read the fine print before booking. Some of the issues we had were not not being able to cancel the reservation even 48 hours in advance, they won’t clean the room unless you stay more than 4 days and the place needs a good deep cleaning. Very disappointing.

Carpets and floors were so dirty the bottom of my feet were black when I walked around the room with my shoes off. Had lots of little flies in the room which took me a few days to kill at least a dozen or more of them. Asked 2 times to vacuum the floor at it never happened. They were “short staffed”

Took a family vacation to Disneyland with our 3 adult daughters & our baby daughter. Family suite had 2 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. Plenty of space of everyone & privacy. Room was clean & staff was helpful. Price was decent & we would definitely book here again

The room had spotty internet and tv connections. The room also had holes in the wall lamps next to the bed. For how much I paid I expected a bit better quality.

We like the convenience of this property to the places we need to go. The breakfast included in the room price is better than most in quality and variety, including gluten free options. Having a kitchenette saves the budget. This time the king bed in our studio was horribly saggy in the middle. The HVAC was unable to be adjusted to comfortable temps. The supposed fast Internet was abizmally slow and prevented an efficient work day. To top it off, they inconscienibly charged $9 daily for parking that was either unavailable or so far from your room it was burdensome. The property is under construction and the upgrades are nice, but there is some construction noise and debris. We were promised a fireplace and paid for one, but we're placed in a unit where it had already been removed. The cleaning service done our fourth day was not thorough; they left us without enough toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher soap and the floor under the bad was not vacuumed well. The staff is nice enough, but don't always follow through on making it right for the customer, especially if you book through a third oarty. It's like you are a second class citizen even though we are Bonvoy members.

Check in was okay, was informed at the desk about a $9 parking fee. Was temporarily locked out of and in the room as the door kept sticking and was difficult to open the door. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Had to change rooms becuase our first room smelled like sewer, batroom floor vinyl was torn and mistery stains on couch.

The room we were in had no counter space in the bathroom. Being an ADA room, it’s important to have that space in the bathroom. This hotel only has two roll-in ADA rooms and one of them is in front of the smoking area! Like, disabled/handicapped people already have issues and they don’t need to be around smoke. Otherwise, the room was fantastic! The staff is rude and disrespectful. Even the manager is rude. Management is not there to take up for their staff, managers are supposed to listen to the customer and help! If you are looking for a good manager who will help when you need help, this is not the right hotel for you. We also didn’t have any television for an entire week. Many people were complaining, however, staff did nothing. Nothing complimentary, or offered! They could have offered a book, or a radio, a bottle of wine…something to say they were sorry about the television situation. They were upset every time I asked them when we would have internet service and television service. The night staff, is completely horrible! The guy with the long hair is horrible and rude. The staff at this hotel act as if they are doing us a favor by doing THEIR JOBS! When in reality, we are doing them the favor because without us they would be out of business and a job!

Great place for a long stay, beds were comfy, room was clean and with everything you need to cook. Sofa bed was also comfy, place was safe and included breakfast

This Marriott property is tucked away off a main Placentia street in an office plaza. But it has all the amenities you expect, and despite being RIGHT next to CA SR-57, the rooms are well-insulated and quiet. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but one does have to wonder why you have to be a Bonvoy Rewards member just to have free wi-fi.

There is a fence at the edge of the property that has been tampered with. There was a homeless woman coming in and out of there and walking in the hotel property. She started yelling horribly for help and and creating unnecessary scene. Apparently according to other guest this issue has been going on for a while. I called the front desk and they are aware. The only reason I’m writing this review is because i think people should know this before they decide to here. The smell in the room was pretty bad. You can smell it on you when after you leave….

I had a truly disappointing experience during check-in. Upon arrival, my room was not ready, and my three children and I were left waiting for over 30 minutes past the scheduled check-in time. While waiting, I noticed a duck in the pool and expressed concern about the potential sanitation issue. I asked if the pool could be cleaned, but the front desk agent dismissed it with a shrug, showing no concern. When I inquired about any accommodations or gestures the hotel could make for the inconvenience, the agent offered points but showed no initiative or empathy. I had to suggest a later check-out myself, which he initially claimed wasn’t possible—only for the manager to come out from the back office and approve it without hesitation. The front desk agent lacked basic customer service skills and empathy, and the entire experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a guest. I expected better. I told him I was celebrating my son's 11th birthday and he did not care at all.

