It takes forever to go from our floor to the lobby due to limited number of elevators. One time, it took us, without any luggage, 10 minutes and three "full, no room" to go from the 15th floor to lobby. That cost us to miss our UBER plus a $5 cancellation fee.

The hotel is located in the city center. However, the parking entrance signage is unclear, and closed entrances are not properly marked. I had to wait at the entrance for a long time and couldn’t reach any staff, so I had to get out of the car and walk to the lobby to ask for assistance. The parking fee is $50 per day. The room is small but very clean, though the interior facilities are somewhat outdated. There are many restaurants nearby within walking distance.

You get a room that's it, 0 amenities. 9.50$ for wifi if you aren't a Hilton member. Its 65.00 for parking every day. There is 1 dirty microwave for most of the guests to use. No snacks of any kind. If you like privacy good luck because the bathroom door doesn't realy shut all the way. Overall the room was clean except 1 small piece of tissue paper on the ground and a suspicious white stain on the furniture. Carpet looked newer but the exposed tackbord along the wall will wake you up if you step on it. As i took a deeper dive under the table/desk along the window there was an exposed wire that was just cut. I didn't test to see if it was live but probably isn't code. The elevators work but bang around like a Rollercoaster that's the first I've experienced something like that. The staff was for the most part unhelpful. The lady that actually checked me out was nice but the first lady i walked up to just gave me a look like i was disturbing her. Over all it was a horrible experience and I wont be going back.

The parking garage has very low ceilings. Had to park across the street. Parking at check in is very limited. The location, cleanliness, staff, and convenience is second to none. Other than parking I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

There were scrunch up tissues on the side of the bed and hair in the shower but other than that it was fine. We paid 206 plus 75 parking. We expected the cleanliness to be better with the price we paid.

Beautiful location. Linen was soiled to the point that I went to buy my own. The carpet was coming up, and the wall the encloed the air conditioning unit fail apart and separated during my stay. The bathroom is verrrrry small and cramped with a toilet rught in the middle of it. This doesn't feel like a Hilton property. Quality Inn/Comfort Inn at best. Not to mention almost $600 for two nights. Oh, abd don't venture out after 8 pm unless you're going right into a vehicle. The rats literally convened like humans.

I stayed in a king bed sized room. the room was pretty spacious, but the issue i had was the massive long countertop. it covered the AC and also blocked access to the window for viewing and pulling down the shades. just felt unnecessary to have something like that in a room and just wasted space. Another issue was regarding the staff. Not very friendly from the beginning and actually felt like an inconvenience the next morning when i called the front desk. I used the phone that was in the room. Trying to get a hold of the front desk at 8am took more than 3 minutes to ask a simple question about breakfast possibilities. First, she says rudely to me "i cannot hear you. you need to speak up." i speak up saying good morning, loudly. again, she repeats the same phrase. i replied saying it’s their phone. she says "lemme call you instead." The phone rings and i answer even louder for her to hear and she rudely says "ok that made no difference, what did you need help with?" I asked about breakfast and she says it’s not on my reservation to receive breakfast. i ask how can i add that to my reservation and she says i need to go downstairs and order food. On the phone dial, there’s an option for room service and she says to me that they don’t offer room service. and when i asked about the menu she again insisted that i need come downstairs and order my food a la carte. I don’t think i will be staying here again. The staff felt a little hostile and the room was weirdly put together.

Upon arrival we were given a room number on a floor that was under construction. The next room we were given was a room that was being used by someone else (photos attached). It was explained the room was checked outbof but this was at 10p so the room was either uncleaned all day or a lie to cover up. No one wanted to help the agent assisting us and no manager was available until near check out the following day. All they were able to do was waive our parking for the night before as help / apologies. This ruined my Wifes bday experience.

Please be mindful of sloppy accounting. I stayed at this hotel from the end of 2024 through the New Year in 2025. Overall, it was a nice hotel with a beautiful city view. However, some unfortunate issues arose. After returning home, I checked my credit card statement and found that the hotel had double-charged me $644 for my stay, even though I had already paid through Expedia. I contacted the hotel by phone and email, and they responded with an email containing a copy of my final receipt. Upon reviewing it, I also discovered an additional charge of $32.59 labeled "The Market," which was explained as a fee for breakfast or snacks at the lobby café—something I never consumed!!! Eventually, the hotel refunded the accommodation charge without any notice, but they never refunded the "The Market" fee. Despite sending them four emails, they have ignored my messages to this day. This raises concerns that the hotel may be engaging in unclear and disorganized accounting practices, making me question whether this is intentional. I suspect they may be deliberately exploiting foreign customers, taking advantage of geographical and language barriers that make it difficult to dispute overcharges, or relying on customer oversight to impose small, unnoticed fees. I strongly condemn such unethical and unprofessional business practices, and also condemn Expedia that kept ignoring for this matter.

