Nice property. Good value. Bathroom floor was a bit sticky. I let the staff know they needed to mop more thoroughly. Electric charging station did not have NACS plugs even though the website said it did.

Free onsite parking is a really nice perk. The pool, jacuzzi and outdoor courtyard are very nice. Despite being located near the 405 Freeway and a major street (Los Al Blvd), the hotel seemed safe and quiet. There are lots of shops/restaurants within walking distance or a short drive/Uber. I felt very safe staying here as a solo female traveler. There's almost over-security with having to use your key for almost all the doors on property (but not the elevators). I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Since 2018 I have stayed at Ayres Hotels up to 10 times a year. This is the first time I have experienced dirty towels, in fact multiple dirty towels. The lighting in the basin area and shower rooms have always been horrible. Cleanliness is always great and the beds and pillows are dreamy.

Hotel was great. Sheets were rough. Comforter had a blood stain. Tried to get a roll of toilet paper from front desk and housekeeping when we ran out with no luck. Finally found a housekeeper that would give us a roll. Other than those small things, we were very pleased with stay.

We were very pleased with the hotel overall especially the prepared breakfast. Re AC, we did have to change our room #303 as there was a continuous equipment hum, the maintenance and us determine it was from the roof possibly a condenser as it was all of the time. Staff nicely we changed us to a nice room on the 2nd floor. Nice & quiet!!! thank you!!

This is about 3rd time we uses this facility. But one thing a bomber is how loud the AC is. Wish they could fix that. But overall it was a perfect place fir us to stay how close we are to visit out family.

Check in was easy. The room was a bit dated, but seemed fairly clean. The bed was rather uncomfortable and sheets were scratchy. Water pressure was lacking in the shower and sink. It was nice that the window opened, but I couldn't keep it open and let air in because there was no screen and bugs were coming in. Breakfast was decent.

Convenient location right of the freeway. Great breakfast. Only thing is you can feeling the springs in the mattress coming through and it judt sinks all the way down. We had to lay on the sofa cushions to not feel the springs.

Check in is not until 4PM which is a problem for travellers who arrive earlier. I called the hotel several days before our scheduled arrival and asked for early check in at 2PM. I was told that would not be a problem. When I arrived, they indicated they had no rooms ready and I would need to wait. I waited in their lobby nearly 2 hours. When I checked with the front desk, they indicated the room was still not ready although is was now past 4PM. I pointed that out and they started calling housekeeping on the radio only to learn that several rooms they had in their system not ready were ready. The hotel staff should have asked housekeeping to get my room ready as soon as I showed up as they promised me early check in and they should be organized enough to know when rooms are being cleaned and can be released to guests. Instead, they did nothing to accomodate my needs while they watched be sit in their lobby for hours. In addition, the hotel has no restaurant or bar and the pool is pretty dinky. Finally, they are located right next to a major freeway that you do not see from any of the photos.

I felt welcomed. I am not used to it because of the way I look and they looked at me and treated me like a regular human being. Thank you so very much for that. I always make sure I make a big deal when other human beings are treating each other in a good way. The right way. Thank you again all 3 front desk ladies and even the guy that brought me my extra pillows I requested. Good shift.

From checking in to checking out, we had a fabulous stay. All the employees were clearly trained to tear the guests with kindness and respect and made us feel like we truly we appreciated and they wanted our stay to be as good as possible. The breakfast was delicious and the cook was just as genuine and pleasant as everyone else. I would suggest the pressure at the bathroom sinks, at least in room 239 gets corrected as it was poor, but not much else could be criticized. I look forward to staying at an Ayer’s Hotel again. Since moving from the area ten years ago, this hotel has become our go to place to stay when we visit. This visit was not good. After a long drive, we tried to check in at 3pm. It was the day after Valentine’s Day so we figured a lot of people probably checked out. We were told our room wasn’t ready. So we said ok and left. After dinner we came back to the hotel At 6:45 to check in and we were told our rooms were STILL not ready! Not ok! The women at the desk made a bunch of calls and about 15 minutes later told us they had rooms for us. Our rooms were next to one of the exit doors, mattresses were horrible used and the room was dingy. This hotel might need a little sprucing up. I think we’ll be staying down the street at the newer hotel from now on.

The staff was very polite and accommodating. It was quiet and had easy parking, although there wasn’t much around the hotel itself within walking distance. It is a short ride to Seal Beach and about half an hour from Huntington Beach. The complimentary breakfast was consistent and they had many options to choose from each morning. The hotel itself has such a cute style on the inside, and it even has a cute little courtyard with a fireplace near the pool/jacuzzi. I really loved the 24/7 self checkout convenience store on the first floor and the fact that there was laundry available. We didn’t use the pool or gym but it was nice that it was available. Overall a 9/10 stay. Would absolutely stay at this place again.

I work in customer service and can vouch that a smile goes a long way. I received none of that from the hotel check-in person. She was not very friendly, helpful, and was somewhat dismissive when I questioned the rate (Hotel rate not Hotels.com rate). Even though there was no one in line, she asked me to leave the desk area and check online rates somewhere else. She was neither helpful or friendly. I will probably use another hotel when I go back to Seal Beach.

This hotel is just fine. A bit noisy on the street side because it faces the freeway but the beds are comfortable and overall it’s clean and convenient. The pull out couches really aren’t very comfortable, though. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay.

Really enjoyed the location, which is right off the freeway. Plus there were several stores nearby. Parking was a little tight but there were plenty of spots open towards the back of the hotel. Highly recommend!

We loved the friendly staff. I really enjoyed having a real chef cooked breakfast. Rooms and facility are comfortable and make you feel like you're special. We've visited twice now from Idaho and look forward to returning again. P.s. Belinda & Jose work very hard to insure a great breakfast to start people's day out right.

Wonderful spot - clean with friendly service. Some updates need to be done, but they’ve done a good job keeping up. Stinky smell coming from sink drain, so maybe more regular maintenance is in order. Breakfast was great, although on the greasy side. A little more money put into the breakfast (keep water filled, better pastry options, higher quality ingredients) and it would be a perfect 10!
