This hotel was ok, but I probably wouldn't recommend. They charge $15/night to park in their lot...then there aren't any spots?! The back of the lot is full of antique cars...we finally spot in the back away from any doors to the hotel. I woiuldn't care as much if I weren't having to pay for a crappy spot and walk quite a distance with kids & luggage. The quality of the hotel did not feel like a Hilton. The bathroom vanity is old, painted wood. The duvet has a sheet laid on top of it that constantly moves away from the duvet. The hot tub was luke warm at best...after we were in it for 30 mins, staff said we need to get out because of poor water quality/they needed to clean it. Most of the stairwells aren't marked...overall, it just did not feel like a Hilton property at all.

All in all we had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West. I booked the night before our stay and was grateful to find a room at a reasonable price. The only two things I would say is that the main elevators stopped working at one point and we had to redirect to the back of the hotel to the other elevators, and the pool and patio are in need of refreshing. The chairs were tearing, the pool was a bit dirty, the jets in the hot tub didn't work, and the water in the hoot tub was warm at best but not hot. Other than these items, our room was nice, the food was good, and the service was good! We would definitely stay again.

Bar was good and service was better than last stay in Sept. Hot tub was unavailable again (still) from Sept visit. Should be updated online if this will no longer be available. Safe did not work but maintenance was quick to repair (battery replacement). Overall stay was good. Convenient location for freeway but not so much for food.

The service people were good, but the room was dirty. There was lots of hair in the bathroom and in the tub. the bathroom maintains were very simple, equivalent to a cheap hotel, definitely not in a level of a Hilton brand price. Smell of smoke and weed was filling the hallway. But again, the people were very nice.

Best thing was the in-room dining and staff were friendly. Room was okay, but baseboards and curtains were visibly dirty, as were the carpet. The bathroom was outdated and awkward, with the toilet right behind the small door, leaving little room to open the door or get in the shower without closing the door. Huge unused space in bathroom and oversized closet. One small window had a spider and web.Not great!

Not until I rolled bedding down there was blood on the sheets. That is so disgusting and unsanitary. I was so unhappy with the response that the front desk had like oh well sorry. Since we reserved with a 3rd party Expedia, they had no concern. Then trying to get in touch with Expedia is a whole different story. Can't find no contact number to complain so unhappy overall with the service of the hotel and with Expedia.

Air conditioning was not working until I complained, then it worked. No fans in bathroom, very steamy and stuffy. Housekeeping did not change sheets or clean floors, bathtub. Remote for TV did not work, got it replaced. Overall, an older suite. Small bathroom and stuffy rooms. Okay for a night or two but would not recommend for an extended stay.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The bed was super comfortable. The only thing was it seemed like the air-conditioning was not working properly so they had a separate unit in my room that was an air conditioning unit by itself. The only problem was it was really loud so you could not run it at night when you were sleeping

It's an older hotel but very clean, well kept and everything works well. Very nice stay. Pool has shade in the evening so grate for a swim even on a hot day. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were actually good.

I came into town for business. The hotel is an older building. Pros: nice staff and super quick and easy check in. The bed was super soft and nice. Cons: older building and facilities and not in the most amazing shape. Also very close to the highway and you can hear cars easily from the room. Ear plugs were provided.

The property had a restaurant and bar area but the bar was closed for us. The room was not very spacious and rhe cooling did not seem to work correctly. Rooms were a bit outdated. Its close to the Arden Mall and places to eat but the immediate surroundings are not nice. I wouldn't recommend walking to eat but its a very close drive. Not a bad stay, but not great either.

The furniture in my room noticeably old, chipped/damaged wood, and drawers wouldn't stay closed. There was a musty old smell when we walked in. It all made the room feel like an old motel instead of the Hilton.

The staff is wonderful - smiling, joking, treating you like a mix of honored guest and family member. The customer service is efficient and customer care is taken bery seriously. The property is clean, spacious, and lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is dated. The room had an odd smell. The staff was horrible with communication and when addressed, the were unapologetic. I’ve been a customer of this hotel since 2014; customer service has certainly declined over the years.

Didn’t give me the room that I booked. Receptionist was rude. When I asked more questions, he just stared at me. Nice lobby but once up the elevator, dirty carpet floors, hair on bed sheets. No customer service at all and old.

Beautiful hotel with an elegant bar and restaurant. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful, assisting me with my luggage and promptly providing a luggage carrier when requested. Even though they were short of staff in the morning due to the bellman being away on an airport pickup, the service remained attentive and efficient. Overall, a wonderful stay.

I arrived late Friday. Tired from my traveling tried ordering food from the Grill. Phone rung all evening. I woke up early Saturday order breakfast. Arrive in great time, I ate half and laid back down to wake up with Debbie standing at the edge of my bed. Startled me however, I remained calm and question if she saw me lying here? She claims she didn’t btw I’m 5’9 and weight 225. How did you not see me. She is extremely lucky and hopefully will never enter a room where you clearly see and hear someone sleeping.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, our truck got broken into the last night of our stay. They cut open our truck bed locked cover and took what was in the back. We were aware of the signs that said it was not the hotels responsibility if there was any vandalism to vehicles, but when we notified the hotel the clerk could care less. We just wanted to know if we needed to fill out a form of any kind to let them know what happened and the clerk was more annoyed that we asked that question. Every night we did see a security guard walking around, so we felt a little safe leaving our truck in the parking lot. However, he obviously was not walking around during our break in. Needless to say we will not be staying here again!!

It’s in an industrial/commercial zone with the freeway on one side and what looks like a junkyard on the other. There is NOTHING anywhere near it in the way of food options. The rooms and hallways are dated. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke.

I had a very nice experience at the hotel. We went for New Year's Eve and had dinner at the hotel at the restaurant and the food was delicious! It also haa a full bar in the restaurant and hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. I loved the shower. I felt safe there. Arden Mall is about 3 minutes by car. It has restaurants, shopping, and everything you would need. I recommend staying here.

The bar and restaurant are outdated. TVs were better in the rooms than the bar. Bed was way too soft. The water briefly shut off twice while I was showering. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean.

Sfaff were very helpful, taking care of all of our requests. We chose Uber rather than renting a car and Ubers were ways available. Returning to airport had good morning commute speed. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Zinfandel Grille was our favorite. Hotel dining was a very good option.

Hotel is located centrally to Sacramento and in a homeless, crime-ridden area. No lobby coffee. Onsite restaurant closed for dinner. Must eat at bar or room service. Restaurant only open for breakfast. My waiter wreaked of tobacco. Parking lot Security gates never closed but they charge guests $11 daily parking while non-guests park for free! Both you and your vehicle are not safe outside. Music from first floor private event resonated up to 10th floor, could not sleep. My room carpet was dirty. The employees and manager were "tight-lipped" about my parking fee complaint. My Hilton Honors were dis-honored at this dump.