Checkin was at 4, we had called in much before requesting an early checkin. They said it’s not available, that was understandable, when we reached at 5pm (checkin is 4pm) they said no rooms are ready, it’s going to take some more time. We had driven from vegas and it’s not right to wait to checkin at a later time.

We arrived at 8 PM for our check-in, which should’ve been ready at 4 PM. At that point we were told no rooms were ready, and had to wait outside with our family of six for two hours. They mentioned that the people that stayed in the room prior to us had a late check out and didn’t leave until four, and they hadn’t cleaned the room yet.

Upon your arrival if you are unfortunate enough to be welcome by Yuri you will see why I gave this property these ratings. Her lackluster effort to be about the guest amazes me. So dull and once I requested to be have my reservation canceled because of her horrible service she gladly and without question canceled the remainder of my stay here. Avoid this hotel at all costs. There are other nearby offers that give better service. The staff here open your room door when you don't answer. I was in the shower when they freely walked in. Their answer was "oh you can just call the front desk". That answer was from an employee who felt bold and seemed combative.

limited breakfast. we left and went elsewhere. clean but bed needs to be replaced. if you didn’t lay in the middle you would have rolled off. tried to check in 20 mins early. Guy said it’s a fifty dollar charge to early check in. tried to call ahead to ask about early check in No one answered the phone for almost 2 hours. key didn’t work. again no one answered the phone. had to walk all the way back. had to pay 12 bucks for parking. and there was still NO parking. because there was a BUS parked taking up 8 to 10 slots. it’s like an apartment so there are no elevators or hallways which is nice. it was very quiet.

When we checked in, we were downgraded because they sold out of the rooms we booked. It’s not my problem that they overbooked or sold out…we should have been upgraded, not downgraded. I will not book with a third party app again, when I have lifetime platinum points with the hotel. If it wasn’t late, and if I wasn’t exhausted from our long drive, I would have complained or moved hotels. It’s only one night, and the room was non refundable. Again, NEVER, again.

Loved the stay ! Will stay again for my future trips ! Only a 20 min drive from Disney!

Overall, room was nice, relatively large. But it’s in a business park area with nothing really close by or walking distance in regards to food and similar amenities.

Located in a somewhat industrial area but short drive to restaurants freeway access etc. We stayed here during move-in weekend for Cal State Fullerton. They have a great complimentary breakfast and all of the staff were great. The room we were in was towards the back of the complex and you do hear some freeway noise but actually it was like white noise for us falling asleep.

Pretty nice location seemed very quit. Pet friendly. Over all good room, decent free breakfast. Build your own waffles.

Maria the breakfast attendant did a wonderful job and was very personable.

The accessible eBay broom did not have a shower chair, front desk was quick to remedy that. The bathroom while spacious and nice, there could have been more counter space for hygiene items. There were no draws to put away clothing so we had to live out of suitcases. They have a rather large desk that could be replaced with a low chest of draws. They gave extra towels and trash removal when requested. We were there for 6 nights and only had the room cleaned and bed linens changed once and we had to ask several times. The person who cleansed and changed the linens did an excellent job! The front staff were friendly for the most part. Breakfast was ok. There was not a lot of choices for someone with food allergies but otherwise it was a good mix of carbs dairy and protien. Most mornings we didn’t get there in time for something to eat as they either ran out or they shut down just as we got there. I think that they could leave the coffee and tea for people but instead they offer water and lemonade during the day. There are not enough handicapped parking spots and for 9 bucks a night, there should be. I had to park my car on the other side of the hotel complex after unloading my son in his wheelchair. While that’s not a big issue for me it can pose a bit of an issue for other non ambulatory persons. Overall the experience was pleasant.

I stayed here with my 4yo son. Breakfast was good. It was very clean, spacious.

Breakfast was amazing, by far the best I have even had at a hotel. They go above and Briton’s keeping the space clean and having extra toppings, sauces, and fresh options. The room we were in was slightly dated but very nice and comfortable. Didn’t love that parking is $9 a night but not to bad compared to many places that are $25-$35 per night.
