I like the hotel for a 1-2 night quick stay, but the really need to update the whole hotel. This place is overly rated for what you receive. The parking lot is a little sketch, there was a guy smoking weed in his car in the parking lot for a few hours hen just left. Never saw him again. Had to check in late, and you would of thought no one has ever done that from the service I received. They were acting like I was coming to rob the place. For the quality, they need to reduce their prices by 25-40% and that would make a huge difference. The one great thing is McDonalds is close by.

Decent location, very old and outdated interior. My room has non working in house phone and hair dryer. Bedcover was a bit dirty. But the front desk gentleman was very attentive and helpful. He went above and beyond to help me with charging my electric vehicle overnight at the parking lot. Thank you so much

The property is very clean. Even though there are some homeless people on the side street, the area is still quiet. Only issue I had was another guest scraped my car. Unfortunately the camera covering that one spot was very blurry and it was difficult to make anything out. Otherwise, no issues with the property or the personnel working there.

Place to crash for the night right off the freeway, next to a McDonalds and Dennys. BAD scene with homeless junkies and hookers at the bottom, really ugly, in that neighborhood. Car was safe for the night and I had no problem walking a block to the Dennys during daylight hours.

The guy behind the desk gave us keys to a first floor room and said "go check the electrical. Do not touch anything else if the electrical is fine you can have that room" -odd. We walked in to: hole above vanity Exposed plumbing STINKS No Fire alarm Valance torn down Cockroach on towels Sticky floor Ice machine broken Noisy neighbors Parking stalls too small Couch filthy My bed had pee spots Homeless encampment The room next door having a party. When we checked in we had to give our info or we couldn\'t stay. There was NO WAY all those people were listed as staying there. DO NOT STAY THERE IS UNSAFE

Smelled . Bed bugs . Dirty see pics below- base of bed . We needed ice but ice machine broke. Bad area . Street where hotel was at a homeless encampment. Felt unsafe . Rowdy guests yelling and kids above us were stomping on the floor . Domestic disturbance in the middle of the night wherein a women was crying like crazy . Well you get what you pay for ….On a positive note , Front desk peeps were nice though and helpful. .

I really liked our room. There were a number of items that needed maintenance - ice machine was inoperable, there were no reading lamps in the room, the wash basin had no stopper for retaining water, there was no extra toilet paper.

The room was the dirtiest hotel ive ever stayed at. My feet were black from the floor, the towels and sheets were not white, the tub was dirty, no coffee or cups, and there were cockroaches! Thete were shady/homeless people hanging outside our room in the parking lot. Would NEVER stay here again

My wife and I went there for our anniversary, the parking lot had some trash , our room was not cleaned only the bed was made up and bath room looking ok for whoever had to clean it. I do reviews everywhere I go, and look and give recognition where it is deserved. To start the blinds on the window didn't close all the way at one spot the 2 chairs are very dirty and one has urine stains on it. I turned off the light and ran my UV black light all over and it's bad , it needs to be steamed cleaned that chair. I feel management should take pride on his hotel and once in a while do walk around and see how's his staff are doing and making sure that the job is done right and keeping up with the place. I hope this review helps and no disrespect.

It was absolutely awful. Disgusting room smelled like cigarettes. No fire alarm, very stained chair, missing tiles in the shower, bathroom door had been chewed by some animal. Checked out early due to safety concerns and no refund was given for the unused night.

Front desk staff was very friendly and kind. We went to the room, it was in poor shape. Hair in the bathtub, tv didn’t work, holes in the wall, dirty, sticky, holes in comforter from cigarette burn. Worst of all which is why we left, after pulling down bedding, there was hair in the sheets and bugs that you could see from standing up.

The room wasn't very clean. Dirty marks on the walls and doors. Burned hole in the bedspread. Bathroom tub was dirty too. The bed shook and was noisy. The neighbor was yelling late at night keeping me up. Horrible.

First room had two individual kleenex tissues. No lamps. Wait, there was a lamp but no bulb and apparently it was unused since 1954. TV didn't work. Desk guy was weird, treated me like the homeless who camp nearby. I called three times about the TV and he finally showed up, and was defeated by the TV, and almost wordlessly he got me a new room. TV worked but my luggage had to go on the bed to open because there was no side table. Old-fashioned heaters were noisy, but helped drown out the traffic noise. It was the cheapest package, and not worth even that. The area is not safe. There were signs all over warning you to watch out. Would I go there again? Sure, if the country turned into Mad Max, this would seem normal. Cannot emphasize enough - not a good place for saving money. You'll lose sleep (the beds, omg) and be enraged.

There are several homeless in their vehicles in the parking lot. The room has mold in the bathroom. The door looks like it's been kicked in. It looks like there's been a fight on the room. The ceiling in the bathroom has a leak so it is sagging. The cabinets are beat up. There were dirty socks and rag on the counter. The bed, you can feel every spring.

