Older 50s-60s era roadside motel next to CT state highway. Many updates and overall property is in great shape. Awesome Olympic diner across the street and easy 2 minute walk away. We stayed for one night and found the unit clean and beds comfy. Our host was very pleasant at check in. Plenty of free parking onsite and near Hammonessett State Reservation, Guilford center and a short drive to I-95.

Super easy to find and park; clean, safe location. I asked to be placed in a quieter location and they declined. the bed comforters could be upgraded and make room look much better. still i slept well after a long day!

There was an odd smell coming from all the sheets and blankets in the room. I rented two rooms for my family and the other room also experienced the same thing with the odor from sheets. Overall the room was ok. Bathroom was fine. Beds were a nice size and the air conditioning worked well.

Staff was very courteous in the room was very clean.. This was an inexpensive room for the night and so everything was great for the price This meeting as was to be expected furnishings, and what not in the room were quite old, but that’s what I expected for the price.. OK thank you

Family business, everyone is attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Architecturally, the Inn has the nostalgic charm of a 1960s motel from a movie set, but with modern amenities. My only complaint is that the climate-control wall unit is rather loud. But that's a small issue. It's a very chill & friendly "motor court."

We arrived around 9 pm after a much longer drive than expected due to traffic in a cold rainy winter night. Looking forward to a comfortable room. The heat in the room was turned OFF and this was winter. The heater in the room was really noisy and we had to keep our coats and shoes on to stay warm. There is no carpet in the floor which was freezing. On the positive side, there was plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was fine. We will not take a chance on staying here ever again.

The heat didnt work in the bedroom, but the living room heated the entire unit. Only real issue was the pillows. They weren't comfortable so my lady and I purchased our own from a Walmart the next city over

The WiFi does not reach the rooms in the back of the property. We kept getting a message that said we needed to "move closer". And the majority if the tV stations on the direct TV had such poor connection that they were unwatchable.

Beware that “multiple beds” equates to sleeper sofas which are old and uncomfortable. When I asked staff for a room with actually two beds they nodded and gave me a room with one bed and a sleeper sofa. Then they over charged me for the room which I’m dealing with through Orbitz now. The hotel is demanding paperwork for the charge as if they have no clue of my booking or charges. I’ll never consider staying here again under any circumstances.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I arrived and there was nobody at what seemed to be a motel-type desk. I had to call the phone for someone to appear. While the gentleman was friendly, this was the only decent part of the experience. I walked into the suite and was immediately met with a dank, musty odor and moldy furniture. I immediately knew I could not spend 5 seconds in this place, let alone an overnight stay. I didn’t even want to put my bag down on the floor. I have never had such a negative visceral reaction to a room, and honestly I found myself going 500 ft up the road to the Comfort Inn. I tried to get a refund through hotels.com but since it was pre paid apparently there is nothing they can do.

The owner was responsive to my concerns. The desk is staffed 24/7, unlike some other properties. The shoreline diner is across the street for breakfast and dinner. I would stay there again, when I visit Guilford.
