Hampton Inn & Suites Yuba City

Great gym!

People were great and tried to make up for it but the Hampton needs to have a working hot tub AND GET RID OF THE DAMN ROOSTER that started waking us up at 3am!! There were literally roaming free chickens and roosters in the middle of a shopping center in a city! Upsurd! I have pictures that wont upload.

The pool was closed for repairs. The pool was the reason we stayed there.

The property needs more security. My car got broken into because it was parked in the back.

Love the roosters outside! On serious note, check in was a breeze and the room was perfect! Pool is in great shape and the jacuzzi was spot on.

Beds were comfy, breakfast options were great, pool and hot tub were amazing, friendly staff, parking was good, food & shopping options withing walking and driving distance! Would definitely stay here again.

Under construction and not enough parking stalls. I’m sure the hotel will be beautiful upon completion. Liked the breakfast and available coffee station all day. Thank you.

Power was out all night and into the next day.main staff left the facility and luckily one person stayed to register me manually…. Emergency lights went out completely so exiting was horrible….ended up getting locked out into a fence area that I had to climb out and over the shrubs. They could have done better and offered nothing for the extreme inconvenience. Unfortunately I’ll have to stay there ago due to work.

They took us last minute, were very friendly, and had a nice clean room. There was construction happening for additional rooms and a remodel, but they did a good job minimizing the impact on their guests.

The cleanliness inside the hallways was horrible. I get it y’all are going through construction and renovations but the floors and walls were dusty. Your prices were also off the charts as if you had a fully running hotel.

Don't judge a books by the cover. This hotel looked new and beautiful. But it was very dirty. Our room was not cleaned before checked in. It smelled like an animal had use d the room as a restroom. And the actual restroom had dried urine on the toilet seat. It was actually disgusting. We literally just slept in the room. The beds and pillows were actually very comfortable, but the smell was really bad and made it hard to relax. Then we were awoken by roosters at just after 5am. Apparently it's a Yuba City thing. At least that is the excuse the hotel gave. The roosters are wild and all over Yuba City. We had family staying in the same hotel and they actually changes rooms at check in because they had dirty towels with what looked like poop stains. So gross. We will not be staying at a Hampton Inn again.

The property was well kept. Checkin was fast and efficient. The room was clean and beds were comfortable and pillows were great. Breakfast was good.

Everything was clean and nice

The general conditions of the hotel were fine, but our room, 211, had a transformer or some sort of electrical box behind it that cycled on and off every 20-30 seconds. We also had a king bed that was very uncomfortable and noisy which made it difficult to move without disturbing each other. Our stay was not worth $350/nt room rate.

The woman who checked me in was rude, she must not have liked me because someone else checked in right behind me and she was polite to him, even offered him a bottle of water. The thing I wasn’t happy about was that the door on our room had a gap so at night the light from the hallway was clearly visible. Also it allowed all the conversations from the hallway feel like they were in our room. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broke and barely hanging on the wall. Other than that the hotel itself was beautiful, all other staff was super nice.

Immaculate room, comfortable bed and great breakfast. The only drawback was the refrigerator made an annoying humming sound.

I love how big and spacious the room was as well as the welcome. The staff was very kind, helpful and respectful.

The room was very large with was nice. Unfortunately, the doors made a lot of noise when they closed. People above us woke up with stomping on the floor. The Wifi was not up to what we have experienced before. We've never had to download an app to get wifi and our amazon stick with all out programs always worked, but it didn't here. When technology improving everyday, even airplanes are sometimes asking us to bring out own tablet to watch tv. On the other hand, the staff did come up to help me get wifi on my tablet. The tv couldn't do the same thing so I used the hot spot on my phone to watch my shows via the amazon stick. I shouldn't have to do that, though.

It's always especially quiet and the blackout blinds keep your room amazingly dark after sun up.

