The property is conveniently located just a short walk from Union Square, making it a great base for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite dated, and the rooms show significant signs of wear. The room was a decent size, but it was overcrowded with furniture, making it feel cramped and limiting mobility. Removing some of the unnecessary furniture and mounting the TV on the wall would make the space feel much more open and functional. One notable inconvenience is that the property does not provide ice machines. Guests must walk down the street to Jack in the Box if they need ice, which is unexpected for a hotel. Upon arrival, our room had trash left behind by the previous guest, and the towels were damp. After we notified the front desk, the staff promptly addressed the issue by moving us to another room, which we appreciated. While the location is excellent and the staff was responsive, the property's age and overall condition detract from the experience. The hotel would benefit from renovations and updates to better meet guests' expectations.

It’s an old building with single pane glass windows from the mid 1900’s. The bathroom is extremely small but updated. If you can, get a room above the second floor. The noise outside and bright security lights made it impossible to get sleep. Not the hotel’s fault, just an unsavory neighborhood. The dealbreaker for me was waking up in the morning and seeing roaches watching me sleep from the nightstand.
