Awful stay unfortunately. Couldn’t check in for over an hour later then I was told originally. We were told to sit in our cars out front and would receive calls in an hour. Housekeeping was behind. When we finally got a room it was not clean whatsoever. Pool was freezing, not heated. Hot tub didn’t work. Bath tub didn’t work. Tv didn’t have a working remote

Have been staying here a long time. Love that the pool is heated in winter and has an actual deep end. Very convenient if you have business in Pleasanton. Hot tub was out of order this time, but isn’t usually. Good staff, I can always request the room type I want and usually get it.

Great, right from checkin. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had the perfect room - and it was, roomy, spotless, and a nice patio overlooking the grounds and pool area. Perfect. The pool was large, heated, and spotless, the hot tub was the perfect temperature, and the grounds were meticulous.

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed here. We enjoy the property and its amenities. Rooms have always been nice. The property is getting older and now there is a parking charge of $10, for what? Its not like the parking is secure or safe. Its an open parking lot. Pathetic money grab.

This property is under MAJOR renovation and this was not disclosed. My room was clean and acceptable, but there are no elevators on property and you have to walk outside to get anywhere (there's no connected hallways.) We had a major work conference that was continually being interrupted by construction noise. I would recommend this hotel AFTER construction is completed.

the room was filthy dirty. never was vacuumed (age old dirt and decay in carpeting) and had growth and mold all over the shower. Coffee in room had an old moldy pod in it. When I complained to front desk they apologized profusely and housekeeping just came and make the bed - and LEFT the dirty moldy coffee pod!!! Bathroom had peeling tiles and tub with stains so bad that I wore flip flops in the shower. This was worst cleanliness I have ever seen. A portapotty would have been more sanitary!!

I’ve stayed at 4 Point by Sheraton about a dozen times and always found it to be a great place to stay. It’s always clean and comfortable and my go to place when I’m in the area. NOT THIS TIME. There was NO coffee in the room, only tea. The full length mirror was falling off the wall. There was a long black hair on the shower wall. Finally there were brown spots on the shower curtain there I don’t want to even guess what they were. I was going to book a room for 3 weeks from now but I have to seriously rethink this.

Room smelled like a wet dog. Lots of mildew in the bathroom. Room keys frequently failed. Listing said there was a guest laundry - there isn’t. No discernible amenities at all, despite what the listing says. No ice machine, no laundry, no functional internet. It’s basically Motel 6 with greenery.

This hotel is a hidden gem. I live in the area and often pass by the property, not realizing how beautiful it is. We booked a two night stay due to a prolonged power outage in my neighborhood. We chose this hotel for its location and price per night but did not expect much. It looks like a mini resort with the well maintained garden, which offered a really nice and peaceful view from our room. Our room was clean and spacious with a balcony. I work remotely so I really appreciated the ample desk space. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and out of town guests.

Apretty bad experience staying there. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, but the room was very dimly lit with no central lighting. The check-in process was a hassle, as we could not easily find the lobby and there were no clear directions. The major issues started on our third day, when someone had tried to break into our car the previous night. An unknown key-type device was left in our driver-side door keyhole in the morning. This made us feel very unsafe. When we returned to our room that night, the room’s door lock was damaged and would not open. We had to wait outside for at least 30 minutes with our bags until the receptionist could shift us to a different room. We then had to hastily move all of our belongings from the old room to the new one within a few minutes once the door was broken open. The new room’s bathroom also smelled extremely bad upon arrival. After all these disappointing experiences, we did not feel safe continuing our stay, so we checked out early on our last day. I reported all of these issues with the receptionist as well.

Hotel was nice and clean, however it was very difficult to get a hold of the front desk. When you call the number that is given, it is not the phone number on site so I got a lot of run around and no answer. Checkout sign on building says 12:00pm but receipt checkout said 11am so it was confusing. And I was unable to get hold of front desk if I wasn't in hotel.

Worst experience ever on a hotel. I had better experience from a Motel 6. Check in is at 3pm, and I arrived at around 3:30 pm and they said they didn't have any room ready for me and 4 other people ahead of me. They told me to write my name and number in a scrap paper. I decided to stay in the lobby to wait for it. One couple had the same experience after I did. The line finally built up for check in and they called the couple after I arrived and I waited for my name but, was never called. They started giving rooms to the ones in line. So I joined the long line to get my room. When it was my turn I asked the receptionist if they were ever going to call me for an available room. The receptionist told me that she doesn't know anything about it since she just got on shift. She finally got me a room. I hauled my stuff to the room and the keys did work but the door would bot open. The front desk is far from the room. I walked there twice to get it resolved. They had to move me to a another room in the second floor of another building. They don't have elevators so I had to drag my stuff to that room. After all that, I just wanted to relax before I get ready to an event and watch TV. The TV channels were not working. They said they are having problems with that throughout the whole building and they called a technicians already. I checked out the next day and the TV was still not working right.

The room itself was nice, as usual for a Sheraton. I liked the bed. I found it odd that the tv did not have guide to see what was on it, having to scroll through all the channels. The hotel is located in a large business park. As I have found in California, the sinage for the hotel is discreet, meaning, it blends in too perfectly with its neighbors. The hotel was in the middle of a large renovation. That was apparent as soon as I drove in. However, there was little signage indicating where registration was located, and it was not well lit in the dark. I am sure that will all change when it is completed. I was very surprised to be charged for parking. Although it was listed on the site's web page, the location of the hotel and the fact there was only surface lot parking was (like any suburban hotel) it wasn't worth the money. I will say, I used my Hotels.com rewards, so that my only cost was taxes and parking.

I have stayed at this property in previous years and it was good. This time however, the property is under renovation and the available rooms were in a back building behind parking lots filled with construction containers. The parking lot was dark and unsafe, random groups of men that did not appear to be hotel guests were hanging out there at night. It was also dirty, cigarettes butts and dog poop outside of the entry door along with an overflowing trash can that was not emptied during our multi day stay. The non working refrigerator in our room was replaced promptly. The room was okay, stark, with no trash receptacle. The last night was very noisy with a very loud (screaming) fight going on in the hallway and nearby room. Never saw or heard any security personnel. Line for checkin was very long and slow on the first day.

Restaurant and bar have been under remodel for two years now! Had I have known this I would have picked a different location.

No mention of the construction going on in the lobby area on the Hotels.com website. Breakfast was not provided that was included in the price and there was $10 parking fee that the front desk did not inform me of until I asked. There was so much construction noise I could not hear the person at the front desk. I’m sure they were not in a good mood hearing that all day.

The room was clean. The best was comfy. Lobby was nice. Parking you had to pay which is a pain ($10.00 per night). Staff was kind but I checked in after 10 and there was several people so it took about 15 minutes to get helped. All in all for the price I would stay here again. Ps. No elevator that I saw so if you are on the second floor stairs are on the outside of the building.

Staff would not start the check in process unless exactly at 3pm. It was 2:35pm and the room was ready. They wanted to charge $40 for 25min early check in, which in my 30 years of traveling have not heard of before. After a long drive, the rudeness of it all was surprising, and upsetting.
