We celebrated the birthdays of my wife and son! Our son has a disability and the hotel was quite accommodating. The pool with fully operational spas did the job. Our Waiters David & Kadesh did an outstanding job with allowing us to have an outside table and we had really nice dinner for three. We can’t complain and we don’t like crowds anyway. This establishment was only at 20% occupancy and we were all for it. Again thanks!

We had some issues at check-in and were double charged. I am waiting for some of it to fall off our credit card like I was promised. Lobby and bar area is great. Outdoor amenities such as the pool are dated, but overall we had a nice time as a family.

I'm really disappointed in my stay at this resort. I was alerted that the HVAC for the room wasn't working even though this has been an ongoing problem. This should have been disclosed upon booking. The standing fan in the room was not a great solution. Only putting coffee and tea out between 5:30am-6:30am in the morning was worthless. Most hotels have a 3-4 hour beverage center for their guests. Forcing guests to go to the restaurant for the beverages wasn't great since they were apart of the resort fee however they make you pay for it when you walk in. The resort options for food wasn't good either. Bagels and cereal for breakfast at the Alpine Grill wasn't great despite $38. The bar upstairs served decent food however the kitchen closed too early. Was there for the JAS festival and wanted to eat upon getting back. You guys only had one bartender and the menu for food was too limited. Again you closed the kicthen early anyway. Booking the shuttles to go to town was stressful, for the valets are unorganized, they don't listen to one another or the concierge. They are simply aloof and dismissive. Very frustrating. Only 1 or 2 front desk people were truly helpful in my first time visit. Its a pretty property but very few seemed trained in hospitality. Never coming back to this establishment.

Wonderful hotel with great access to the main restaurants and an easy hike up the mountain over to the gondola ~ 3.5 mile hike. Hotel had excellent health club. Fantastic staff throughout the hotel (lobby bar had perfect lunch and drink options along with nice repartee with staff while awaiting food), also a great breakfast downstairs. Was close to Gorsuch (hot chocolate = amazing!). Went to Slice of Italy, The stewpot and Il Poggio near by for dinner’s - outside (very good). Love skiing and will now consider staying here in winter given our summer experience (almost forgot about the very cool outdoor concert right outside of the hotel) at this perfectly located hotel ;-)

3 different elevators to get To my room. It was very confusing and the staff gave me a map. Why wasn't there someone from the staff available to escort me to my room knowing that there was NO EASY way to find my room?Other than that, the property is beautiful and clean.Staff very friendly..

Loved our stay here! The location was next to the ski lifts and equipment rentals-making it fast and easy to get on the slopes. The restaurants and deck lounge have a wide selection and there was live music. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the spa was relaxing rejuvenating.

I 1st want to say the hotel is beautiful! The spa was wonderful- did 2 treatments. The room was very nice and quiet. All that being said the BIG PROBLEM that we had was we were not staying here for 1 night as in (we needed a hotel room for a business meeting or something). We stayed here as part of our vacation. The very day we checked in, the front desk told us that most everything had closed for the season break. Including the steakhouse restaurant in the hotel!!! Are you kidding me?! That restaurant only served breakfast and was totally understaffed. The service was not up to par and the few employees looked stretched thin. We only ate there once. The lobby bar had/offered…well bar food. We had to and did go to Aspen (20 minutes drive) for the rest of our meals. What a pain in the ass! I completely understand seasonal places but there should have been a clear notification of such with this hotel AND with EXPEDIA.com when choosing this hotel. I would have booked a different hotel in a different location had I’d known. Therefore I have to say my experience and stay was below average at best!! Mike - Nashville.

After checking us into our room we were told that there was an “engineering problem” that would prevent us from getting the room we booked and paid for - king size bed with view - and there was a problem with HVAC, so there was no air conditioning and our room would be hot. They waived the resort fee to accommodate - which seemed minimal given that we ended up in a room with 2 double beds and a view of the hotel driveway (vs. ski slopes) Housekeeping only placed new towels in our room - did not make the bed, replace the water bottles in the fridge or remove the trash. The head valet was incredibly rude to guests - we were waiting for the hotel shuttle to go to the music festival, one guest said his wife would be right down and the valet told him “no, we leave on time”. - it was early afternoon and there were only 4 of us on the shuttle they could have waited. The hotel is a nice location, but they clearly need to step up their service.

