Nice hotel, but the A/C wasn't working and it couldn't be fixed. We also had to ask multiple times for more towels. Unfortunately, there's no hot tub here. Pros: Happy Hour and breakfast.

This hotel was great! We loved the pool, gym (new equipment and treadmills that face an open window with a nice view), breakfast (especially the fresh fruit), customer service and cleanliness of the hotel. The pool had lots of towels. There were swallows nesting above our room and we got to see them feed their babies! There seemed to be some plumbing issues. Our toilet did not flush properly and the pool deck drains were not draining well making the pool area slippery. We saw several children slip and fall. All said, we would love to return!

Appreciated the complimentary snacks and two drinks for the adults in the evening and breakfast for all in the morning. Disappointed pool was inoperable. One of the reasons I booked this Embassy Suites in San Rafael was so my grandsons would have an indoor pool to swim in. Gabe at the front desk when checking in was very nice.

When u checked in i was not told you have to pay to park in the property.The jacuzzi was freezing cold and the water kevel was very low.The batteries in the remote for the television did not work.A chair broke the minute i sat in it!

We had a wonderful stay, great place for kids of all ages. One of the elevators was out of service, so it was really congested and long wait times to get up and down from the 3rd floor. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but very obviously understaffed and stressed out. The rooms were still being cleaned when we checked in at 10pm on a Friday. Overall, we had a great stay. Hopefully the second elevator is fixed soon and they can hire more employees.

I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool and I wanted to unwind and swim after a stressful day. Checked in around 8 pm, went to the pool and it was cold. went in the hot tub and it was full of foam so felt dirty. I used the bathrooms in the pool area to change and they were filthy with mold on the ceiling and walls. And waste form the day\'s guests. Then I went to shower in my room and the water was luke warm. I called and asked for a new room because it was 9 pm and I was tired. They insisted on having an engineer come to the room. "It will only take 5 minutes". Then the engineer needs to get some tools. "Can I please transfer rooms?" "It will only take 5 minutes" to get the tools". 75 minutes later I was in a new room with hot water. The rooms are uncomfortably dark, even with all the lights on and if you want to sleep in the front room you can hear the extra loud music they play in the atrium/lobby areas. I was also way in the back by the kitchen with clanging pots and pans that can be heard in the front room of the suite ( I could not hear them in the bedroom). This used to be a beautiful hotel with a Koi pond and waterfall in the open atrium area. Now it is ugly and cheap looking. I will not stay here nor recommend this hotel again.

The halls outside of the rooms were dirty. We had plates piled up outside our room when we checked in. We asked several times to have them removed. The next morning my son delivered the plates to the front desk. In other areas of the hallway were dirty glasses and plates, garbage, towels.

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds, but instead they gave me 1 bed and a sofa bed in an ADA room (no one in my party was disabled). Fridge didn’t work and was dirty/smelly. Dead bugs on the ground. No linens for the sofa. I let the front desk know all of this, and showed pictures of the bugs & fridge. They refunded me $15 for the parking. It was a miserable stay and I wouldn’t stay there again.

It was okay for a one nighter. Pool are was dirty.dirty plates and cups everywhere, dirty towels everywhere, etc. Its like they hadn't come through and picked it up all day. Peoples room service dishes that were left outside thier doors werent picked up the whole time we were there. Sot here was just dirty dishes lying on the floor as your walking to your room. We walked by sane dirty dishes for a whole day. Bed comfortable. Suite good for large families. Room was clean and nice. Air conditioner made horrible noise that kept me up all night. It didnt even work well..we were all sweater no matter how low we turned it. Staff seemed uninterested but not terrible. Breakfast was fine, but stuff did come out later than start time. Overall fine..but not great

I was horrified with the room. There was someone else’s hair everywhere, the room was falling apart, dirty and the coffee creamer was spoiled. I was also disappointed that the noise from other rooms were heard from mine throughout the night.

Everything was great overall. Nice staff, comfortable rooms. Wished that the indoor pool was warmer. Also shower didn’t drain properly and saw some mold in the shower. But overall stay was nice!

Overall a pretty good stay, we stay with embassy suites often at several locations and have had a great overall experience. This embassy wasn't as good as all the others we have stayed. Staff was very friendly, and breakfast had good options and service. But the hotel itself has some issues as far cleanliness, and things not being in service. Definitely need to work on the cockroach issue..... Overall still give a 6 out of 10

The room was not clean, shower was dirty and dust and dirt around and behind the furniture. The worm was infested with brown roaches. Not likely due to the area, these were the kind that come with uncleanliness. Being a Hilton honors member this room was a disappointment.

