Bed, linen and room were cleaned. A large parking lot is definitely a plus but after dinner hours we ended up almost parking elsewhere as it was full with construction truck. Continental breakfast was a small but definitely enough for us

Hotel was close to a lot of retail and food establishments. The room itself was small and dark. Bathroom needed some TLC ( cracks in walls, chipped tile and some mildew stains ) the carpet was in need over a deep clean or replacement. Beds were hard and stiff, WiFi was in n out all weekend. Walls are very thin and parking was a hassle after coming back later in the evening

Decent place for the night. Parking isn't so great, small lot and poor config. Looks like some people are living in the hotel, rooms packed full of stuff, hoarder status. Overall it was fine for a night. Clean room, friendly staff, easy access.

It is an economic motel. the location is convenient with Costco nearby. The room is small and has a kind of damp smell like old house smells. The free breakfast is good. The parking is free, with enough spaces in front of the building.

The bad - musty smell in the room; grout in the bath is old and stained; floors were dirty (I wiped the main floor with a wet towel and it turned dark brown); rooms are very small, badly lit and noisy; parking is dangerous, tight and overcrowded by 9pm; door clearly had been pried open in the past. We paid $504.00 for a filthy room (one inch thick dust, piles of crumbs in the corner, dirty floor) with broken fixtures (sink, shower curtain rod, toilet) and an unacceptable amount of noise from all sides.

I chose this hotel based on the name best western, I was really disappointed due to the fact,the matress in was horrible it sounded like the springs on the matress were coming out it made a lot of noise the walls and floors were dirty the air conditioning was so dusty I had really bad allergies I stained in room 115 with my family I will look into the reviews going forward for this awful experience that to happen to me again

The room was very clean. Fireplace was a nice addition and was very warm. All the needed amenities were available. Great and very convenient location and the property felt safe and was very well kept. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was super clean. My family and I stayed 3 nights and each morning the cleaning ladies came and cleaned our room and we’d come back from our busy days to a brand new room each time. Staff was amazing, spot was good and not too far from the main attractions or stores for last minute purchases

Very disappointed. My headboard had what look like human fecies dripping down my headboard. Room phone didnt work. Window frames are broken and really dirty. The blankets are not even blankets. Literal sheets! As well as pillow cases i thought the cases were the pillow. Towels i dont even want to get started. My soap in the shower had mens hair. All over it. Cleaning. Overall i do not recommend at all.

Don't waste your money here. I don't know how they managed to attach Best Western to their name, but it definitely doesn't meet the standards for any chain hotel I've stayed in. Dirty floors with floor boards coming apart, dirty and dusty walls, mildew and water damage in the bathroom. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything in the adjoining rooms. People were out smoking and drinking on the steps outside our room until close to midnight. If I hadn't prepaid for this room, we would have never stayed.

The motel unit itself was fine, relatively clean and modern. However, the soundproofing was non-existent. You could hear every noise from other guests (not being particularly loud - just moving around, chatting, watching TV, using the bathroom etc.) When people walked upstairs, the entire unit creaked loudly. We and our baby had a terrible night's sleep.

Heater does not work when temp will be 40⁰ tonight. Turns on after being set to 72⁰ and turns off in under 30 seconds of running. Will not turn back on unless thermostat remote is altered. Called Ftont Desk at 8:22 pm. No response. Left detailed message with cell #. No response. Front Desk hours are 8 am - 10 pm. Walked to Front Desk. Doors locked. Lights off. Inappropriately freezing!

The service at this hotel is exceptional. We stayed here last Summer as well, and our experience was even better this time around. The staff is very friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful. It’s by far the nicest, safest, and most affordable place to stay in Seaside. We’ll be back again next year.

Our toilet was clogged so it completely flooded the bathroom but the service was super nice and helpful and helped us immediately. So minus that the toilet even got clogged (we didn’t put anything except toilet paper in there) but the cleaning crew gets a big plus :)

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend .It was really close to the freeway and very convenient for our trip to Monterey Aquarium and Carmel .We were close enough to these places with out paying a lot for our hotel .The hotel wasn't cheap but a lot cheaper than staying at Carmel. I would say it's perfect just for sleeping but I did not like the city Sea Side it did not look very safe it looked a little old and dirty.

For the price it was well worth it, you’re right in the center of everything it felt like since driving down to Monterey was a 15 minute drive same thing as fisherman’s wharf and cannery row it was not all far, driving to Carmel was only like 20 minutes as well it was quiet which was surprising since it was on a pretty busy street and the room was clean. The only issue we faced was one of the lights in the bathroom was out and the light on our night stand kept flickering but we weren’t in the room all day just there to sleep and shower so it was perfect for those nights.

The tile floors were disgusting and obviously hadn’t been cleaned very well. They were gritty and horrible to walk on with bare feet. Breakfast was frozen eggos, toast, or cereal.

Free parking, clean room, safe area, 2nd bedroom had no a/c, beds were stiff, could hear all neighbors through the walls. breakfast was as bare bones as could be for continental- Eggo waffles, white toast, yogurt, and cereal were the only foods. The coffee was not good. It was decently priced and in close proximity to everything we wanted to do. Housekeeping did excellent job cleaning.

The room was perfect for our family's needs. The cleanliness of the bathroom was iffy. Everything else was clean. The continental breakfast could use more. They had thawed eggo waffles and slices of white bread. Yogurt and cereal as you food options.

Front desk and staff were nice, and the free breakfasts were a nice touch considering there isn't much dining options in the area. It could get a little crowded the 2nd hour, but going before the rush was a chill experience. Room smelled mildewy the entire time we were there despite tryingt o air it out, but overall, the sheets were clean, mattress was comfy, and the kitchenette area was useful. Shower was lukewarm at best and there was no hot water at the sink, which was a bummer. Overall, a good budget hotel if you get a good price and have low expectations. It's a little outside of downtown Monterey, so there were limited options as far as dining.

Room was nice and clean. However, terrible breakfast…broken coffee machine for my 2 day stay, miniature breakfast room with room for no more than 6 people because this is a motel advertised as a hotel and therefore breakfast room is in reception area which is small. Fridge did not work in other room we had. Breakfast eating would be at best a two. Lousy reception staff. This is not a Best Western quality at all!
