The pictures on their site are nothing like the dump this place really is. Nasty linens, nasty shower, filthy towels. Curtains that provide little privacy, poor external lighting, and no smoke detectors. The floors pop and give some as you walk around. Honestly, this would be a sorry excuse for a homeless shelter, let alone a motel. I stayed for about 2 hours and checked right back out. If you’re in ridgecrest, CA and want a dump to stay in, maybe even catch a few things, this is your place.

When i checked in I noticed i was the onky guest there at that time, the owner placed me and my girlfriend in the very last room at the end. When we opened the door the heat hit us like we opened an oven. The walls were dirty the counter tops were dusty the bathroom was disgusting. While using the rest room I killed 3 cockroachs. While sitting on the bed i noticed 4 on the walls, there was what could have been cockroach poop or bed bugs on the white sheets behind the pillows. Needless to say we left!

Check in was easy. When I opened the door to the room,ni was shocked. Knowing it was a smoking room, I never thought the room would be so bad. The bed was soft but low to the ground. It was a king, only had two pillows, there was no fitted sheet(A flat sheet was used instead) and the only comforter was thin and full of holes. None of the outlets worked and couldn't even hold the weight of a charger base. All of the furniture was mismatched and the bathroom was small but it was clean. The towels were mismatch and dirty and I saw a baby roach crawling on the sink. This place was disgusting.

I was very impressed with Hotel Europa. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. My room was clean as well as the area around the motel. My room had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a budget motel in which to base yourself in Ridgecrest/China Lake -- This is the play. I highly recommend staying here.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. I arrived late and the front desk worker was very friendly and responsive. The room was very clean and comfortable for the price. The kicker was the amazing lighting. I left 20 minutes behind my planned scheduled drive to Death Valley because I got caught up in my vanity taking selfies. Will definitely stay here again.

At check-in Ben offered me a larger bed for same price - so I took it. Room had a musty smell, uncertain on the source (maybe A/C?). When I walked into bathtub area I found a cricket & beetle - both dead - on the floor. When I 1st used the microwave I noted the mechanism which turns the glass plate was missing, this caused my coffee cup to get scorched. Couldn’t help but notice the room paint job was piecemeal - various parts of room were clearly painted at different times, different shades on same wall. Loved the large shower head as well as the nice cold A/C.

I stayed at this place twice now. I’m working overnight and I ask the property owner if there was any possible way for an early check in but all the rooms were being cleaned. So I was going to take a nape in my truck and wait about 10 later he knocked on my window and checked me into a room so I can get some rest, this was very kind of him because I’ve been to other places and they would make me wait till 3pm

DO NOT STAY HERE! The property is not what it is posted to be and completely unsafe. Upon arrival the staff did not speak English and were rude. Our rooms were dirty and smelled horrible, nothing worked and even the door had been kicked in the frame and lock was broken. When we brought this to their attention they barely responded and told us to “calm down” rather than addressing the concern professionally. Absolutely horrified this property is still in business.

Our stay was pleasant. The room allotted to us was very neat and clean. This hotel is located within a mile from known restaurants, gas stations and big shopping chain Walmart. The old man at reception was very kind and helpful. He is always available 24x7 to respond.

A police officer came at 2:30AM to an unoccupied room next door/ didn’t feel safe. Cigarette left on floor from previous room occupant. Room not cleaned thoroughly