We are in non-smoker room, there is faint smoke smells. One of the two queen bed, had at least 15 cigarettes-burned holes on the bedding. Entry of the room is supposed to be sitting area, but no sofa, no chair in the room.

This hotel has bad lighting. No lights by nightstands. The hotel has no noise muffling, from the extremely loud freeway. Are comes under the door along with even more noises. The heater is so loud and rattles, you can hardly sleep. The bedspread had cigarette burns on a room which is supposed to be Non-Smoking. The room smelled like a smoking room. You can hear the neighbors shower, sink and toilet water running and it is very loud. The mattress feels as if it could be at least 30 years old, as you can hear and feel the springs. Not a good stay at all.

This hotel is really worn out bad he's an entire upgrade on everything. The bed extraordinarily uncomfortable you can hear the springs. Cigarette burn marks in the sheets cigarette burn marks on the table it's just a bit of hotel. I almost didn't stay despite already paying non-refundable

When I arrived someone was locking up the place. Left a note on the window stating be back in 30 minutes. Called the number on the window and literally got person persecuted for trying to get answers after driving 2 hours to get there. The manager/owner was the most disrespectful piece of……..totally unacceptable

The late night registration person did not check my ID or credit card and just gave me the hotel key. I got to my room and the lock was broken on the door. I asked the front desk person for another room because I was traveling by myself and he could care less. Someone tried to get into my room during the night so it was a sleepless night. The fire alarm was also missing from the room and was just wires hanging down. The bedding had cigarette holes and just smelled. Housekeeping doesn't good job for what they have to work with. My room overlooked a street with homeless and you could hear them all night.

our tv didn’t work so we had to change rooms. We are using plastic cups for coffee because there is no coffee cups. We have been summoned to the office to fix all the problems when I feel they should be coming to the room like bring new key, bring coffee cups, bring the wi-fi password - nope all their response was you have to come to the office for that

Right off freeway, McDonald's, Denny's & gas station two blocks from hotel is the only good thing about this place. Staff is ok, my room was supposed to be a non-smoking room BUT, it smelled like smoke (like the smell is penetrated in the room). Surrounded by homelessness and the area around the hotel was dirty.

Continent location near old Sacramento town. Great dining near by. Attendant was very helpful, and vigilant. While I was checking in there was a disturbance on the property he took care of quickly. Didn’t find the room up to my standards of clean; but I’ve experienced worse! We had a room with a pull out couch- but there were no linens and it was very dirty! Overall, for the price; it was what I expected. Mostly quiet area with great amenities near by.

There is an entire homeless encampment directly outside this facility. The room was dirty and I felt so unsafe I left after one night. I didn’t even want to touch anything. My bag stayed packed and luckily I had a pillow, yoga mat and a blanket in my car which I placed on top of the bed to sleep on. I was attending the Aftershock Festival and left after 1 day. I wasted so much money coming to this place. The pictures are very old and do not represent this place accurate. It is absolute false advertising and should be reported. I will be sure to let everyone I know who is going to Sacramento NOT to even think about staying at this broke down dirty place.

I felt unsafe during the entire stay. People are dealing drugs here, screaming, yelling and playing loud music until 3am. At first I was given a room that was full of smoke and cockroaches running on a table, with no towels in a room and broken door to the bathroom. I immediately asked for a different room. I was given a better non-smoking room. The guy said they save these room for nice people. I wanted to walk around the area but the guy said it’s unsafe unless you are in a car. I did end up walking to the river and to the center and a few times had to run away from strangers. There are beggars, homeless people and criminals around looking for pray. There are signs of blood on the floor of the property outside of rooms and on the stairs. Cigarette buds all over. At night I felt someone might break into my room. The instructions were given to lock the room on deadbolt and the metal lock. Some woman next to my room was screaming at people outside with an array of curse words, either she is not going to pay or they should pay her. It’s the worst place I ever stayed at in my life. I regret I didn’t ask for money back right away and left immediately.

The room was decent. Regarding space, the room had two queen beds and a bed within the couch which is suitable for a family of 5. You could tell that it used to be a very nice hotel. There was some damage probably from previous guests. The room had a permanent cigarette smell. The owner was nice at check-in. However, no breakfast or any other services are offered. The owners have cameras and security on site.

The staff and room was nice. I didn't really have any complaints with the service. Just the area itself is really depressing with a huge amount of homeless encampments. It's a super sketchy area and not really a lot of places to eat other than a McDonald's and an over-priced Denny's down the street. :-\

The problem was the lack of food options on a Sunday. The McDonalds nextdoor closes at pm. The Denny's was understaffed and had to close their doors early as well. A food desert. So sad; not the fault of the hotel.
