My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I rated diwn however because of the parking. The elevator doesn’t go past the 1st floor and we had to drag our luggage up two flights. The parking is probably the smallest and most difficult lot I’ve ever parked in. I had to inch forward and back several times just to get in and out of a spot. On the way out, it was so tight I scratched the side of my car. This would be a great hotel to stay if you didn’t have a car.

Average hotel, in need of modern renovations. One of two elevators broken for 11 floors of guests was incredibly frustrating. Lack of pantry/market area. Older heat/cooling in room with no wall thermostat control. Tiny bathroom. Breakfast area was nice, location excellent to sightseeing. Cheapest hotel parking in area on property below hotel, gated access was a bonus.

The parking at this hotel is horrendous! I was driving a large SUV and had an extremely difficult time navigating all of the poles in the basement. This hotel would be okay to stay if you plan on taking an Uber every where. Which is what we did.

Worse hotel parking experience I have ever had...could not get into any parking spots without maneuvering back and forth several times. Comfort Inn gives you a parking permit disclaimer for "parking at your own risk" and yes its risky!! Would not recommend any large vehicle or SUV parking inside this garage. No disability ramps from parking garage to Lobby. Bathroom space and privacy in the area is limited. Positives are comfortable beds/pillows, breakfast and location...15-minute walk to Fishermans Wharf.

V comfy bed, would sleep in again. Nothing fancy but would return to this hotel. Parking was very expensive and the parking garage was comically tiny and hard to navigate. Hotel location was good. Front desk staff was nice. Included breakfast was decent. Elevator was so incredibly slow it was more efficient to take the seven flights of stairs.

When we arrived the parking was horrible. Car garage is tiny. The shower had no curtain. We stayed for 4 days and not once was the cleaning service offered. When we wanted more towels we had to request them from the front desk. Then when we departed there were two cars blocking a passageway. Then to leave as previosly mentioned it took.me 20 minutes to maneuver my way out of the parking lot almost hitting the wall and squeezing by another vehicle. Will never stay there again

Good location, easy access to public transport, "safe" area. Accomodation standard for american hotels, like poor water pressure, noisy Air Conditioning, but it worked properly. Room was clean - you classical former-guest-hair to be found on the sheets and in the shower as usual. Breakfast was ok, no fancy coffee, but fresh fruit, waffle station, toaster oven and microwave available.

Stayed here for a weekend trip and it was lovely. Great price and amazing location but I do have a few notes. The parking structure is a little confusing and our room wasn’t the cleanest (a toy from a previous family left below the bed, stains on bed sheets, windowsill dirt) but seems like a cleaning staff issue and not a hotel issue. Regardless, Can’t wait to stay here again, it’s our go to now! And free breakfast is always a nice touch. Awesome front desk staff too.

Awesome location.But only one elevator was working and we had to use the stairs all the time.Also there was trash under one chair in the room and hairs in the bathtub.

Really great location and very friendly staff. The parking situation is tight and I believe I took a 15 point turn to get into the unloading spot. The room is nice, stained carpet but otherwise good. There is NO FRIDGE! I have never stayed in a hotel room that did not have a fridge or microwave. I don’t know how I missed that. It was a big bummer and we wasted a lot of food on a long road trip.

The property is extremely outdated. It’s not very clean and it’s not well maintained. Breakfast had no eggs, was just lacking in general. We ultimately decided to eat breakfast elsewhere. Next time I’ll pay more but go to a better hotel. The only plus was location and the view, but the windows were pretty dirty. Location is great though, and the area is safe at night.

Location is amazing...walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiarardelli Square, Pier 39, etc. Not a bad neighborhood. Hotel is definitely older and not updated in any way, but if you want a good value, comfortable bed and clean room, it was pretty great. Free breakfast was good with hot and cold options...could use more seating for the size of the hotel, but we just took ours up to our room. Overall, great.

Room was pretty dirty especially in the bathroom which was gross. Stains on the walls and hair in the shower. Plus it had a weird musty and dusty smell like no one had been there in a while. Definitely not a clean feeling in there…

The rooms were great. The shower and towels were plenty. Beds were comfy. The only drawback was all the noise from the street from the motorbikes that were going back and forth. I guess the guys thought it was cool . We were on the 10th floor.! But other then that the hotel was wonderful.

The hotel is in a good location, near restaurants and stores. Our room was clean and they served a good breakfast. I love that checkout is at 12pm . Downside for me was parking is charged separately $35 which i thought was pretty expensive. Also, there is no refrigerator in the room and the bed was stiff and uncomfortable.

The room was small overall, but the bathroom was the worst, very claustrophobic, poor light in the sink area, hard to fit our wheel chair in room. it was easy to walk down the hill to Fishermans Wharf and it was close to a meeting point for the Big Bus tour. I upgraded to a room with a view, not sure that it was worth it, barely a view. The breakfast was very decent, that was good, tasty had variety, opened like at 7am and closed at 9:30 am, the previous hotel I stayed at served from 6am - 10am. So if you dont get down there, you are out of luck.

