Very friendly service with a Nov clean and quiet room. The mattress was a nice firmness and lots of pillow options. The breakfast was good, especially with make you own waffles and specialty coffee machine. The one big downside is a three level hotel without an elevator. It’s difficult with for seniors. It was a nice stay overall.

Best Western Plus Placerville is amazing-complimentary breakfast, complimentary coffee/tea in the reception area, has a well equipped gym with even a Peloton, a swimming pool where one can take a dip after a long day and a beautiful garden well maintained by Aquiles. Mary at the front desk was efficient and very helpful. No wonder this hotel is often fully booked.

Nice, pool and spa were great but no spa bubbles. They need to adress that. I forgot my code to my room safe and when i asked to have it opened they couldnt accommodate me before i left. Not sure if they opemed it or not.

Placerville Inn is a well-maintained and welcoming hotel with clean comfortable rooms. The comfort and satisfaction of their guests is clearly a high priority for their friendly staff. Parking is plentiful and convenient. I will always stay there, when I visit Placerville.

Free breakfast was good. I rented an EV and there was charging right there which was very helpful. Room was clean and everything worked. The negatives were a strong cleaner smell in the hallways, road noise from Missouri Flats Rd, and we could hear the people walking in their room above us. I would stay there again.

The employees were absolutely great but the property is worn, dated and not amazingly clean. Doors, windows, walls were a bit grimy. The road noise is significant here. I’m a heavy sleeper and my road-facing room was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. Ask for a room facing away from Missouri Flat Road.

We asked for a pet room, so I expected it to smell like dog. I def don’t expect it to have the paintings ripped off the walls, a giant splinter in the tub surround, dirty floors and for it to reek of cigarettes. It was horrible, the curtains were off enough to let the parking lot lights right on my face the entire night. I reached out to BW Corp with no response. 😡

The shower took 10 minutes to produce a lukewarm trickle. There is black mold in a corner of the shower in room 215. The staff were very nice and hard working. Management needs to step up and support them by making much needed repairs and renovations. I will not stay here again.

I always get a room with a couch or easy chair as my back makes sitting on the bed painful.....the couch here was filthy with a capital F. The manager brought a bedspread a sheet to help me cover it so I could sit on something clean. I have stayed here many many times, this was the first bad experience I had and they were very accomodating to help me get it covered. That kind of dirt doesn't show up in a day. They have many construction people stay there......so they need to stay on top of the conditions of the furniture.

We stay at the Best Western every Christmas because it is clean and comfortable. This year, the room was a bit dusty (possibly due to the construction), we got only one set of towels for two people, there was no alarm clock, and a quarter of the room was completely empty, giving the room a spartan feel. I'm hoping all of this will be improved upon before next Christmas.

There was a leak in my room as I was on the top floor. It looked like it had been repaired before. I hadn’t noticed it when I first checked in. It rained the first night so the repair obviously didn’t work. I was given a new room but I don’t think that room should have been rented out in the first place. Also my key rarely worked to get into the building.

The room was very spacious, had a separate closet rather than an exposed rod and the bathroom water closet was huge! The only thing that could be changed was the toilet. It was probably original and although it was spotless, it was a very low height.

The air conditioner was sooooo noisy. Impossible to get any sleep. Also the curtains do not block all the light. So it’s not actually dark. The sofa bed had all sorts of stains. So dirty. Would not stay again

The hotel is a bit dated but tidy. The Spa wasn't super warm the first night we got there, but we let the front desk know and it was steaming hot by the morning. The suites feel a bit under furnished, but they're okay for the price.

The phones in the room didn’t work. Breakfast was empty since 9:15 AM. - dm breakfast until 10 AM. I went to the front desk to speak with “Tracey” at the front desk - she was on a personal call on her cell phone, talking about how she’s always lived as a bartender, she doesn’t have a place to stay, and has to make a choice. It was loud enough for anyone to hear at the front lobby. I looked around the front desk so she knows I’m I was waiting at the front desk so that she knows that I needed to speak with her regarding the breakfast. Once she saw me, she raised her index finger to signaling me to continue waiting, while she continued her personal phone call. Once she got off the phone, I explained to her the situation, and she stated that no extra breakfast was going to be placed outside because she is not responsible for the breakfast. I asked to speak to the manager She stated that she was the acting manager at the time. I questioned how she is the active manager, but yet can’t do anything about the breakfast. At this point, she just completely ignored me I asked for her name and she told me wall pointing at her badge. Very unprofessional and rude. Will NEVER return.

Did not clean our room on Sunday even though we put the sign out early requesting that service. Staff only gave us excuses when we asked why- 1- people did not show up to work, 2-We don’t clean rooms on Sunday. The restroom in the breakfast room had not been cleaned in quite some time. The room was in need of maintenance. We arrived and asked of we could checkin early as we were going to be visiting family and would not return until late. Our room was available but they said we would have to pay $30.Really??

This stay was perfect for my fiancée who required handicap room. Your staff calling to confirm if I would be checking in was heaven sent. Driving for 9hours is not easy and when your staff called to confirm we were coming made a lot of fears dissipate and then she was able to get me in to the appropriate room was such a blessing! Highlight is the included breakfast service. The food choice is average but the breakfast staff is exceptional with restocking & cleanliness. The only item that would make the stay more enjoyable is coffee & tea available in the room. Coffee is offered in the lobby however I’m not inclined to walk outside to the lobby at night in my pj’s or bathrobe.

Mirror in room is ocd crooked. The breakfast had fairly good choices but the cooked eggs were burnt both days, not eatible. Sausage was ok. Bacon was paper thin. A homeless guy came in 3 times and filled up 3 plates at a time and took them out and around to the side of the building. Not stopped. Maybe good but probably drives up prices very expensive room for an ok stay. Lumpy bed.

First time in my life that a hotel cannot make me a key card for my room that actually works. The receptionist had eight tries at it. She finally showed me that I needed to try one card, then the other, then the other, and keep switching cards back and forth until one of them works. This was a very stressful, awkward situation. Once I finally got into my room, I was too afraid to leave for fear I would not be able to get back in and would have to have another uncomfortable exchange with the receptionist. Consequently, instead of venturing into town for a nice meal, I stuffed a bath towel between the door and the door jamb to make sure it would not fully close, then ran down the hall for a a bag of chips and a candy bar from the vending machine for dinner. This might have been fun were I twelve-years-old, but, alas, I am not. Upon arrival I was glad to see EV chargers. When I asked what I needed to do to get to use one, I was told that I needed to pay "them." I asked who the "them" was and the receptionist did not know. I asked a maintenance person. They said there was a key, but he did not know where it was, and the receptionist didn't know either. Ironically, the wifi password is a word that means to unwind or chill. This was a high stress, unpleasant experience. I am going to say my worst hotel experience ever.

First the keycard wouldn’t work to get in the building. Then u got that fixed. Get to my room. The card works. The light turns green. And I push the door open and it’s locked on the inside. They put me in a room already occupied. Then didn’t answer when I called the front desk. So I dragged all three kids thru the hotel back to the office and they fixed it. Went to the new hotel room and the bathroom door was broken off the hinges.

Our key card stopped working five times. We went back and back to front desk. Even the desk manager admired the card system is terrible. Also, we had no body wash or shampoo in the dispensers. Although not necessarily hotel’s fault but had a person outside at 5 am banging on a garbage can yelling, “Time to get up.” Went on for a good ten minutes.
