Stayed 2 nights

The room was dusty and toilet was unclean. It was loud and had questionable people that live there, walking around. The staff was nice initially but turned on me when I had 3 strokes, they would not work with me on a payment, this was because I was in the hospital without no purse. The heavy set girl whose name started with an R kicked us out of the hotel. I’m diabetic, suffered 3 strokes and have a special needs son and she knew it and made us leave. I couldn’t get the room packed quickly enough for her so she called the sheriff to have us removed. Up until this day I paid my rooms the night before, never any problems with payment until I ended up in the hospital. So the paramedics had to come to check me out because of the situation. Then we were meant to sit out front on the curb while trying to figure out what we could do. We had no car, no money, no options and then they were complaining about being in front of the hotel. R called the police again, once I had figured out a plan. The cop was mad because she told him we were being disruptive. We had been sitting quietly out there while working on my phone. I never said we wouldn’t leave and I never said I wouldn’t pay. I simply asked for some grace to a vulnerable situation. Nope she wasn’t having it. So we left and were are a much nicer place for the same inexpensive price, so in retrospect she did us a solid. There was also a weird smell through out the hotel. And the “free breakfast” consists of stale muffins.

Hotel hallway was disgustingly dirty. There was a towel with excrement next to the elevators. The hotel had a smell of burned pea soup. Restroom in room was dirty and had mold. Beds were flimsy. Expected more for $250 for one night. Room key stopped working on 2 separate occasions within 2 hours. Staff was nice though.

Clean room, quiet environment for a hotel, conveniently located to everything, nice staff, plenty of parking, has an elevator for people with who can't climb stairs. Housekeeping should be weekly. instead
