Great hotel for universal . Check in fast and quick. Staff very good and polite . We avoided the restaurants as found a few locally which were fantastic and 50%of the cost. Starbucks in the hotel was a treat 10 mins walk to the park . Parking on site and very easy. Pool was busy but the jacuzzi from the 8th floor looked very dirty. Might have been an illusion but very murky! Eat outside of the park!!!

After traveling around and seeing where the other hotels I considered staying were located, I was very glad I had chosen this hotel!! The staff were very nice, the hotel was clean and bright, the pool was clean and fun and opened until midnight. The bad thing was, my room was very cold; controls did not work and the fan blew on high for the 5-day stay. I reported it twice and was told someone would come, but no one ever came. The parking was much too expensive in my opinion! Overall though, very nice and I would stay here again!

Was there for universal studios with the kids. Family of four. Very friendly upon arrival. Valet and self parking is kind of pricey at $60 per day, but overall worth the money. Drinks in hotel are pricey as well…so be prepared to fork out $21 for one cocktail plus tip. Free shuttle to the studios and shops, Easy walking as well. The pool Has a bar and is clean, not huge resort style but big enough. Overall 5 stars.

Nice hotel with a 5-6 minute walk to the park and amenities. However, there was poor staffing in the pool bar area, and we had to wait in line for more than 15 minutes for a drink or snack; they just had 1 overwhelmed employee running the outside bar and food. In the room, the shower had so much water pressure that it was painful to take a shower, and when you switched to the hand shower, the water stream was really soft, and water was leaking everywhere. We were there for 2 nights only, but I expected a more comfortable stay for the prices the hotel charges for the food, drinks, and room.

Booked this hotel for our trip. Mainly to visit Universal Studios and attend the KPOP concert although it was a 35 minutes away. Hotel is right next to Universal, you can walk there with no issues. Bus runs every 10-15 minutes stopping on a total of two hotels. Staff was great. The only complaint I have, parking is so darn expensive. It's $50/per night for self parking and about $60 for valet.

Hotel and staff were great, but the pool was cooooooold. We brought the kids to town for Universal Studios and wanted to enjoy a swim at the end of a long day on our feet, but we could only stay in the pool for 10-15 minutes before we had to get in the hot tub. If they kept it 5 degrees warmer, this would be a great hotel

Overall great! 2 minor complaints - vending machines for food options on the property were limited to bubble tea. Also, we went for coffee at 1035am at the “Starbucks” in the lobby and it had just closed. Not sure why a coffee shop in a hotel venue would need to close at 10:30….crazy. Other than that, wonderful stay.

Hilton is a bit outdated and rundown. The towels were stained and old, the hallway carpet smelled, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. These are not the standards you expect in a Hilton hotel.

We drove 10 hours to get here to the hotel just to find out that the room was not ready. I was told I would be updated not once did I receive an email or a text message, the whole day pass thing open to the public is a disaster The pool area should only be open to guests took two hours to get our extremely overpriced disgrace of food that we ordered, the room had a terrible stench of body odor and cigarette smoke. The toilet was half ass cleaned pubic hair in the bathtub sheets were dirty. Everyone in the entire hotel either hates their job or is terribly paid not one happy face around if you hate your job find something else to do. I definitely should’ve booked the Sheraton. I would never recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family or ever stay here again.

Great hotel! We knew going in we’d be paying quite a bit extra for parking, but the total was still reasonable for the quality. We got a theme park view (so fun!) and the room was bigger than I expected from the pictures. Very clean, comfy bed (pull out not so much, but our kid didn’t seem to mind), and very friendly staff! 5/5

Not really walkable & not great food options around the hotel. I suppose it would be convenient for those going to Universal. My room was fairly nice and a good size, if not a little dated. Our 2nd floor room (lobby is on the 3rd floor) also looked into a back road of the hotel that looks like it was used for valet parking; just wish we had a nicer view. The hotel is located in a good spot for those going to Hollywood Bowl (less than a 10 minute drive away). Probably a little overpriced for what it is, but still a pretty decent hotel.

