If you are in SF with your own car, this place is the answer. Excellent on-premises garage with 24 hour in-out access. Really, I chose this place for the garage, but everything else turns out to be fantastic, too. Comfy bed. Great views. Quiet, clean rooms. Excellent customer service. Good location. Especially when I need the garage, I never shop around—I just instantly re-book right here.

Clean rooms, and I got the parking package which made it really easy for me. Convenient location and near by transportation and food. Friendly staff and I love that they have hand soap and lotion in the rooms. It was a bit annoying to have the water station only located inside the gym and to have the lobby bathroom to be hotel guest only. The moment I check out I couldn't use the bathroom or get water. But overall it was a great stay!

My husband and I went for 3 night. We loved that the hotel is right next to the cable car that will take you through Chinatown all the way to fisherman’s wharf. The pool closes really early so that sucks and the outside lounge area also closes early 8pm. Our room was right next to the electrical room which we did not like. The room itself was spacious and clean. We parked on the 5th floor underneath a rusted bar and needed up breaking and there was metal pieces on top on our car but the maintenance man was helpful and watered it down for it to avoid scratches. Overall we really enjoyed the location because it gave us access to see a lot from where we started.

Hotel was good for the price. Stayed here for the rooftop pool for our kids but it was too cold. They didn't even want to go in it. Also, the pool area could use some updates. View from our floor (20th) was amazing. Restaurant was meh.

Start with good: 1. Location very easy access to the main attractions. 2. View from the 10th floor was great. 3. Bed was for once old enough not to feel like a concrete floor. But it was old.... Now the bad: The carpet crunched and was super stained. Replace please, or do concrete / tile. Gross and disgusting. 2. The bathroom sink stunk of sewage. We reported it twice and got perfume sprayed, but not fixed. Finally plugged the drain and overflow to stop the stench. Fix it please. It doesn't take much to remove trap and clean. When told of some need, don't send perfume spray instead. Asthma is real. Gross. 3. Parking in SF is a glorious money scam so cost of parking is at least a room price. Plan 25% additional cost for that everywhere and here. Plus, parking spots teeny even for our compact car. 4. Not in the least disabled friendly. Parking spots few and not laid out for wheelchairs. Rooms not spacious enough to turn around in a walker even. We handicapped people travel and spend money too. Be more mindful and fix that. 5. Price for breakfast a joke. Don't spend 40 bucks a person for a buffet of bad food. No microwave in rooms so you will fork over for breakfast. A good bagel place is a few businesses away. Don't pretend the crappy coffee is worth what they charged. Go to coffee places nearby We will try for a different hotel if we ever get back to SF. Just too old, dated, and ignored by staff to fix broken things like sewage sinks.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, but our towels had some questionable stains on them. Beds were super comfortable, and our view was great. My main complaint was with the hot water. It would only stay hot enough for one quick shower, so we had to time our showers more than an hour apart. Forget taking a bath, you'd get a couple of inches of water in the tub before it would run cold. One important thing to note about this location is that it is just one street over from the Tenderloin neighborhood. If you're not familiar with Tenderloin in San Francisco, google it. Literally one street over, the hotel is right on the border. So map out your route if you plan on exploring.

I found a bug on my mattress the very first night. I called the concierge, and they changed my room to a twin bedroom. I thought it was going to be temporary, but they didn’t change the room (my initial room was a king-size bed). I asked for room service and cleaning once during my stay, but they only changed the dirty towels, the bed was fixed but the sheets were the same ones. The coffee maker in the room was faulty and every other time we had to filled the water more than what we had to and empty the water for no reason. This was a horrible experience with the Holidays Inn. I’ve been to other Holidays places and defiantly won't suggest this place at all.

Right at 12 o’clock after nine hours flight check in the Room stink like a dog I have a meeting at 7 o’clock in the morning. No time for complain. Being so tired. Need to go to bed. Get up early. I complain the next day when I arrive from my meeting. The Room was nice and clean, but it’s still smelly. So I went to the store and got car refreshment, and I help a lot After my complaint to keep the Room nice and clean parking. Not free at all $45 a day walking to your room from the parking get a couple stair downs disgust in Thirty de Neve Cliend, the stairs, Walking to your car. At that point. I didn’t know the City. I have a hard time finding a good Hotel And I have a meeting every day. $45 parking every day. I’ve spent $400 in parking beside my bill. Hotel need to get free parking into the guest. That was ridiculous.

Front desk customer service was not good. They were very uninformative and vauge. The Mangaer was rude. The room did not feel clean, toliet paper roll on the bathroom flor, makeup on the "clean" towels, mold and hairs on the handycap pull down chair inthe shower.

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly. The location was good to get around to local tourist attractions. A great coffee ahop just around the corner and other places to dine within walking distant. The local bus transit was a couple block either direction. I was disappointed that they stuck us in a room right by the elevators, so we had the noise of that and our room was exceptionally small. They weren't full, I'm sure they had other rooms available.

