Did not like having to pay $30 to park, pool was empty--should have been told about this at check in. Tried to get room close to my son's (he checked in at same time), that didn't work either, my room on 19 th floor and his on the 6 th.

The parking is off-site which is not stated on the hotel website or on Expedia. It was also advertised as USD$25 but is actually USD$30. They also advertise that there are two complimentary EV parking stalls - there are not. There is only 1 stall and it is paid. Once fully charged, they start charging idling fees. This was really upsetting and no staff for the hotel could help or knew anything about the complimentary EV stations - the tv in the room even noted the free stations but the staff say they don’t know where it is.

There is no hotel owned parking, but a private company across the street (Ace) will bill you daily through the Hotel. I found it very convenient - but wasn\'t prepared for the $30. daily self-park fee. Also, when you calculate hotel costs, tack on another $30 daily charge for "tourism fee". I found the room clean and comfortable. The on-site food option was a limited selection, but good food. (probably due to limited staff) The price for breakfast well exceeds business travel rates and the single page LD menu was the same whether dining at the restaurant or at the bar, but I enjoyed the small social atmosphere at the lobby pub each night. Since I was visiting for an event hosted at the hotel, it was nice to have solid on-site food to last a four night stay.

Two bed room was not available till 9 pm and we were there for 2 days only. Launch club room had no milk or coffee not to mention food. In restaurant we had to wait 45 min for dish to arrive so we left before it could be served. We had commitments that were time sensitive . Pool was under construction and it was 91F outside

The hotel is ok, but we didn't know they didn't have their pool open yet, and we were hoping to use it during our stay as we were going there for an event and were traveling with kids. Even in the lobby, they had some advertising on their tv saying the pool hours, but I found out from the staff that the pool had been closed for a while now, and they had yet to learn when it would be open again. However, they said we could use the pool from a hotel they agreed with, but that's not convenient. So ok, next time I'll book another hotel.

There were a few issues with my stay this time. I got a email saying that we could check in early. So I responded yes and that I would check in by noon. We get there at 1 and the front desk says they don’t have the room I reserved. Only a 2 queen room. So we unhappily accepted it after complaining for a couple minutes. We then got changed into our swimming suits and went to the pool. It was empty. No water at all. Not cool at all. The shower in the room had no soap in dispensers. And also, parking is across the street in a garage that charges $25 per night. I love the location of the hotel for restaurants, breweries and concert venues.

A convenient hotel for downtown Sacramento, close to the Capitol buildings. Parking will cost $30 per day and is a short walk across the street. Clean room, and on the 24th floor it was nice and quiet. No morning breakfast though.

When we checked in there were uncollected trash in the bathroom It was almost half full with sanitary pads that was obviously from the previous occupant. The hallway was noisy because every time there's someone using the vendo machine, the drop of the soda or water in the machine is heard inside our room.

While a great location, disappointed with amenities due to construction. Our room was spacious but the "barn door" bathroom door doesn’t close completely and inside of door obviously doesn’t get cleaned often as the inside was dirty with soda sprayed all over it. Staff was helpful and very courteous.

Overall, the stay was very good. The hotel itself is not as new as the other options close by, and the price reflected that. Deferred maintenance is beginning to be visible. In the main lobby, which is supposed to be the grand entryway, there are cobwebs and dirt in the lighting. When we arrived, there was a long line to check in. Staff was polite and helpful. The atmosphere in the hotel was festive. It’s the small details in the facility itself that is starting to set itself apart from the local competition. The main thing that made it difficult to stay there was the area wasn’t walkable, later in the evening. The homeless population and debris on the sidewalks, made exploring unpleasant.

valet parking. bathroom lacked a bar of soap, only dispensable soap. Sitting Chair in room was totally fatigued and dirty. Window seat pad stained and dirty. The final price for this room with parking was $490-. As a business owner I would be embarrassed with the overall product.

We have stayed at this property for annual events for years. Next time somewhere else. The bedding was leftover from the previous guest, clean bedding was not provided. Extra $ for internet, extra $$$ for valet parking, only option. Staff was pleasant and property was clean inside. Outside, dirty and homeless everywhere. Very loud with traffic noise in the room on the 11th floor. Won't be going back, expensive, additional charges for everything, just not worth it anymore.

We stayed for two nights just as a fun weekend get-away. Since we had tickets for a concert at The Crest, this hotel was really convenient and easy walking distance to the venue and a lot of restaurants near by. We didn't rent a car, so didn't have to deal with parking and walked everywhere. The front desk service was friendly and fast, and both check-in and check-out was very smooth and easy. Our room was on the 13th floor and fairly spacious. It was in good condition, but all the fixtures, furniture, and finishes were tired. Everything was functional and clean so no complaints at all, but maybe a refresh is due soon. If you're staying in downtown Sacramento I would recommend the Grand Sheraton, and I'd stay here again.

Stay was wonderful, we attended the military ball there. They are currently under construction so it was a little confusing to find check in until a guest directed us, but other than that, the stay was great! We had a beautiful view on the 26th floor. Bed was super comfortable! Would stay here again. Valet was great as well!

Friendly staff at check in. Beautiful property and decent room. Had trouble with the ac took much effort to get the ac to work. Every button had to be held down for 3-5 seconds. Went half the night without ac because we’re unable to change the temperature on the thermostat. Purchased breakfast but mishap in times and on mother’s day had no breakfast options at 10 am. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately for us we were near the elevator on the 15th floor. When we first got to our room I thought someone was vacuuming the room next to or above us. No, it was the elevator and it was nonstop until about 2am. We were told there was a breakfast buffet at 7am. At 7:45 there was nothing but a collection of chafing dishes. Sleeping and eating is what we tend to do at a hotel, so I’d say they missed the mark. We won’t be back. This could have been a nice stay if sleeping were possible.

Took 60 minutes to be checked in on a random Thursday at 3 pm. Check in time is 3, they didn’t have anyone’s rooms ready until 4:30-5. I asked if we could at least check our bags to be checked while we walked around town and he “wasn’t sure” where that could occur. Pretty much the opposite of what I would expect for a midrange hotel like this. Check out other nearby options unless you have extra hours to kill for every step of the process.

Stayed in room 2746 on the 13th of September 2025. Checked out on the 14th of September 2025. Four hours after leaving the hotel we realized we left a shoe bag in the closet. NOT LOST, left behind but when we called the hotel, they said policy is to fill out out a lost and found report which is a third party. Gave full description of all items in the shoe bag. but to this date, September 27, 2025, THEY ARE STILL SEARCHING. What happened to the days when someone would go up to the room, grab the bag and hold it at the front desk or in security at the hotel.

Extremely overpriced for a very average room. The room was comparable to a Holiday Inn Express but we paid a luxury hotel rate! We selected this hotel because of the proximity to downtown restaurants and attractions. If we had to do it again we would rent a car and drive into the downtown area. Our rooms were VERY overpriced. In addition, the area surrounding the hotel felt very unsafe after dark.

Very clean and well maintained overall. The rooms were nice. The complimentary soaps in the room were great. I never did find the "breakfast" offered but the restaurant has a good selection. Outside of the hotel (sidewalk/street) leaves much to be desired regarding cleanliness and feeling safe but overall, I would stay here again.

Close to Amtrak Station. Really good food and open for meals when you get in late. They have a nice bar with nice bartenders, and a restaurant for a really good breakfast. Very impressive large lobby.

This place was beautiful. The staff were so kind and friendly. The food at the bar area was so delicious as well. It's super close to lots of fun places including the Golden 1 center. I'd definitely stay again