There was a dog barking next door to us early in the evening which hotel staff told the owner she needed to come back to her room to tend to her dog. The room was quiet for a few hours and this happened once again at 11pm. Barking/crying from the dog next door. Woke me and my family up. I contacted the front desk to see what they are doing about it and they said they have to call security to check on the incident. The barking continues. I called back and asked if they can move me to another room. They said they were completely full and all the available room they had was one double bed room which will not fit my family. We were in a 2 double room. The staff said that she was sorry and that they would offer compensation (which she didn't state what that was I go to check out this morning and they knew nothing of the incident. l asked about what the compensation would be and the staff said that they can only comp breakfast or parking. Both which again did not apply to us. l asked if they can comp our stay and they said usually nothing we can do if reservations are booked through third party sites' and that they can't do anything until a manager comes in at 3pm. This is really disappointing that Hilton is unwilling to do anything about this terrible stay. We were not able to sleep well due to all the noise disturbance

Unfortunately my experience at the Hilton was not as pleasant as I hoped. The experience started poorly when I called to confirm my reservation. Prishami answered the call but incredibly rude and refused to confirm my reservation despite providing the correct credit card and personal identifying information. After check-in, which went smoothly the room was mostly clean but I did find short dark hair in the shower that I had to wash down the drain. The first night there we were woken up by our neighbors at 4 in the morning due to loud noises. We had to call the front desk twice before they knocked on the door. That night we were awake from 4-5 due to the loud noises despite the zero noise tolerance policy. When we went to discuss with the front desk, they told us they had no record of the our calls or the noise complaints.

The service was horrible, I had reserved 2 rooms and when I checked in they only gave me the key to 1 room I didnt realize until I got up to the room. I called the front desk to clarify , I gave the receptionist my info and she proceeded to say she had only 1 room under my name she then told me to go to the front desk to show my reservation info. As you can imagine I was already tired from travel I went down to the lobby and showed my info and she said the other room is not under your name thats why she couldn’t find it. Mind you the complete reservation was under my name but when I reserved it asked me who would be in the other room and I listed my mother's name. I told her oh well you asked for the reservation name so thats what I gave you, not the guest name. She proceeded to try to argue with me and I just did my best to keep my cool and stated okay well it must have been a miscommunication. Also they didn't have any parking for our vehicle since it was considered oversize. They literally only had 4 spots for oversized vehicles which I think is unacceptable. We had to park our truck across the way where it barely fit and the signs hit the top of our truck. We checked out and headed to the breakfast bar to purchase some breakfast items . We got 3 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees. It was 40$ the breakfast sandwiches were horrible they were stuck to the wrapping paper and cold in the middle, coffee was so bitter. Definitely do not recommend, so disappointing.

The location was the main reason we chose this Hilton. Parking was expensive (~$80). Dangerous after dark. Chinatown adjacent, so many restaurants near by. Best pizza a block over. Just lost job, so would chose less expensive accommodation if I were to do it over.

We had a great stay at the HIlton Hotel, Financial District. It was close enough to walk through Chinatown and Little Italy. We even walked to Pier 39. The hotel was great. Clean rooms, helpful and courteous staff. Excellent view of the Bay. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a great hotel right at the edge of Chinatown. A lot of main attractions were really close and walkable. I recently stayed as I did the SF marathon and the starting line is a quick 1 kilometer walk so super handy if you are looking for a hotel near the race.

Staff working in reception are very professional, polite and hospitable. However, one server in restaurant asked us why we did not tip after we tipped a few times in our previous visits to the restaurant. Property is clean, quiet and in a good location.

While the hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable, the overall experience was disappointing. The food was deplorable — the corn chowder tasted like canned vegetable soup with cream, served in a burnt, stale bread bowl. The burger I ordered the next night looked reheated and lacked any appeal. In a city known for its culinary excellence, this was a letdown. The windows were filthy, obscuring what could have been a stunning view of the bay and Coit Tower. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

I had only positive experiences with the hotel. It's in a good location, straddling both Chinatown and North Beach. Room was nice, cleaning staff did an excellent job, and there is a really nice coffee and breakfast bar in the lobby.

A very large hotel with surprisingly few amenities. We stayed 3 nights, but our room was only serviced on the first night. There was a considerable draft on the room at all times, so we had to run the heater. Bathroom smaller than other Hilton hotels. Pricey breakfast ($30/person), no indication what amenities were available on site. PROS: good location. We were able to walk everywhere and felt safe.

Great location, on the edges of Chinatown and the Financial District. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. You can leave bags after checkout at the concierge desk, which was very helpful for our group since we were not leaving until the evening. The facade was undergoing renovations, but it was being done without disruption to the hotel's operation, apart from some noise in the lobby area. We had no idea it was going on in our room. The views of the city and the Bay were amazing, and the rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained.

Our check-in process was smooth. Quick access to our room. The view was nice, and our room was clean. Our room was cleaned/beds made while we were there (unexpected given we were only there two nights - most hotels don't anymore). The construction was a little annoying, but we knew about it in advance, so not holding it against the hotel. We loved the location right next to Chinatown and easy access to the bus and cable car.

Nice place to stay room was clean bed slept well,but it was construction going on and a little noisy in the morning. My friend has a motorized chair and the battery died and the bellmen was so so nice and helpful to her he was the star of the show. First time in San Francisco Hilton made it a memorable trip.