Our room was situated next door to the elevators. Could hear their constant background whir. The room itself was small. Super low ceiling hallway to enter sleeping area with more normal height ceiling one entered. Room itself was adequately clean—not impeccable. Had requested view—was on 22nd floor and had city view which was pleasant. Hotel had easy walking access to shopping and dining. Walked to a couple good restaurants. Would consider returning if staying in SF again.

WiFi is very slow. Includes a very expensive daily charge for faster wifi which is silly in this era. Vending machines in lobby have nice selection of toiletries and medications bit don’t seem to work. Saw someone else struggle with it as didn’t I.

I called and spoke to a staff member and explained that we were staying for our daughter’s stay at the children’s hospital for an important procedure and explained that an early check in would be extremely helpful for us. They said to call back the day of our stay so I did and the woman laughed over the phone at me saying it was too early and they were booked so nothing guaranteed. So rude and the worst customer service. Anything but hospitable. The doors were SO loud opening and closing all night sounding like they were in our room. The beds were uncomfortable and floors not clean. I got zero sleep. Would not recommend. Only the man at the desk was nice at check in.

I cannot emphasize enough the customer service and hospitality of this staff. I watched managers step in with rushes and friendly check-ins with guests if they appeared to be lost or looking for something. Found the rooms were clean and AC worked amazing! Parking is on-site and enclosed, so felt very safe with my car. Overall great stay for quick work trip

Front desk at check in was rude and not willing to help. I asked to switch rooms because I am a light sleeper and I didn’t want to be next to the elevators. She responded “we’re full”. No customer service skills at all. I am confident that if you book through Expedia and get a deal, the hotel will give you the worst room (by the elevator that is extremely noisy). This happened to me on 2 separate occasions. You can hear the elevator going up and down frequently. It is so loud that I could hear it even through my earplugs.

Upon arrival we were met with a $500 credit card hold. I travel for work around 15-20 times per year and have never ever been told I had to pay a $500 deposit for a room anywhere including other holiday inn's, sister IHG hotels, even at far more expensive hotels. It's kind of insane... Add-in an additional $49 per day for parking. Oh and if you need any packages delivered it's $3 per package (they don't even bring it to your room) and of course Amazon ships everything in separate boxes can add up really quick Otherwise it's a good location, clean rooms, okay beds, but their price and hidden fees and holds makes this location feel like they forgot they are a holiday inn and want to get JW or International rates

The location and easy parking were definitely a plus. However, we were extremely disappointed upon arrival. Despite booking our room months in advance, we were told at check-in that the room we reserved was no longer available and we were downgraded due to the hotel being “fully booked.” This is completely unacceptable. When a reservation is made well in advance, especially with a reputed hotel chain like IHG, guests should not be penalized for the hotel’s overbooking or poor management. We expected better standards and reliability.

I booked a 3 night stay with my two kids. The first night was great. However the second night was horrible. There was a couple fighting and screaming all night in the room next to us. We called front desk to let them know. The security came up to tell them to quiet down. That angered them and they were banging on the wall that connected to our room. We had to check out 4am and didn’t stay for the 3rd night. I was very disappointed that they didn’t help with our refund for the second and third night.

$35 for breakfast was ridiculous. Also, ridiculous was the area for a tip on the breakfast bill that was self-serve buffet style. A tip is paid for service, and if I’m serving myself, adding that on top of an already ridiculous price is patently stupid.

This hotel was perfect for my trip. It was clean, comfortable & easy to get around. While the location is not central to a lot of the touristy sights, there are many options to get around. It is far from Muni Train lines but plenty of buses, cabs (Waymo) or bikes in the area. The rooms are a little dated but it’s perfect for sleep. There is a mini fridge in the room & the hotel has a restaurant with a small bar. I did not use the pool but it does have one. I recommend the coffee shop around the corner; Juniper for breakfast. Lots of places around this hotel for food & drink. I never felt unsafe around this hotel including at night. Reasonable rates make this a great place to stay if visiting San Francisco.

Everything was great. Except when I was booking there was the options to choose parking, breakfast, and something else. Well I chose parking because I didn’t want to pay the 25$ a day only to find out breakfast was 35$ a person! We had to pay 80$ a day for breakfast. Had I know this I would have chose breakfast and paid the 25$ for parking a day. The 3 nights we stayed parking would have been 75$ vs 240$ for 3 days for 2 people… not cool

Honestly this experience blew my expectations out of the water. So many wonderful amenities, exceptional city view, roof top terrace and pool, fully equipped gym, and exceptional service and staff. Tom and I think Andrea went above and beyond to help us out at breakfast. I was so pleasantly surprised as these days it is very rare to find good service. The management is doing something right as everyone seems to like their job and is kind, happy, and polite.
