The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included a hot sandwich made fresh which was pretty good. I will definitely stay here again!

I have known about the Rambler Hotel /Motel ever since I was a small child growing up in the 1960s, however I have never stood there until this past Sunday. I knew growing up that it was a small motel just off the interstate and a few years ago I knew that they had added the new two-story edition. With the passing of a family member and being asked to participate in the funeral I knew that I would spend some time in Walsenburg so I started to look for a place to stay while I was there. I chose the Rambler and booked my stay, I looked over my reservation and noticed that I was on an exterior room so I called the hotel directly and requested an interior room with handicapped amenities and I was given the room directly adjacent to the swimming pool. When I walked in I was delightfully pleased at a nicely appointed room with everything that I would need to be comfortable. I asked for an early check-in and was accommodated. The continental breakfast was nice and having somebody there fixing eggs and hash browns was an unexpected delight. I have nothing negative to say about my stay from check in to check out everything went smoothly. I could not have asked for more enjoyable experience.

The Breakfast was OUTSTANDING! They had a wide variety which included a fancy less messy pancake machine. But what sold me is they freshly made omlettes with cheese, bacon and eggs upon request. They weren't made ahead of time but when you ordered them. Best I've had at a Best Western yet! My only minor criticism is that I could never get my TV to work on English. It was all in Spanish. Even when I double checked the Language/Country setting in the settings. So there was no TV to watch or listen to. I'd stay there again when passing this way!

This is a an older motel with a newer hotel in the middle. The rooms are rather old, but very well maintained, and the staff was very efficient and helpful. Also, the motel is shielded from the road noise so it’s actually quite nice.
