The staff was very helpful. The breakfast area was spotless, and the breakfast had variety. The only downside was that the fitness area did not have a temperature control and was warm. Also, the TV did not have a remote in the fitness area and one of the machines was not operational. Overall a decent hotel.

The hotel was clean and well maintained with friendly staff. Parking was good Walking distance to the beach was the best part of this hotel. A quiet, safe area The pool was extremely small, definitely smaller than looked like in the pictures So with five or six kids in it it was crowded and we did not end up using the hotel pool the entire stay because there was no room and it looked dirty. Same with the jacuzzi So the proximity to the beach made it up for it. There's no fun bars or fun restaurants close to this hotel. It's a drive or a $25 Uber ride. Hotel coffee was good The breakfast was just okay and they absolutely need more toasters There's a big line just to toast your bagel. Such a simple thing would improve the breakfast The room was very comfortable. The bed and pillows were nice. I will stay there again.

Not a horrible hotel but photographs definitely make it appear much nicer than it is. The pool floors were stained and it looked nasty. My room only had 2 outlets that actually worked.

We loved the reasonable price to spend the night before heading to Anacapa Island. But the room we stayed in smelled HORRIBLY of mold. To the point that we woke up congested, migraine and generally unwell. The shower did not have enough protection (only a half piece of glass, no curtain at all) to protect bathroom floor from getting completely drenched while we took our morning showers, so I imagine others have had the same experience and the walls must be rotted all the way through. I would never stay here again due to the mold...it is SO dangerous to your body. In addition, the parking lot was ridiculously old so we couldn't wheel our suitcases through the lot without damaging the wheels...and once you got past the ten trillion potholes, there are decorative paver bricks with deep gaps unfit for wheels to get through next...so basically, you must carry your suitcase all the way into the door from the parking lot behind the building, or drive up and unload at the front entrance (not always a great option on a long road trip the more unorganized things become in the car!). Lastly, the curtains were behind the fridge/dresser/tv unit. Darn near impossible to get them closed with a massive piece of furniture blocking them - and you can't keep them open unless you want everyone below seeing you naked. I'm usually not a complainer over a quick hotel stay, but so much needs fixing here! I expected better for the price, but Motel 6 would have been nicer.

Stayed alone for 3 nights while the husband was in the Channel Islands camping. The room was quite big and had a good size refrigerator and a microwave and also a good coffee maker. Breakfast was sufficient with scrambled eggs and turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy. No complaints The building is a bit old and had a musky smell. The gym was quite small with only one working treadmill.

This property was really overpriced for what we got. There were no complimentary waters in the room, which I’d expect for $240/night in a no-frills double queen room. The staff was lovely. I do NOT recommend using the laundry facilities, as my one small load cost me $7 to wash and dry, and there wasn’t even a little table to fold your clean items. The room needed som updating in the bathroom, but that wasn’t too bad. Just a difficult time unrolling toilet paper was the worst part. Overall it was fine, but not worth the price.

The carpet was dirty. Caused my feet to be black. The rest of the housekeeping was fine. Carpet was a definite problem. The facility didn't allow for late checkouts which was very problematic for me. The breakfasts were good.

This place was a bit dated but good enough for a couple nights. Free breakfast was a plus and the staff was great. The room was musty upon first entering but got better once we ran the air a couple hours. Clean and updated bathroom. I’d stay again.

My wife and I decided to just get away for the weekend and watch some wrestling and sports. After getting our stuff unpacked and ourselves situated we tried turning on the tv and set up streaming on the tv. After we found out that the streaming was not working I reported it to the front desk. They gave me the number for me to call IT. That didn’t help so the girl at the front desk came to our room to try to fix it. I told her that what we were watching on our phone was over and not to worry about it. I just think that the hotel should have been more modernized and be able to stream as advertised. I will not go back to this hotel.

The hotel is dated and the rooms should be remodeled. The rooms are pricey but not modern. The room was dark even after turning on all the available lighting inside. The furniture is scratched up and the coffee maker was next to the TV and the TV hung over the stand it was on. in order to move the TV angle, you had to move the coffee maker. Housekeeping is lacking, I was told if there was no sign declining service on the room door , housekeeping would automatically come in and replace towels, empty trash etc. They did it the first day but after 2 days nobody checked my room, I finally stopped a housekeeper that was outside in the hallway on my floor and asked her to please provide new towels, toilet paper and empty the trash. She appeared annoyed that I asked for service. People were propping open the side doors to let others in, or waiting outside and calling to be let in instead of using the main entrance. The best part of this hotel was the bed. It was very comfortable.

we were given a large handicap accessible room...an upgrade?..close to the lobby. That was convenient. The breakfast provided was great with many good options. The bad: Our window faced the side parking lot with two large floodlights. The curtains don't shut at all..just the sheers. Anybody outside can see us inside and the floodlights made the room bright and it is hard to sleep.

Was staying in an executive suite and they weren’t ready for us at check in. The room was over and hour late. Then we were sent up to our room - which was still being cleaned. After this we were given new room keys for another room. No blinds / privacy at all in living room area or bedroom.

Would not stay her again. Property is dirty. The front desk staff was unwilling to help in our situation, forcing my son to sleep on the floor and not willing to even provide extra blankets for him. We ended up staying at another hotel and paying double to get out of there after 1 night.