This was our first trip to San Francisco and took a chance when booking our stay at Comfort Inn. It ended up being a great choice. It was clean and conveniently located near so many sites. We were close to Fisherman’s Warf and Ghirardelli Square and could easily walk to both. We were located on the street side of the hotel, so street traffic was a little noisy, but it was a great hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to San Francisco. Also, Jean at the front desk was super friendly and helpful.

Great location for us. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was clutch - filled everyone up before exploring the city. Beds were comfy. Bathroom is super small but functional. It was busy - loads of overseas visitors. All in all, I would stay there again with kids.

For a hotel in San Francisco close to Fishermans wharf, which was only a mile away it was easily in walking distance was super affordable. My sister and I spent a whole week in San Francisco, and the hotel staff was extremely nice, and also helpful. The room was nice. I do wish they had a microwave and a refrigerator, but the beds were super comfortable. There were some small restaurants close by and coffee shops, which made it nice. Their breakfast was OK, it was nice to have a hot breakfast, I just wish there was more to choose from. If I ever come back to San Francisco, I am definitely going to be staying at this hotel. It was affordable close to everything and comfortable. It was also right down the street from Lombard Lane, which we all know how famous that is.

From check in to check out, what a wonderful experience. Excellent customer service. We asked for coffee and it wasn’t available as they were preparing breakfast. The employee offered to get a coffee from Starbucks if we didn’t want to wait. Thank you for making our stay excellent

The staff is the number 1 selling point for this property. They are all terrific, friendly, and interact with you. The room was clean and comfortable. One thing to consider, parking is VERY tight, so large suv's will have a challenge parking in the underground lot.

We got there around 3:15 and asked if a room was ready. The woman behind the desk was very rude. While we were sitting in the lobby waiting three other people checked in with no problems. I went to the guy this time who checked us right in. He was helpful, polite and friendly unlike the first woman. The room was basic but clean. It is on a busy intersection. There was a few homeless people but nothing crazy.

Location wise this hotel is in a good location close to Fishermans Wharf and has great views! Breakfast option is good. However it is let down by rude and unhelpful staff both during and after our stay. We left our passports, cash and a laptop in a safe in the room, it took us several phone calls to arrange to get the items recovered from the locked safe and forwarded on to us, but when the package arrived, the cash was missing. Despite promises from the General Manager to contact us we have not heard from him, emails are being ignored. Very disappointed.

I can't say enough about the excellent customer service. I want to recognize Lilibeth, Jean, and Jonathan especially. We checked out at 4:00 AM on May 16th and rode a taxi to SFO. Upon arrival, we discovered that our plane had been delayed until 10 PM. We returned to hotel, where we were readmitted to our room. Checking out at 11 AM, the hotel stored our luggage until it was time to return to the airport. You guys are the best!

I booked this hotel for my son. It is convenient to where we live, great access to public transit, clean and in a great area of the city. The problem was that the people in the room next door had very loud sex, over and over and over again. The hotel staff was not responsive to my son's request for a different room, or notifying the couple in the adjacent room. This kept them awake and night, and woke them early in the morning. It was handled very poorly and diminished my son's visit.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s on the corner of Van Ness & Lombard. I had a room with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge & the Bay on the 4th floor. I paid $30 tax for parking per day (which was much cheaper than any other places in the area). My only complaints with parking was the parking was tight, (but it’s expected in San Fran), and there was no elevator in the parking structure; I had to lug my luggage up/down the stairs to get to the elevator on the parking level just below the lobby. If you prefer using public transportation, Uber and Lyft are very convenient using their mobile apps and they p/u right outside the hotel. This hotel isn’t soundproof, after all you’re in a big city and the walls are thin, but I didn’t have any trouble sleeping here. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great (eggs, bacon, waffles, muffins, fruit, coffee and juices). I’d definitely stay here again.

Had a Family Wedding to attend. The hotel was in an excellent location, close to the church of the wedding. Also, had time to go to the Warf. The hotel was just minutes away for a beautiful walk. The location was really nice and had a beautiful view of the water and the Golden Gate Bridge!! will return to this hotel. The parking was kinda backwards, $30 a night, but worth it, to keep your car off the streets.

It was clean, safe and comfortable. Not a huge fan of parking garage- so small and hard to maneuver in. It’s nice they offer free breakfast but I wasn’t a fan about items offered and we were not able to access much due to the overwhelming amount of people in the dining area lined up. Really nice hotel in a good area for SF. We had a view to the golden gate wich was very nice. Room was large and very clean. The hotel was very busy and we had to wait quite a bit to get a seat for breakfast. Parking is 30$ pr day, and is very tight!

Great location and you can see the Gold Gate Bridge from the room. Within walk range to the pier. We stayed around 7/4 holiday. The only draw back is the breakfast area is small and finding a seat during the last hour can be challenging.

Didn't get a chance to enjoy the breakfast as it was over run with guests. And then staff did not replenish the options. I think they were genuinely overwhelmed so no big deal. Also no real dinner / breakfast options in the immediate area.
