Stayed 4 nights

We booked a two queen room, they said we booked a king. They said the problem was we booked thru third party and their descriptions are different. I had my reservation proof, they didn’t care. A call to a manager at home gave them permission to give us the correct room but we had to pay more. When we got to our room we were already worried because the hallway carpet was extremely dirty. The room was the same. The blinds were broken so anyone outside could see in. There was another door that exited to the back that seemed unsafe. The heating/air conditioner control was broken off the wall, and several lamp shades were torn. Dirty food stains on the tv stand. We did not stay. Thankfully our third party reimbursed us 100%.

The moment I walked in the place it smelled strongly of chlorine from the pool. The only handicap room that was advertised with 2 queen beds was actually 1 queen with a pull-out sofa. The bathroom was not very clean. The breakfast bar was good minus the coffee but was located next to the pool so the chlorine smell was strong.

I had to change rooms within minutes of entering. First room had black stains all over carpet, odor, toilet was continuously running and the secondary lock on the door was missing a part. The manager knew about the stains (dried ink) and only after I complained did she tell another clerk to block the room. I was given another room. This room, while better had a dysfunctional control for the AC/heat but I made it work. The room was like an old style motel with a large window to the hallway and a small window in the rear. The room was across from the indoor pool so it was noisy in the afternoon I was unable to block the light completely and the door had gaps allowing light to enter. The small back window had blinds that did not close either. I was unable to sleep most of the night. The breakfast was palatable but I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Learned that you definitely get what you pay for but all other hotels in the area were at least $75 more per night. Would not recommend this place.

The room was dirty it was not impressed a couple of the young girls were very very nice but the other young lady that had the long braids did not smile a lot I had an attitude or anything did not did not appreciate her whatsoever. Didn't look like it's been vacuumed very good black hair in the sheets the flooring dirty and I'll look corners in the bathroom underneath the piping was dirty I actually wiped it off to me. Waste of money didn't say that the restaurant was across the street in the information also cool and the hot tub looked disgusting there was no way we were going to go in there.

It was pretty clean. Don’t eat the breakfast but overheard some college guys say it was good. The building is old and needs maintenance
