This motel was located close to the friends we were visiting and provided everything we needed, ie, the basics. Everything was clean and in working order. The room was on the small side, with not enough space for a comfortable chair (only 1 desk chair). The private, walled patio had sounded like a great amenity but it was useless because of traffic noise during the day and obnoxiously bright streetlights at night. The bed was comfortable and the shower & water pressure were good. The staff was friendly and helpful, with limited service. The neighborhood cafe adjacent to the property was surprisingly good, serving a truly excellent breakfast. Mainly, the SCI offers a welcome relief from the exorbitant prices charged by most other lodgings in the Sonoma area. If you just need a good place to sleep and don't care about "resort" amenities, then this is a great little spot.

Simple. Clean. Lots of Keurig K-cups (and the coffeemaker) in the room. Love that they keep costs down by not cleaning every day, but they provide anything you need at any time. Would stay again. Dropped a star because I was on the street side, and traffic was loud. Not really their fault, but they could have warned me.

This was our second stay. Everything was wonderful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Good parking, breakfast place around the corner. Quiet. Nice check in staff. There was no need for a highchair. It is possible that if needed and asked for, one might be available.

Great place to stay! Loved the 1930s California decor. Room very clean. Even though it's right by a busy street, at night it's very quiet - almost no cars going by. Dana at the front desk is a gem. I would have wished for a microwaves (there is a refrigerator) and another wall plug by the desk. But that's all.

Parking is ample, you are in walking distance to some of the best "off the Square" restaurants and phenomenal food trucks. Access to HWY 12 is close for you to head North or South to visit the Wineries that Sonoma is known for. The staff is very accommodating and helpful throughout your stay.

I can’t say enough good things about the Sonoma Creek Inn! It offers the perfect balance between reasonable price, comfort, location, and nice people. Just a couple of blocks from the Fairmont , it’s a adobe historical building modernized in all the right ways. Clean, with plush towels and nice bedding, and really good shower water pressure! The attached Creekside restaurant has really good food at reasonable prices. A Home Run all around if you aren’t looking for fancy/luxury.

Our room was adequate and a good value given the low price we paid midweek. However, there was a very strong ammonia-like smell when we arrived after hours. Had the office still been open, we would have requested a different room because it was so strong. We opened the window and turned on the ceiling fan which helped, but it did linger throughout the night. The area around the inn is fine, but it's not in the most desirable section of Sonoma. Also, the street behind the inn is quite busy so I expect that the rear patios could be noisy (we didn't have one).

Sonoma Creek Inn was just ok. Based on several factors I would not stay here again if I had any other options. While the staff was friendly and courteous, the property location and condition was less than desired. Upon entering the room an overwhelming aroma of bleach invades your nostrils allowing you to think of little else. “As least the room is clean,” my husband exclaimed. I wonder what was being cleaned up to require that much bleach…. The room was adequate but tired. The whole place needs a good remodel but with the proximity to a busy road, I wouldn’t bother. It’s simply impossible to sleep at this hotel. With the decrepit heat/ac unit firing on like a missile throughout the night, coupled with a car zooming past every 2 seconds, sleep is not an option. They do have small patio’s attached to each room, but the white washed concrete wall is more akin to a prison than a vacation space and with the the road noise and exhaust, there’s no way to use the space. The bed and pillows were also in dire need of a 2024 model designed for sleeping rather than torture. And lastly, there was no safety deadbolt on the exterior door, which we found to be unacceptable with the parking lot right out your door and the busy road just on the other side.

The room decor is of decades gone by. Having said that the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Our room had a small walled patio which was great to sit outside in the mornings and enjoy our coffee. We would return.

This is an older motel property 3-4 miles from the plaza in Sonoma. Management was super nice a friendly. Our room was clean. The king size bed was super comfortable. BUT, the motel is located 20 feet from a highly traveled road. There was so much road noise on the Friday night that we stayed, we didn’t use our outdoor patio and we got awoken a few times with cars playing their music super loud.

Cute, quaint, quiet, cozy, comfortable and clean. It was wonderful to enter a room that smelled fresh and without an overwhelming perfumery fragrance. We were in Unit 12 and even though our window faced the parking lot, it was very quiet. My husband thought the air conditioner/heater was a little noisy when it kicked on for a bit, but it didn’t bother me at all. Reception and staff is welcoming and informative and very nice The Creekside Cafe right around the corner is tiny hometown serving up an excellent breakfast.

I fully endorse the Sonoma Creek Inn. Whats makes small properties like this indispensable these days is the small property feel and personal service you receive. In the case of the SCI, it was Ruth; beginning with her calls to me on my arrival PM to ensure I would find my room key as a late arrival to our nice long talk about old Sonoma (as a native) and music on my departure day. A quick question upon check-in became a conversation about life and similar connections. Properties like the SCI invite these type of encounters, which makes the property memorable. The meory of my room will quickly fade but Ruth will not. She made my stay. Don't pass this place up!; it's also a GREAT value in an overpriced region. Tom O

Property was clean and the bed was comfortable: LIKE DIDN’T LIKE: staff hours are short (only until 6 PM) and my key card stopped working; luckily the front desk clerk was still on duty and let me in.

Customer service was amazing. Gave us clear instructions for late check in and easy check out. Cute little place with a comfortable bed. Very clean and cozy. Thin walls but a nice place to stay for a good price! Would come back

I had a great experience with Sonoma Creek Inn. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and very friendly. I left a sweater in the room and they called me immediately and arranged to have it mailed to me. All-in-all, I had a fantastic time!

This is a hidden gem in Sonoma that provides clean, comfortable rooms to it's guests. Parking is ample, you are in walking distance to some of the best "off the Square" restaurants and phenomenal food trucks. Access to HWY 12 is close for you to head North or South to visit the Wineries that Sonoma is known for. The staff is very accommodating and helpful throughout your stay.

The property is quaint and a great price for the area. I had cozy room with private patio that was perfect for me. My friend stayed in a room with no patio and we both felt safe. This was our second stay. Everything was wonderful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Good parking, breakfast place around the corner. Quiet. Nice check in staff. There was no need for a highchair. It is possible that if needed and asked for, one might be available.

Cute, quaint, quiet, cozy, comfortable and clean. It was wonderful to enter a room that smelled fresh and without an overwhelming perfumery fragrance. We were in Unit 12 and even though our window faced the parking lot, it was very quiet. My husband thought the air conditioner/heater was a little noisy when it kicked on for a bit, but it didn’t bother me at all. Reception and staff is welcoming and informative and very nice The Creekside Cafe right around the corner is tiny hometown serving up an excellent breakfast.

I can’t say enough good things about the Sonoma Creek Inn! It offers the perfect balance between reasonable price, comfort, location, and nice people. Just a couple of blocks from the Fairmont , it’s a adobe historical building modernized in all the right ways. Clean, with plush towels and nice bedding, and really good shower water pressure! The attached Creekside restaurant has really good food at reasonable prices. A Home Run all around if you aren’t looking for fancy/luxury.

I love your hotel. I wished I would have been able to stay longer. I had to leave very early. The hotel was so quiet. I have never been to hotel where I heard nothing. So perfect. When I walked into my room I love the vintage style. So me. The air-conditioning was set at a perfect temp. It was hot outside. I also snuck a peek at the makers of the pillows. I have now purchased them for my home. The bed the pillows so comfortable. A very unique and sweet hotel. I highly recommend !!! And I did not leave my room.