The hotel was clean but had a number of snags: No stairs and very few lifts so a constant queue and wait to go up and down which seems ridiculous as we were only one floor up and could quite easliy walk up some stairs. The only stairs were fire escapes which all exited out into the care park and had no way back in other than to walk around the perimeter of the hotel and re-enter at the front. The reception staff seemed keen on keeping all interaction with customers to an absolute minimum. They recoiled when approached and gave monosyllabic answers to queries. The small refreshment shop at reception seemed to be poorly stocked and items were not restocked as they ran out so by Sunday there was slim pickings. The bar staff were much friendlier and perky. The room was poorly designed, the lighting was awful with only one lamp in the living space and a single pendant. Even with these on the space was gloomy and uncomfortable. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows lumpy and tired. No complimentary water and an unusable one-legged ironing board were the icing on the cake... Breakfast was basic but decent, however the buffet always seemed to have run out of at least one item which made it a bit of a lottery as to what you might get. Overall disappointing for the high price paid.

Embassy suites is a great place to get rest and have space. The breakfast is excellent and adds value. The beds are SUPER comfortable and the rooms are quiet. There are a few downsides for us. The hot tub is gone but the information on hotels.com says they have one. The pool is indoors and nice but WAY too cold to enjoy. We asked for it to be tirned up and were told no flatly. Also, the lighting in the room is VERY dim. No light at the vanity or a plug for hair styling. The living space is extremely dim and the fixtures are large, inefficient and weird looking. No soap or sponge for the sink, but there was a small fridge and microwave. Also, only one chair for the table, the other was small and low and only one end table next to the couch. The reataurant was way too expensive, like its trying to be fine dining, but the tables are asort of cafeteria vibe. There are plenty of great food options nearby though. One big negayve was 15 dollars a day for parking. Its out in an open area, didn't seem to have security and the cost felt completely unnecessary. All in all, it was an excellent stay for a decent price and good value. We may not stay again because of the cold pool and misisng hot tub though. Super bummed because the area is great and its 25 minutes to san francisco.

There was an excellent hot buffet and made-to-order omlette station for breakfast, which was included in the room rate. There was also a nightly reception with 2 free drinks per person in the atrium lobby bar area. Front desk staff was very friendly. Parking was easy and convenient, but cost $15 per night. The noise in the atrium can get a bit loud and heard from the rooms, which is unavoidable since all room are off of the atrium. The doors to the rooms slam shut, which is also very loud, especially to anyone sleeping in the pullout sofa in the front room.

Parking here was super easy, location is not near much but was convenient since we were visiting for business at the Marin County Civic Center. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails was a great touch! I would stay again if I had business in the Marin area.

The staff was absolutely amazing. We had a super late check in (3 am) because of a flight delay. They called to make sure we were still coming and were so easy to get checked in with. The continental breakfast was also the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 will definitely stay there again if I’m traveling tu the area.

I have been staying at this hotel for 25 years. I had just been driving for 10 hours and realized it was unsafe to keep driving and I was having a medical issue where I needed a shower asap and rest, so I made the reservation via Expedia at 3. Arrived at 4pm and didn’t get my room until nearly 5pm. Staff was so rude and slow. I told them I needed to get to my room asap due to personal medical issue and they were unresponsive, rude, and painfully slow at getting me my room. Then I got there and there was no tub, which I had requested for said medical issue. Took them 10 minutes to move me. Then I got locked out this morning and took another 10 minutes to get someone to even acknowledge me. Get better staff!!! Train them to be human and compassionate. I will never stay here again. It was the opposite of what I needed after driving for 10 Hours straight and being sick. I missed breakfast due to slow nature of getting me back into my room and then the coffee machine was out.

I arrived and asked to check in - with no greeting, the front desk worker just said “ID and card used online. The front desk hotel staff we encountered were not very hospitable. No smile from Liam, he really hated his job. No liquid soap in the shower. Remote control batteries were dead. Spider in the room. Rude housemaid whom knocked on our door 1 hour before checkout to ask us when we were leaving; I've never experienced that before. The female who helped us at the in-hotel restaurant was pleasant. But the young male whom delivered the food, again very unpleasant no smile, hated his job. Great view looking out our room window, but the bird sh*t on it ruined it all. We will never be staying at this hotel again.

I like this hotel because it’s a nice facility but it’s in an inconvenient location which is motivating me to try something closer to town. I wanted to have some lunch when I got there and I couldn’t walk anywhere and the hotel restaurant wasn’t open so I ended up having to take an uber to downtown.

I was disappointed with the breakfast and manager reception. It’s been a bit since my last ES stay and the pancakes were hard, the juice was watered down and the ‘cream cheese’ jalapeño popper omelette had a ‘cream’ sauce and tasted over cooked. The manager receptions food was poor. Still had two drinks comped so saving grace. Rooms were clean and staff were always kind and helpful They didn’t mention parking charge until I checked out telling me it was on the website. Tell me at check in please

Check in was a breeze! And there’s happy hour at the bar where we were entitled to a free drink. I was not able to go though because I had to prepare for our office party. The suite was huge and clean. The breakfast buffet had an omelette station. I’m already planning on returning.

Definitely a good stay! Pricey but worth that yummy breakfast in the morning. I didn’t get to indulge on the cocktail hour they had which I regretted. I would definitely stay there again. The room was so clean and the beds comfy. They just got to work on their pillow game but all in all very fine hotel.
