we were placed in the back corner with the ice machine, elavator, an entrance, and a staff door. constant noise. room was okay other than dead bugs everywhere, couldnt connect to the wifi that well, and we got a parking charge even though the entire lot was full saturday night. the "oveeflow" lot was some constrction site with no kight was full

Menu was average, had to pay for parking and park in a different lot, not the hotel. 1st night there was a very annoying sound in our room and we got very little sleep. Our offer was to pack up all of our stuff, leave it in the office area, and they would hope to find us another room. We declined to move and the noise was gone for the remainder of our time. We only asked for clean towels but those didn’t arrive either.

the hotel is an old hotel that needs and update. The elevator broke down while we were there after making odd mechanical noises, the jets for the hot tub did not work, the pool area is small as is the pool, cleaning service did not come to our room during our 2 night stay, and the stairwells smell funny. A lot of hotel needs updating, it's an aged hotel in a good location.

So I feel like this hotel wants to be nice but is lacking in upkeep, or is maybe mid-renovation. Our room was mostly clean (new carpet, linens seemed crisp) but also lacking (noisy mini fridge, questionable spatter on the ac unit). The hallways have new carpet, but scratched up walls and old doors. The elevators are a literal nightmare... plan on waiting an eternity or using the stairs. Also the gym is the only place to fill water. The price was right, but some things could have been better.

Pros: comfy bed, clean room/bathroom, full breakfast, close proximity to hot springs. Cons: pet friendly (so dogs constantly barking if they have crappy owners), not enough parking, lots of box elder bugs in the window of our room, highway noise (should have checked how close we were to the highway before booking, so my fault), and they conned us out of money for parking and a tourism fee. There was no mention of this before booking. When we said that, the girl checking us in just slapped down a sign that stated these ‘new’ policies and said, ‘oh yeah, we need to get that changed on the website’. Tourism fee? Seriously? You’re a hotel. Your entire existence is based on tourism, otherwise you would have no business. And $10 to have to park way in the back next to a homeless person? SMH

The room smelled like dog poop, they charge a parking fee but I had to park by in village inn parking because the lot was full, the manager offered to move me because of the smell but wanted me to do right when she called me but I was working till 7. She said they would be to full by then. They shampooed my carpet then opened the window. I came back to wet floors that was gross to walk on the room smelled of forest fire and smoke because of the meeker fire. My throat hurt so bad the next day. I was up there doing an event for work and it just added stress to my stay. Never again at a La Quinta.

First of all, we added on the late checkout for extra money because we needed it and then they didn’t even let us do that which like why offer? Then our sheets had OTHER PEOPLES HAIRS in and on them, so I called requesting new sheets on the bed. They took over an hour to send some boy who didn’t speak any English (which is fine except I couldn’t communicate what we needed) up to the room and didn’t make the bed, just threw sheets at my face. So I had to pay over $600 to make my own bed that shouldn’t have been that unclean in the first place. The bathroom had very clearly never been cleaned recently and had hairs all over the shower. The vents were so dusty it and the bathroom fan was hanging from the ceiling partially unattached which is just dangerous. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Anytime we asked for anything (towels, soap, etc.) it took over two hours to get to our room IF we didn’t just give up and go get it. The whole point of hotel service is convenience and home away from home but this was NOT good. I do not recommend at all. Not to mention the area is horrible with tons of homeless people and no parking.

Fine for overnight but if I was a female traveling solo I might not stay here. Numerous oddly out-of-place men roaming outside. Bathroom needed a deep cleaning and bed was lumpy. Breakfast was ok but no grab and go foods. Will not stay here again.

The hall wallpaper was torn in numerous places land the lighting in the public and common areas was dreary and depressing. Did not look at all like the photos. The rooms were very nice and clean, however, they did not have a smart tv, which is pretty common these days. The breakfast was also very good and the lobby was nice. However, the walls were extremely thin- we could hear dogs barking and kids yelling frequently. And the attention to detail throughout the hotel regarding cleanliness was disappointing- elevators had busted buttons and were dirty, there were random holes in a few of the walls, etc. The pool was extremely small and the hot tub was dirty, plus there was a very unpleasant smell on the pool level. I guess if you're staying in Glenwood you'll most likely visit the hot springs anyway, but my daughter was really disappointed in the pool. They also asked me if I wanted daily housekeeping and I said yes, but the housekeepers never once came to my room over a 3 night stay. I think next time we will stay elsewhere.

I can't thank the staff enough. They are fantastic. I had lost my wallet at the door and wasn't able to check in yet. Another kind guest had turned it in and the front desk staff (Angel) did what they could to notify me and got me checked in. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The room was clean but service was terrible. We stayed 3 nights and the last 2 nights we were unable to get into our room. Each night we had to go to the front desk so they could reprogram our room key. Never received an apology. The first night the desk clerk never even could bother to say hello or acknowledge us. Rooms were never serviced so we had to grab extra coffee service from the cleaning carts,

I was told my reservation was cancelled as I did not show up but I had booked the reservation for the 12th and their system had me booked for the 11th . Therefore I was charged for both my rooms . So I didn’t get to stay there for a complete review . Even though someone from Expedia called the hotel to explain they refused to give any refund .

The facility had a very unpleasant smell—like old mold and mildew—which was noticeable as soon as we walked in. The photos online are somewhat misleading; outside of the lobby area, the place looks quite run-down. This is more of a quick overnight stop than somewhere you'd want to stay with family. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, room service was a bit rude and didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult when we needed assistance. 2 members of my family got sick from eating breakfast. We also noticed they were serving spoiled milk. Sausage was badly undercooked. Charging $260 for a mediocre room and then getting served a horrendous breakfast wasnt great. Also the parking is a mess its not clear where you can or cant park in the back parking lot. Elevators are all on the verge of disaster. We have stayed here numerous times. This was the most disappointing.
