Definitely a great location, lots to do within walking distance and transit is very close by. The property is a bit more dated than it seems by the pictures, rooms were comfortable and clean but a bit rough around the edges. Hard to justify the destination fee. Wifi is open and spotty, many games weren’t working fully (broken foosball table pieces with dead spots, no salt on the shuffleboard, bean bags had seen better days, photo booth is an additional cost) and the outdoor seating could use a good clean. The hotel is connected to a restaurant which means people not staying at the hotel were coming in to use the games and amenities, which were hard to get a spot on to begin with. S’mores kits are a fun touch but would be better over real fires, and they’re creating a lot of unnecessary waste with the individual packaging. Overall, worth it for the location, but the amenities don’t justify the costs. If you like various types of seating, this will be the place for you.

The game room at hotel zephyr was amazing. My kids looked forward to coming back to the e hotel and playing pool, ping pong, corn hole and foosball and making s'mores each night.

The hotel was the perfect spot for an annual girls' weekend, where we found ourselves gathering around the fire pits, ideal for catching up and not feeling like we had to sit in a restaurant or bar to spend that quality time together. The rooms were clean and had the right accommodations. Two things I wish they would address: 1) Self-parking was expensive - it was even more than was advertised online. We didn't want to drive around to find alternative parking, and since street parking is permitted (for 2 hours), we felt stuck. 2) They charge for early check-in if your room is ready early. We were not asking for expedited room availability, which I could understand charging a fee for so that is why I didn't give five stars. What happens is that the line for check-in at 4 pm is long, which is not a great customer service experience. They could make it easier on their team and provide a better guest experience if when a guest's room is ready after 2 or 3 pm, they allow them to check-in with no fee.

A reimagined former Radisson. Family friendly, efficient and friendly front desk service. Very speedy repair service for the room safe. If you want to be near Pier 39 or Fisherman's Wharf or any of the piers where the popular routes are, the Zephyr is right there. Make note that there is an additional $30 charge for amenities whether you use them or not. Parking is $64 per day and includes in- out privileges.

Hotel rooms were very small for a family of 4. Thank goodness for the balcony. Bedding was not as advertised on website. Plan to pay an additional $30 per day for "smores" and courtyard even if you don't want to do them or use the courtyard. Also parking was $64/day. comparable to the parking in the area and seemed secure. Be sure and account for these extra daily charges when budgeting for your stay. Outdoor firepits are shut off at 10:00 pm even if patio if full of people. Room did not have microwave but did have a small fridge. Overall the hotel was a good experience (not amazing) and probably what others in the are offered. Would be great for kids. Great location. Friendly staff.

Vibes were great, loved the game room and fire pits. Walking distance to pier 39 and similar attractions was great. Wish there were more dining/snack options inside the hotel that were a bit more affordable though. There is an ihop, Starbucks and 7/11 plus a restaurant within the block, but late night soda/drinks/snacks were not as easy to find without leaving. Room had a few faults, but was clean enough. Parking was WAY overpriced.. $65 a night. Use spot hero.. we got an in and out lot up the block for $75 all 3 nights

Cute hotel. Great location. They have a $30/night amenity fee, but no matter the length of your stay, they charge you for certain amenities if you want them more than once. Loved the s’mores, they should have been included for every night. None of the water bottle refill stations and half of the ice makers did not work on our floor. I would never complain about such things, but when the hotel makes a point that they are charging an extra fee for their amenities, things should work!

Building is a little bit old, but clean. Theme of the hotel was unique. Game room and courtyard was a good place to hangout with friends. Dining options was great and walkable to piers. Easy access to public transportation too! Highly recommended.

Location was great, but the room was not kept up to par cleanliness-wise. Room also looked nothing like the pictures on the site. Sheets smelled used, shower and sink water pressure was very weak. Could barely wash my hair! No ice on our floor, no coffee in hotel. We were happy to see all the games and outdoor firepits, but had no idea that they would tack $30 per night to our bill for these "amenities"? I booked a room for $188.25 per night, and with $60 per day parking... but my entire bill - was 987.48. Seems very high for what i got.

The balcony view was ok.... however it wasnt the best view! Staff where very rude.. especially the guy who was supposed to help with suitcases etc.... huffing and puffing for doin his job! Parking was confusing and over priced and no clear instructions to get out of car park as everywhere u needed a hotel key... so if u turned up earlier than 4pm... u were screwed. Rooms full of black mould and small double beds so really not enough bed room for 4 people.... awful sleep. Hotel surroundings full of homeless and junkies!!! Over priced and be aware that each night you are charged $30 for "complimentary " wifi and smore kit ... wifi crap and smore kit was minimal....tiny piece of chocolate... smashed up graham cracker and 2 small marshmallows. Would highly recommended staying further away as your literally only paying a premium for area in pier 39. . Beds cracked and broken and warn out.... they paint the bath cracks so when ur having a bath... pieces of paint are floating aroung.... no microwave and small fridge.. really disappointed.... cleaners pleasent enough but main check in and porter... extremely rude!!! Especially when u ask to leave suitcases.... 2 main lifts... 1 always broken (which isnt good when u of my family cant do stairs due to disabilities and we are on top floor!) Also games room out of order for 24 hours due to "private event" they care more about tips and money than the actual service they are supposed to provide

The property is not well maintained and it seems to be in less than average condition. The corridors smelled bad and they were filthy. The bedroom had clean linens but the carpet also looked and felt dirty. The elevator felt poorly maintained also as it had a some kind of a mechanical problem. The hotel is conveniently located to access Pier 39, but it was very noisy. I would not recommend this hotel only for the sake of being so close to Pier 39. There are other options close by that seemed much better.

