This motel is great. It is pet friendly for DOGS ONLY. Hotels.com you need to make sure you say in your discriptions what KIND of pet can stay at motel. This is very important!

Updated and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was unable to get a ground floor room, so I stayed with my dog on the third floor, no elevator. She didn't like the open stairs. The bed was too firm for my taste, but all in a pleasant stay. Very quiet.

The place is a construction zone with saws and hammers even on the weekend. Room was ok but DO NOT stay here if you have alternatives. Additionally the rate is a rip off given conditions at the property.

It was just fine really. Clean enough, a little out dated in every way possible but that's ok. However, a tad brutal being on the third floor and having no elevator. If I didn't have any luggage or at least had someone to help me out would have been not so rough. Not all that bad just to be warned. No elevator. It was just fine. Great for the price for sure. I know the other one in town that was even close to this price is not a place I would choose to stay. But, I would stay here again anytime. Absolutely. Spacious.Pet friendly too which is a plus.

Great place to crash after spending the day exploring the surrounding areas. They’re currently updating the rooms so it’ll be nice to see how they look. Clean rooms, nice staff, and it was really quiet the three nights that we were there. The only downside was we got in late Friday night and there was no parking, we had to park across the street.

As soon as I got to my room, I noticed medical trash and other debris on the floor. I called the front desk and a crew came up to clean it. Later I noticed hairs and dirt in the shower. The wifi never worked; neither did the tv, as it was connected to wifi. When I called the wifi support number, the rep asked me for my laptop's IP address. The water kept turning off while I was showering. There was no elevator and I had to drag my suitcase up a steep flight of cement stairs. I paid over $700 for two nights! It was graduation weekend and the only place I could afford. I ended up spending another $300 to move to another hotel the second night. The staff was nice and the coffee maker worked. They agreed to give me a refund for the second night, but that went back to expedia, who has not given it back to me.

We had a really late check in and so we called and the staff was great. We didn’t arrive until 2 am and unfortunately it had no 24 front desk agent and unfortunately when we got there our room was dirty. There was hair and black feet prints in the shower, the hot water kept turning on and off while we were showering. So every couple of seconds the water would just stop altogether and then it would eventually start flowing again. Altogether paying a pretty hefty fee to stay was unfortunate. The staff was very sweet and nice and gave us all the information to check in so late so I appreciate the front desk lady who helped us!

This property is the worst one I have stayed at in San Luis Obispo. The beds were uncomfortable, the furniture was falling apart and the bathtub had mold around it. You could use either the microwave or the fridge but not both due to the plugs and outlets, nothing a simple power strip wouldn’t fix.

Quick, Easy, and Comfortable Stay! Check-in was a breeze and the staff was super friendly. The room looked newly renovated—very clean and modern. It had everything we needed: a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV with streaming options, and reliable WiFi. Plenty of parking available. The location was perfect—just 5 minutes to Cal Poly and a few minutes to downtown. Great value for the price. No complaints at all—would definitely stay here again!

On my first night, the AC unit did not work properly, so it was uncomfortable all night. I spoke to the staf about the problem the next day, and they said they would try to reset it, and I suggested a new room. They did give me a new room in the end, My suggestion is if you book a room here check the AC first thing and make sure it is not an old push button unit. It only has cooling , and fan only. Need s both options to work at once. 2nd. No elevators, as far as i could tell, and not good for people with bad knees or handicapped. we were on the 3rd floor.

It was very unpleasant to arrive after 11:00 pm and my key (card) to open my room does not work, I went to the office and nobody answered, I was calling, ringing several times and no one answered, my husband and I were about to go to sleep in the car, after an hour and a half, a lady comes out of one of the rooms at the very back of the hotel, apologizing, but that shouldn't be the case, someone always has to be in the office. My card had worked perfectly the night before.

It was ok. I felt a little unsafe at times in the parking lot areas. The bathroom shower could have been cleaner in my opinion. The location was great though if you are trying to stay near the college. The beds were comfortable & the room was pretty good size!

We have stayed at this property several times and it is consistently clean and quiet. It’s down the street from Cal Poly where my child lives on campus so it’s very convenient. There are a few restaurants within walking distance as well. The downtown area is only a couple miles away off the same street. Great location and place to stay!

Great stay! Leanna (not sure if spelling) was so friendly and helpful. Offered us a coupon for two drinks at a restaurant in a one minute walking distance from the hotel. Also referred us to the Apple Farm Restaurant for breakfast. Which was absolutely fantastic and had a bakery inside for which we bought a scone for the road. Such a lovely town and gorgeous weather, nice breeze and warm but not hot. We’ll be back.

The hostess was friendly and helpful. However, there was no coffee nor any breakfast in the lobby--machines out of order. Strange odor in the ADA accessible room--not to mention marijuana fumes from the outside area wafting through the screen. We did not need the wheelchair-accessible bathroom door, but if we had, it would have been a nightmare since it opened the wrong way. Ice machine very difficult to locate. Parking barely adequate and very tight. This room might have been acceptable at $85 per night, but way overpriced at $200-plus.