Great and beautiful rooms

Overall, the stay was great for what we needed. Though, I have never stayed in a place that had such poor sound barrier in each room. I could hear people clearly whispering in the hallway outside my door. I could hear people sneezing in their rooms. At one point, a group of people came in at 1:30am and were conversing a pretty average volume (sounded loud to us in our room), woke us up. Promptly, I hear a baby crying a couple rooms down and a person groan. I hear their footsteps walk to the door, open their door, and whisper “You woke up my baby. Go talk in your own room.” The people in the hallway apologized heavily, and then went to their own rooms to talk, which remained just as loud. The stay was fine, the beds were comfy, the staff was kind, etc. just… no sound insulation in the rooms…

The room was perfect, it was super size for what I thought it was going to be. I truly love the bathroom door on wheels. Love the a/c, I love to sleep in a cold room with a lot covers!! The room was super clean and the breakfast was amazing. Overall I loved my stay at the hotel. It’s a 10 star hotel. Best I have stayed at in a while

Rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful.

The check in person was phenomenal! She was so helpful and nice. And she handled various requests while helping us. Very professional and courteous.

The front desk staff was not friendly, she had an attitude when I was checking in. Didn't feel welcome at all. Besides that the inside of the hotel was very clean. The room that I booked was clean as well and spacious. Very quiet. Breakfast options where good but if they would add fresh fruit that would be excellent. Just to point out the staff that where attending the Breakfast area where very cordial (hopefully the front desk lady should take classes from them).

I am so very, very grateful for the staff that helped us. My husband fell and hit his head and lost consciousness in our room. When he came to, he passed out again and his eyes were rolling back in his head. I called the front desk and asked them to call 911. The Ambulance came immediately and i do believe it was the manager that brought them to the room. It was terrifying for me Nd they took care of me/us. Thank you is not adequate enough to cover my gratitude.

Although there were some extensive renovation work ongoing, this did notdetract from an enjoyable stay. Very comfortable room and a short walk to local eateries and stores

Stayed for one night for a concert at the Toyota Amphitheater (June 2024). Our room was a single king, ended up being on the ground floor. The room had high ceilings and I didn’t hear noise from any surrounding rooms or upstairs rooms which was amazing. The room was clean, linens fresh and well stocked. The chair in the room had a couple pieces of random trash (nothing gross, a receipt and a cap to something) that got missed, but not a big deal at all - especially for such a busy place turning the rooms out for the shows (there were 2 major shows the same night, one at Hard Rock, the other at Toyota). There is a grocery store (Raley’s) one light away, so we were able to grab snacks for the show and whatever we needed. Returning after midnight felt safe, we even ventured back out to grab a bite at one of the handful of late night fast food options nearby. Plenty of parking, vehicle was safe overnight. Breakfast was well stocked with enough options that there was something for everyone. They even had single serve Almond milks which I love to see because I can’t have cows milk, personally. One thing… there are a ton of wild roosters & hens on the property - but we noticed it seemed to be the whole Yuba City area, including by the grocery store. Couldn’t hear the crowing from the room so it didn’t bother us at all - it was actually really cute to see all the baby chicks as we visited late spring/early summer. Will definitely stay here again for future shows!

The hotel is clean with a nice buffet breakfast complementary coffee and spacious rooms. The location is a bit tucked away but convenient.

This is the only hotel I stay at when I visit Yuba City. It is in a convenient area and there are several restaurants that are within walking distance. Staff is very kind and helpful every time I stay.

Quiet, clean, friendly staff. I would make 2 suggestions regarding Breakfast. 1) have some Gluten Free bread or muffins. 2) have an option of Medium or Dark Roast coffee. Otherwise it was good.

Clean room, friendly staff, best breakfast!

Very efficient and polite check in. Clean, comfortable room and bed. My car was right outside my window and felt very safe. Breakfast of scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. My friend is GF and was able to have the eggs, cheese and yogurt. Good stay and thank you! I'd go back.

This hotel/ room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with several different choices. Will continue to stay here in the future.

I like how they serve actual breakfast and not just coffee and bread. They have various options for kids as well.