We paid $1,200 for a night, ended up arriving to the hotel at 4:30am due to flights delayed, we ask for late check-out and was told that no availability. We ended up sleeping 3hours only because when we arrived our room had an envelope with another person’s name and the bathtub was clogged. They ended up changing us from room. We got the village view, not the mountain. Lots of light enters the room. Carpet floor and pillow shams were dirty. At around 9:30am drilling sounds of construction woke us up. Got a video of it, which I cannot upload. They don’t have valet, a $1,200 per night resort! From lobby to parking is a 10mins walk, walking on ice. Our experience was horrible. It’s a 2-3 star hotel. They charge too much for the room. We have previously stayed in 5 star hotels and it never compares to this.

The staff was friendly. The room was very nice. My only complaint would be that the towels were dingy and the robe had a stain on it. I would suggest for them to get better laundry supplies or replacing the towels more frequently. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. But fyi bring your own towels

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room on the third floor was clean and had a nice view. The transportation options were a plus and came in very handy for the Jazz Fest. We will definately return.

This was a great hotel in a great location if you're planning things on or around Snowmass Mall. Staff is amazing and always asking how they can help. My only complaint was that we specifically booked a view room and ended up with a view of another building, and that building happenend to be under construction so all the deck furniture, grills, erc. were strewn about the small grassy area betreen us, it just looked trashy. We had zero view and just left the blinds closed the whole time. But otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be back.

Our room was large nicely appointed and comfortable. The service is the real issue at this hotel. They are understaffed and don't answer the phone most of the times. The majority of the staff do not seem happy to to provide customer service. When I checked out, they presented me with a bill that included room and taxes which I had already paid through Expedia. It seems very unorganized and like I said customer service is very poor.

This is a great property, but just about every room doesn’t have proper working heaters. When you ring front desk, they send an engineer who says “I’ll have parts tomorrow, here is a space heater for the night”. Needless to say a space heater doesn’t work at 15f, nor is it safe. The next day, they come back “it’s a mess, it’ll be a few days, but the space heater will do”. Hang out at the front desk and you’ll hear the complaints and same “excuses/fake fixes”, time and time again. Please, fix this issue! People are paying $800 per night to wear their ski jackets to bed because it’s so darn cold!

Il oved the design of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Service in the bar/restaurant was slow but decent. The servers took my meal before I had finished which was disappointing and it took forever to get my bags, I had to ask 3 times. The shuttle to the music event was great!

If I could give no stars I would. Room service and front desk are literally unavailable at any time. I called repeatedly over 3 hours and no one ever answered. I left no less than 5 VMs, which were never returned. The only way to gt food ddelivered to my room was to physically waalk down to the restaurant, place an order and then aask for it to be delivered to my room. And then, they got the room number wrong. When I went down to the front desk to speak to a manager, I was told there was nothing she could do about her staff not answering the phone, She said they were very busy. Meanwhile, there were two people waiting to get checked in that were furious. They said they had been waiting 45 minutes. As someone who has a heart condition/arrhythmia, not being able to reach the front desk in an emergency or to ask for help (especially at altitude) is incredibly unsafe, not to mention a huge liability for Marriott. Imagine if I (or someone else) needed help and couldn't get a hold of anyone to call for an ambulance. Luckily, this didn't happen. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, I called Marriott Bonvoy and opened a case. Hoping they do something about the hotel staff and manager.

This was a great hotel in a great location if you're planning things on or around Snowmass Mall. Staff is amazing and always asking how they can help. If you’re going to visit Aspen, stay here. Great for beginner skiers. Very small, intimate area with local shopping and dining. No reason to go off site for much. Free and convenient access to downtown Aspen if you want a change in scenery.
