Everything fne except for the garage situation. On arriving, you need a room key to get in the garage, but you don’t have a key until you’ve checked in. On leaving, desk told us we didn’t need anything to get out of the garage, but when we got to the date, found we needed a room key or ticket. Long line of people leaving the garage with similar problems. We like this hotel, but the long line of people trying to get out of the garage may keep us from ever coming back.

Good space. It’s a meeting/conference center so expect it to be very busy. Check in/out was easy, room was standard, however no microwave. Our toilet was also constantly running although we were too busy with our event to call and have it addressed. Pool and fitness center were well maintained. Staff was friendly.

This property is disgusting. There are stains on bedding, curtains, and walls in the rooms. There were hairs in our shower when we got in. There are visible holes in the wall from what looks like something previously being hung. The pool is dirty- there is mold in it. The handle in the women’s pool shower has been torn off so you can’t use that shower. The pool areas have visible dirt and grime everywhere. The service is terrible too. No way to call the front desk from your room- I had to use my cell phone to call and still no answer. Prior to check in we were told there are roll away beds available. At check in we were told there was a 35 dollar charge for the bed. We asked for bedding three times and had to go down to the front desk when it still had not been delivered by 8:30 pm. You have to pay for parking in a very confusing parking garage. There are no other options. For 300 dollars for one night this is unacceptable. We are very unhappy and if we had the option we would drive back home tonight. I’ve stayed at better comfort inns.

The good: The front desk was incredibly nice and the lobby was beautiful. It is right on and off I-95 which is super convenient since I was traveling between NY/NJ and northern CT. There is parking but with a daily fee. The bad: lobby did not match the hallways or the room. I stayed in a double bed room it was giving run down sketchy motel. The bathroom looked like it had some mold on the trim of the tub. The wall paper had maybe water or cleaning stains. The bedroom it didn’t feel like they vacuumed. The walls are also very thin, in the bathroom I could hear the other suite talking and in the bedroom I could hear someone’s morning alarm going on for about an hour. I was incredibly grossed out but since I was only going there to sleep after checking both beds several times and wearing flip flops in the shower I felt fine. It doesn’t fit the description or the reviews at least the room and floor I stayed on.

Very disappointing property. I’ve never stayed in such a poorly maintained Hilton. The halls and elevators were dingy. The wall paper in the room was peeling, the faux leather light was scratched and peeling. The remote and room phone were disgusting. The beds didn’t have proper sheets. There was, what I would like to think toothpaste, smeared behind the toilet that had not been cleaned. The room was just dirty. I feel like I could have stayed at a much cheaper property and it would have been cleaner than this hotel. Will not be staying here again.

Was dated and not very clean. Dirty windows, spots on mirror, etc. Front desk less than helpful when I told them I would be checking in late. Was uncomfortably cold from the AC in lobby and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was very good and had great staff. Other than that, not worth the price for the stay.

The lobby and breakfast was nice, the staff were great, but the rooms are extremely worn and run down. Dings and scrapes along every wall, a massive black marker line dragged down the entire length of the hallway carpet, cracking baseboards, clogged shower drain, peeling leather furniture, mold on shower walls, it was in horrible condition. The whole place is in desperate need of renovation.

This Hilton badly needs a renovation. Rooms were clean and roomy enough, but everything looks old and tired. Fitness center equipment not well maintained. The staff was kind and efficient. The location is excellent if one wants to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city, and it’s walkable to the commuter rail to NYC and Amtrak. If you want to be in walking distance to restaurants, this isn’t the place.

When you walk in the lobby and dining area lead you to belive the hotel is new and modern. When you step into your hotel room you are reminded this is not the case. The carpet was so dirty and stained i never took my shoes off. The toilet made very weird bubbling sounds and splashed water out of the toilet. But beds were comfortable and when i needed to change rooms because i was near the very noisy elevator they accommodated and helped me out.

Half the elevators were not working. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes coming through the vent. We were told we would get a discount on parking since the elevators were down and instead of $25, my card was charged $30. The guests with nearby rooms were screaming all night and when made aware, staff did nothing to resolve the situation.

The service at this property is above and beyond. I change the dates of my stay through Expedia while they canceled the old reservation. They never made the new one when I arrived at the hotel. There was no reservation for me at the front desk. Supervisor, Mr. Andrew Lindo, worked with Expedia to make sure I had a room for me and my friends. Mr. Lindo went above and beyond.

