Best Western Plus Royal Oak Hotel

The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Anthony was mindful of any requests we might have and also reminded us of the evening popcorn, cookies, and beverage in the lobby. Rosalina was courteous and helpful during breakfast services, and we had great conversations with her. I'm really happy we got to stay at this location and explore SLO.

Great hotel great staff. The only thing is it’s limited on parking.

Excellent customer service. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast was amazing. We were surprised it was in its own separate building next door. The food options were better than other hotels. Biscuits and gravy, cheese omelettes, and waffles. The hotel is also within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the Madonna Inn.

warm and friendly staff welcomed us and got us checked in quickly. There were cookies and coffee in the lobby. our room seemed clean but very small. the microwave was a welcome addition I didn’t expect. no view but didnt need one. great pool and hot tub. included buffet style breakfast was fine. the waffle station was a a highlight for my son. the wifi was kind of slow and would cut out kind of frequently it wasnt useful for my purposes. but it was fine for streaming services.
