The hotel was really nice and everyone was really helpful. I would say the downside, was that they charge an excessive amount as a “resort fee” for parking, pool, WiFi, and I utilized none of those services. I thought when I booked I paid everything, but this extra fee stinks especially when you don’t use anything!

Staff is the only great part of this hotel. They were all exceptional. However, we booked under the pretense of no additional fees. There were hundreds of dollars in fees. $70 each night for parking. $40 resort fee per day, for what I’m not sure. Casting didn’t work on the tv. WIFI was slow when it connected. Bathrooms are small. No locks on bathroom doors. Hallways are dim. Couldn’t use the pool because there was always a party going on. Drip coffee is $7. No extra towels or linens in room. Be prepared to be charged for ANY amenity. Would definitely just stay somewhere more expensive with amenities included.

I’ve stayed here many times over the years. It’s changed a lot. If you want a party hotel and don’t plan to sleep becasue the noise is so loud it’s a good spot. But if you don’t want music banging in your ears until 2am and then having neighbors with 5-6 people in a room partying all night I would say it’s not the right place. Disappointing because this hotel is in a great area and could be awesome but under the current management and allowing parties non stop Thurs - Sunday the place attracts a party crowd and rowdy crowd.

Club Scene!! Hotel is great if you are 21 and over and love a noisy club scene. If you don’t, this hotel is not for you. After 6 pm, and earlier on weekends, you have to be 21 and over to enjoy most of the hotel amenities including the pools. The areas turn into clubs open to outside public - even though you are the pne paying the hotel fee. In addition, the club music is so loud that it can be heard (it vibrates) and felt through double slding doors. In terms of positives…. Beautiful and spacious bathrooms.

Pretty hotel and real nice people but sucks you can’t use the pool as often as you’d like because they literally host a “influencer” event almost every day and night . We went used the pool just once and never again after.

Our room had bed bugs, they were not swift in helping us get out of our room with any urgency whatsoever. After 6 hrs later we were moved down the hallway to a different room. We were offered a drinks for our troubles and were told our room would be credited to which when we checked out it was not and they added and extra $509 to the room with no explaining or did they ever respond to my emails. Don’t stay here! This place is old dingy and has bed bugs.

The lobby and pool area are dingy and full of uncomfortable and some, stained seating. No pretty flowers anywhere either…There is a an extremely unattractive dirty plastic tent over the pool. You would think you would get a water or glass of champagne at check in?? Is that old time? classy?

Mixed feelings. I had a very pleasant room upgrade to a studio suite. It was extremely spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping was excellent and the room always clean. Breakfast was a little chaotic as they were obviously trying their best but clearly understaffed. When I checked out, I was presented with a very confusing bill, showing numerous individual charges that, when grouped together, totalled around $55 a night. When I broke down the small mandatory incidentals, I realised I had been charged nearly $100 for breakfast on the last day, which was a $22 avocado toast and a $4 drip coffee. All communication with the hotel has gone unanswered. It soured what was a mostly pleasant trip, as confidence is key. As should be the effort to correct a mistake when it’s spotted. I can handle chaotic breakfast service, but not being charged almost quadruple the cost of the food and drink.

The hotel is fine. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet. This is not the hotel. I was put in a beautiful suite but around 10pm loud noises and banging went on until 12:30. Sounded like I was put on the floor where a large trash compactor was. Just tons of banging. Also the sky bar closes at midnight. Not a quiet stay.

Hotel is not great to stay for business. It is very noisy due to the club/restaurant which had very loud music and live music until midnight each night. Don’t plan on sleeping if you have the pool area or have a view of the city. Ask for a room facing the mountain.

Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Everyone was super responsive. The rooms are definitely a little worn. We had a one bedroom suite that had damaged wood floors in each room from some kind of leak. Things were kind of beat up. Towels seemed old. It was weird to have a full kitchen but no dishwasher or fridge to put food items into. The mini fridge was stuffed so full that even a little baby food packet didn’t fit. No big complaints but probably wouldn’t stay again. Oh and parking is $70 per night with no choice to self park.

The room was great, front desk staff were great, when I got confused by the elevator system, someone rushed over to point it out. However, I was left really disappointed by the service in the restaurant. I went there twice. The first time for breakfast. No-one greeted me. I had to interrupt the two members of staff who were busy with something to ask if it was open (as no one else was seated there). The lady said I could sit anywhere. I then had to ask for a menu, and she provided me with the wrong one, which I had to point out to her. She then said I'll get someone to take your order. She disappeared and no-one returned after 5 minutes of waiting. I was alone in the restaurant, so as I was in a hurry, I decided to leave as I didn't have confidence that I would get served quickly. I went in again the next day in the evening and again was not greeted so I figured it wasn't a one off and decided to go somewhere else. When I travel to a hotel of this standard I expect to be able to have a good quality breakfast service. Given that the breakfast room was empty, when compared to the One Hotel next door that has a full breakfast room, I think it says all you need to know.

Stayed here for 3 nights and we're very pleased with this hotel! It is situated in a good area although you need to either drive or walk a long distance to get to different popular locations. Very clean pool area and cafe/restaurant with excellent service. Perfect trendy and boutique hotel for a girls trip! Would definitely stay here again!

I stay here often for the last few years, it’s easy and fun. The breakfast needs a vast improvement tho. The avocado toast sucks especially for LA. And the pool service / opening times for the bar need to be much clearer, same with the small coffee shop inside it’s very inconsistent.

I happened to be there on a Monday night. Everything was closed, blocked up and unappealing. I have been staying at this hotel since it opened and will not return. Restaurant closed. No place for breakfast or purchases. It looked like they had a "school" in the foyer on the day. Really didn\'t mix with the brand. I only stay there to go to the restaurant and bar -- but both were not open.

The room was great, front desk staff were great, when I got confused by the elevator system, someone rushed over to point it out. Given that the breakfast room was empty, when compared to the One Hotel next door that has a full breakfast room, I think it says all you need to know.

Used to be the place to be. It’s now subpar, especially the pool area where we were served food in take-out containers and charged a fortune. We returned our food as it was worse than you’d encounter in coach class on a low-cost airline. Guacamole spread from Costco served with stale corn chips was an example. Come on guys. Not the boutique hotel it used to be when it was competing with the other hip spots on Sunset.

Hotel is very good,but he has problems with coffe shop on first floor.Working only till 11 am,with out sign,poor selection of pastries,and one person working very slowly,last time I waiting over 15 min for one cup of coffee. Price more then in Starbucks.