Hotel seems dated and kind of worn down and the bathroom cleanliness was not good. There were spots of black mold in tile grout for the bath tub. There were also chunks of grout missing in between the tiles. The room was OK. the air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. The carpet in the room could also use a deep clean. The balcony is nothing special: you get a partial view of the Fisherman’s Wharf (from the 3rd floor) and the big Ferris wheel. Hotel staff was very friendly and professional, however. The mini fridge kept my drinks cool. Overall, the location is great and the staff is friendly. But the bathroom killed the vibe for me due to the mold.

!!COCKROACHES BEWARE!! Found several cockroaches in my room on the second and last night of my trip including in the bed. They also infested my luggage and emerged when I began to unpack back at my home. After alerting the hotel, they responded by refunding the resort free of roughly $70. With this refund, paying about $150/night for a cockroach infested room is not something I would do again.

This property is very well located and great for families with lots of games in the courtyard. The room was small - room enough for 2 full beds and nothing else - no chair or seating. We had a balcony, but it was in the shade and generally too cold to enjoy beyond the partial bay view. The bathroom was a little dated and the toilet didn’t flush easily. Not what you would expect for $450/night, but there were a lot of events in town this weekend and many hotels were sold out. For the location, this was the best property available.

My room was so cold and I was unable to turn on any heat. There was also not any water pressure. The s’mores package was fun and the game room and lobby hangout area was really great. Spent most of my time at the hotel here.

Staff was nice but i asked for a room with an ocean view 2 months in advance and got a room with absolutely no view. I was kind of disappointed since i booked in advance and wento for my birthday. Also, ac did not work, kepg shutting off and when itnwpuld work the air was not cold.

The hotel is ok; it was designed for the "cool factor". The public spaces have a lot of amenities like ping pong table and pool table and other games, which is really nice. But I couldn't find a coffee anywhere in the lobby. They had a Keurig in the room but most hotels have free coffee or a place to buy coffee in or near the lobby. The room was fairly large, the bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathroom had mold and smelled of chlorine; the water in the sink did not get hot (it was tepid at best) and the shower drain was very slow (ankle deep by end of shower but drained before the next one). Parking is $15 per hour or $65 per day, which in this touristy area was probably a fair price for in and out services. I arrived one hour before check-in, and they charged me $25 for an "early check-in". That is frustrating because it's just a money grab. I also found the front desk staff to be indifferent or even cold every interaction. An exception is the cleaning staff who greeted me every time I walked past one of their carts. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again, there are other options that are in better shape and have better "hotel amenities". If you're a family with kids or an influencer who prioritizes taking pics by a smores fire at your hotel, then this place is fine for you though.

Great location! Even though our room was ready, they wanted to charge us $40 to get in early at 3 pm instead of 4. I’ve been to large chains and have never had this issue. If it’s ready, what’s the big deal?! Room could use a little love and paint. One elevator was down so only one working.. and it was extremely slow. Concierge was great as was bell guy. Front desk was cordial but not what I’d consider friendly. For the price, overall, a good stay.

They hotel is great. Located near most of the major attractions and to transportation. The room with balcony and view is definitely a great choice. An IHOP on the same street is very convenient. They only thing that I didn't like was that I arrived early, the room was ready, But they told me that if I wanted to get my room at that moment I had to pay a $75.00 USD Fee. Bad customer service. Front desk staff is not very friendly.

Pros: Great location, clean room, balcony was a nice touch, and parking was safe and convenient. Cons: Beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep, and we almost left after the first night. The front desk staff was rude when I called to ask a question. During our stay, security unnecessarily approached my husband in the lobby and asked him to leave—assuming he wasn’t a guest based on his appearance. That was infuriating. The coffee maker in the room was filthy and disgusting. Additionally, the $75 daily amenity fee is excessive and should be disclosed at booking. The area was also very noisy, with loud music until 3 a.m. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Great location just in front of Pier 39. The rooms are quiet basic but OK, the facilities of the hotel are great to stay together outside and in the playing room. The hotel has private parking at 75$ per night. You have many options of public transportation (including cable car) at a very short walking distance.

This was a great hotel with fun games for the kids. The rooms was nice but the beds were a bit small. It would have been great to have a coffee shop in the hotel or coffee service in the lobby. Otherwise this was a great place to stay.

Location Location Location. Hotel is right in the mix of Fisherman’s wharf and steps away from the F train to take you down to The Ferry building and over into Union Square. The hotel is large so rooms can be a jaunt from elevators and hallways were dark. On-site parking was good but get there early. Room was small but clean. It could have used some repairs to wallpaper and shower. The outdoor area was large with plenty of seating and free s’more kits to use at fire pits. Coffee shop was never open. Bed was just OK. Had an issue with shower, valve hard to open, and they sent someone right up.