Very distasteful and rude staff! I booked a room as I was driving from NYC to CT in the very early hours of the morning. When I walked in I wasn’t properly greeted I was stared at instead ( I’m assuming because of my outfit ) when I asked to check in I was told by the staff I believe her badge said irene “ our system is down “ so I asked ok what should i do & she said “ our system is down I don’t know what to tell you & started banging on the computer “ so now I’m completely confused it’s 4am I just drove to hours with another 1hr drive ahead of me. The staff now became completely annoyed because I’ve never experienced this problem & had multiple questions she then aggressively said go wait in your car for 15 minutes or something I don’t know what else to tell you !!! That is extremely RUDE and empathetic. I become of course upset and explained it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it and expressed I was not happy with her service and would like her name & she told me don’t worry about her name & if I didn’t like how she talked to leave. Again I am a black woman in the middle of the night trying to get a room the staff probably thought I was a prostitute and gave me a hard time on purpose. It was my birthday and I was trying to get away from an abusive partner be mindful you never know what ppl are going through ! Very rude and unacceptable service @ Chris , Expedia is waiting for you to approve my refund ! Since I was racially profiled & unable to stay ! I was told they tr

The customer service was top notch by all the staff we encountered and dealt with. We were overall very happy with our stay. We went to CT, sadly, for a funeral. Knowing that, the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate and comfort us however they could.

The lobby was nicely updated and staff was great. Actual rooms are very dated and could use a deep clean. I did not use the pool or any other amenities so cannot comment on that. The hotel is located in a corporate park and is a bit far of a walk from the train station and downtown Stamford (15 minutes give or take) so I felt pretty confined to the hotel for restaurant options since I was traveling alone and getting an Uber to go a mile seemed a little silly to me. It's not that I'm unwilling to walk a mile but I don't want do that at night in a place that is not densely populated and lit well by streetlights. I had dinner one night at the hotel and it was fine but as can be expected with most hotels the menu was pretty limited a bit overpriced but that's kinda how it goes. Overall if I stay in Stamford again I will seek a hotel that is closer to the downtown area.

Nice hotel for those planning to spend a couple of days in the area for business. It's on the other side of downtown across the turnpike but the area is pretty walkable so no issue there. The hotel itself has all the amenities you'd want. Very pleasant stay, all in all.

The front desk staff was excellent! Real "people people"! The food was ABOMINABLE, in other words REALLY BAD. It was SO OBVIOUS that the lowest quality ingredients was used for everything except the fresh berries. The coffee was exceptionally disgusting - it tasted like stale, old beans were used since even a fresh pot was barely drinkable. And it was lukewarm-even the fresh pot/cold after putting in milk. Very dissapointing. The STAFF WAS LOVELY and VERY HOSPITABLE. Considering the breakfast was so expensive, I expected quality ($30)! I will never eat there again.

Bathroom is dated. Toilet is too low to the ground. Wallpaper is coming off and the bathroom door is in poor shape. Glass roof in the lobby is full of bird poop and needs a good cleaning. The food in the Tavalo restaurant is not worth the $25 per person. Pancakes are dry and taste so bland. Bread is old.

Overall good stay. The room was great! Very comfortable bed, great pillows, nice shower pressure. Room was a good sized. Nice bar and lobby area. They were nice enough to let us check in early, which was fantastic. The only bummer was there was no lunch and zero offerings. The little store was locked because “she was on break” and no one offered to let me in to grab a drink and some crackers or something. Ordered Uber Eats and it was there in 45 mins. The staff was not friendly. No smiles from any of them. Having higher customer service expectations could bring this hotel up from average to outstanding. Would I stay again? Yep, close to train station and descent price.

I didn't see any work spaces. The food at the restaurant for dinner was overpriced and not very good. The breakfast was overpriced and my husband said it was terrible. They had a small store but every time I walked by it it seemed to be closed there were no hours for it. The bathroom had seen better days the bottom of the door inside was chipping. The staff of the hotel were really helpful. I would like to thank the staff at the front desk for their help in getting to a few local places. They really made my stay that much better. My only complaint is the limited hours available for dining and the lack of room service.