Great corner room on the 12th floor with beautiful views. Great and comfy barroom. The only negative for me was the very uncomfortable bed that has no back support whatsoever. If you need back support, this isn’t the hotel to stay long term.

Check in was wrong the room I booked I did not get only to be paid talk to hotels.com. Second the room was not ready upon 4pm with a lobby full of guest waiting for rooms mind you check in was at 4pm. Prob will never stay here again just didn’t like the experience.

Check in stated 4pm, so we arrived to the front desk at 3:50 to get the process started. The woman helping us said we would receive a text when the room was ready. 4:30 comes around and still no text. We went back and forth trying to get checked in which was a hassle, but finally got our room. Something seemed off about the reason for the late check in and had we not gone up to ask for our room, who knows when we would’ve gotten our room. Bad start. We then ordered room service at 9pm (menu states they deliver till 11pm). Our food arrived at 9:40pm cold, hard bun on the burger, over cooked chewy chicken, and soggy fries which we asked to be crispy. We called back at 9:50ish to get the issue fixed and they said they would call back. They call back AFTER 10pm telling us the kitchen just closed so we’re basically just SOL and had to deal with it (no compensation was offered either). So I call back later to address the 11pm delivery stated on the menu and they said during the slow season they decided to change the hours for dining. Might be something you should tell guests at check in??? Mind you, we called before 10pm and waited for the call back which came after 10pm. I had to ask for compensation for a 0/10 meal that was inedible. This was supposed to be my boyfriend & I’s valentines trip and it was horrible. We debated staying somewhere cheaper but turns out paying over $300/night doesn’t help you out either. Nobody seemed to care. I’ll never stay here again.

When complaints communicated to Hilton manager nothing was done, just told that’s not how Hilton does things!!

If you are visiting Universal Studios, this is the perfect spot to enjoy it. Room was spacious, clean and functional, and we were lucky to have great views. Hotel was also convenient to Hollywood, just a short drive away.

It was conveniently located next to universal. We could walk there or take the handy bus. We never waited more than 5 minutes for the bus even during horror nights. I wish the continental breakfast was included. We paid for the breakfast one of the days we were there and it wasn't the price. It had a small selection of foods.

Very nice property the walk is a bit longer than i expected to the park but they do have a shuttle if you don't mind waiting it'll get filled quick tho on busy days. The seafood Buffett was really good. Pricey but it was good.

Everything was over priced. The room, parking,dining. I paid $24 for travel sized lotion ave travel sized deodorant. I paid $25 for a cup of Fruitloops Ave a banana for my 3 year old daughter. It was over crowded, the walls in the room were thin so we could hear everyone in surrounding rooms. They're was no hospitality or accommodations. Definitely will not stay there again.

From checking in to check out was excellent! Breakfast was great tons of good food selections! From checking in there and service were first class! Most of the workers were very friendly. Most if our shuttle drivers were pleasant some looked they were not happy doing their job! But most of all we would stay at the Hilton again and specially at this location! Thank you!!

Slightly dated property close by the universal studios entrance. The room was very functional and the bathroom and shower pressure were great. The pool (with bar) was very nice and very popular. The food options in the morning were limited and very expensive. There was also only 1 functioning washer which was inconvenient.

Overall great location. Rooms are outdated but it’s a short walk to Universal Studios. They also have a shuttle. Seafood buffet is expensive and in my opinion, not worth it. $159 pp. Self parking is also pricey, at $50 a night.

The hotel staff were all really, really nice. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff were all really, really nice. The room was beautifully clean, although we did have a small problem with our air-conditioning unit which was promptly fixed and the fridge temperature was a little bit too low because we had two cans of Coca-Cola exploded as they had frozen. The swimming pool was just the right size, although the quality of the water was not the best. It was a bit cloudy and there were areas of the pool that had floating scum on them. We did bring this to the attention of the maintenance folks who did address it. But the Pool could have been cleaner. The beds were beautifully comfortable, the pillows were beautifully comfortable, the water pressure was fantastic, the daily housekeeping was also fantastic. I would totally stay at this hotel again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Universal! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it an excellent choice for visiting Universal Studios and exploring the surrounding area.
