Absolutely fabulous experience every time we stay here. It’s such a lovely little oasis in the middle of WeHo. Cavatina the restaurant is wonderful-good food, great service with a relaxed vibe. The beds are very comfortable and so are the sitting areas. Haven’t visited the front bar yet but the back bar is a lot of fun. Both pool areas are well appointed and the trees throughout make you forget you are mere steps from Sunset Blvd. The staff are very friendly & helpful and go a long way to make you feel welcome. We will be back!

The property has a great vibe to it, being low rise and spread out over 3 acres. The two pools are great and getting a seat was never a problem. Our room in the mail part of the hotel was had a large sitting area and was great for sleeping, being very quiet, with great blackout curtains and a comfortable bed. They are in the process of renovating the rooms, but even though ours was not yet renovated it was perfectly fine. We were both very happy with our stay here.

We liked that they have a new, convenient Limo that can take you or pick you up if wishing approx 2-3 miles. We used this service a couple of times. Staff were very friendly, we may have gotten a room upgrade but we weren't told. The room was very nice & big.

I *love* this place! I'm big on the quality of the shower and they hit it out the park there. And Room Service food selection is phenomenal. They have a gym, spa, and multiple pools on the premises. And it's walking distance from all the sights. I'll definitely be back here when I visit my LA family & friends again!

The Sunset Marquis is one of the last bastions of real customer service. A place where staff remembers your name, even if it’s been a year between trips. Run with an exacting standard yet there is always an air of ease in dealing with every department. It’s an oasis discreetly tucked in the midst of busy West Hollywood. Even though only mere feet off of Sunset, one could be convinced they just walked into a resort in the tropics. The back property layout creates a sense of privacy unrivaled in LA. The rooms are crisply furnished but still comfortable. The wonderful restaurant, Cavatina, on its open patio surround with mature greenery, serves consistently fantastic fare. There’s also a newly remodeled spa, the legendary Whiskey Bar and a photo gallery on site. A treat every time.

The hotel was super welcoming and the staff wonderful. The hotel has some renovations underway so one pool was closed. Once everything is back open and you can have the full renovated experience it will be full 5 stars I’m sure.

When I checked in, we were upgraded. Which was wonderful. All employees were always calm and polite. The food was outstanding. The only thing that happened was at the bar. A local sat beside us and we talked with him but he began to become very loud and it ran others around him away from the bar. I guess he known to be so loud. The rooms and grounds were clean. We have stayed at a few other boutique hotels in LA and this by far is our favorite.

In my 54 years of living in this planet I would say that the Sunset Marquis is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a perfect experience. The rooms were fantastic and immaculately clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious. I would not only give it 10/10 I would also give it 100/100.

Great stay with very good service from the friendly staff, the hotel is in a popular area. Accommodation was as advertised with separate bedroom and comfy bed, two tv’s, coffee maker and double balcony. The room had plenty of space, nice enough bathroom although I don’t like shower curtains. Breakfast was above average in a lovely restaurant. Some parts of the hotel require a little upgrading but overall we had an excellent stay in the Sunset Marquis and would definitely return.

amazing feeling right from driving up. Absolute easy valet parking. Totally cool rock 'n' roll vibe and the property expands back from the street into a quiet, beautiful green oasis ...rooms were lovely and villas were like a home away from home. The bed and bedding were so cozy and had two of my best night sleeps in a while! Restaurant with great service and yummy food as well. A cool bar with a great nighttime vibe. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The room was spacious and my wife amd I lkved the new technogy in the room (especially the heated toulet seat)!! It was far enough away from Hollywood Blvd that we were able to get good sleep but close enough to all the action that we were just minutes away. Additionally the people at valet parking were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an upscale place to stay at a very affordable rate!

I usually don’t leave reviews but this hotel is deserving. Our experience at the sunset marquis was brilliant and it’s mainly because of the staff. Logan welcomed us with an amazing energy and walked us to our room, showing us in detail how to operate it. His passion is very uplifting and positive. As for the front desk staff, they went out of their way each time to accommodate us, especially Sarah who helped my partner file a police report after her phone got stolen. As for the hotel It seems we were upgraded to a renovated room so we are not sure of the difference but the room we stayed in (villa suite as opposed to the deluxe suite) was high tech from the smart toilet seat to the electronic curtains. Plus it is tastefully designed. The hotel itself was very hip and drew an artistic crowd. They have their own studio downstairs as well. I highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back

I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Marquis. This was my third time staying there in the past 18 months, so I obviously like it. It's truly an oasis of calm right in the middle of West Hollywood. The location is great! It's just below the Sunset Strip, but far enough removed where you don't hear the noise of that lively area. It's within walking distance of a lot of places. (Granted, I'm a New Yorker, so walking is a preferred mode of getting around and longer distances don't bother me.) I also like the size of this hotel. I would describe the hotel as medium size, but it feels pretty intimate. It's not a high rise, so you don't get grand views of LA, but the lush landscaping makes for a calming environment. We were blown away with the amazing hospitality we got the second we walked in the doors. Everyone was willing and wanting to help. And it just felt like a small community in there that took good care of one another. The room was everything we had hoped and more. The pictures don’t do it justice. And you are near everything. We walked all day long to all the shops and restaurants. We will be back

The resort was clean and the staff was very friendly My negative comments are The resort should have the inside bar open during the entire week not just a few days during the week. for those checking in during the week we likke to have a nightcap and not go out Ithe resort just to have a drink . Yes they do have one restairant inside the resort with a bar however they close at 9:30pm No music around or anything near the pool Even people over the age of 70 yrs old would like to hear a little music around the pool area to relax

Absolutely fabulous experience every time we stay here. It’s such a lovely little oasis in the middle of WeHo. Cavatina the restaurant is wonderful-good food, great service with a relaxed vibe. The beds are very comfortable and so are the sitting areas. Haven’t visited the front bar yet but the back bar is a lot of fun. Both pool areas are well appointed and the trees throughout make you forget you are mere steps from Sunset Blvd. The staff are very friendly & helpful and go a long way to make you feel welcome. We will be back!

I hadn’t been to the sunset marquis in years and i was nervous that it would be tired but it wasn’t. I was fantastic. The front desk was over-the-top awesome, which isn’t always the case in LA. The food was great. Bar was fun. Stay!

The Sunset Marquis has an elite reputation and it lives up to the billing! Underrated part of the experience…the food! Restaurant/Bar is excellent—-don’t have to leave the property if you don’t wish to do so! This was just a great experience for us and we hope to visit again!

I liked everything but the restaurant. The food was really good but when I walked into the restaurant there only seemed to be one waiter. He went over to another table that came after me. Then went back to the bar. A few minutes later a couple more staff came out. Then a waitress came over and I gave her my order. I was alone. Then a busboy or food runner came out with two plates of the same dish and said I ordered 2. It didn't even look like what I ordered. He left one. I looked at it for a awhile, then the waitress came over and said that wasn't what I ordered. She took it away and then moments later the 2 plates made it to the rightful customers. Then my dish came. It was good.

I love staying here because it’s really lowkey and well located. The two pools are great, the property is lush and music studio downstairs is super cool! The rooms are spacious and the staff is so helpful and kind. I’ve returned twice and always have a great stay!
