The suite we ended up in was old and worn... The curtains were moth eaten, the toilet was cracked, and the garbage disposal reeked of old food. There were goldfish crackers under the pull out couch and though there were three of us staying in the room the pull out was not made up. (We did request it) Getting extra towels, pillows and sheets was a project and we were given only one extra even though we asked for more. The gentlemen who manned the desk was rude to me and other customers. Breakfast was a disappointment with limited options and running out of most of the food. The parking garage was creepy and had low clearance, with some areas inaccessible due to furniture storage. It also was difficult to pull into both the garage and to the spaces because they were so cramped.

Within an hour of check in we were not comfortable, the elevator did not feel stable, sheets were dirty, the pictures on the site are old- nothing looks the same, it is very run down and dirty. We only felt secure in the building because the police station was right next door. We contacted the “24” hour costumer service and lost connection 3 times- we requested a refund so we could check out and leave- the response was not supportive. We asked for a supervisor and after being put on hold was told they would call us back in 24 hrs.

The pictures on Expedia and their own website are lies!!! This place is out of date from the windows to the wall. The garage looks like an abandon storage room with old mattress, rusty up car and furniture. Therefore I checked in and checked out less than six minutes. Stay at your own risk!!!!

The hotel suite was larger than I expected. The staff was professional and friendly. The noise from the residential families was a minor nuisance. The halls, elevator, bathroom and common areas where dirty. No hot water or tea bags at breakfast.

Not good. Old. Closet doors broken and wouldn’t close. Kinda grungy. Almost impossible to dead bolt the main room door. No ice machine on site. Beds very uncomfortable. Lumpy and over used. Linens clean though. Won’t go back.

This hotel was a disappointment. Pictures made this place look amazing but was not the case upon our arrival. The hotel and mostly the hallways and rooms had a horrible smell. The rooms are very big but they need so much work. The appearance was not appealing. Carpet was chopped up and not repaired properly. Old appliances and the black out shades did not close properly some were broken. They shouldn’t even claim to serve breakfast because there was hardly anything available and not a comfortable place to sit and eat. We ended up eating somewhere else. Unfortunately, I do look for a place with breakfast to make it convenient to have a meal or something before I head out. If I didn’t arrive so late and exhausted, I would’ve definitely look for another hotel.

This was false advertising at its greatest level. This place was NOT clean at all. The aspect of this place looked from 30 years ago, the bedsheets were not soft. They felt like canvas. The entire lobby, elevator, rooms, even the curtain with the hotel name outside were very dirty and unappealing. This place looked nothing like the photo used to advertise this place. The Continental breakfast was all but "Continental". I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

We loved all the dining options that were just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is outdated but it was very clean and the suites were spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

SIMPLY HORRIFIC, a NIGHTMARE! To begin with had I seen the room before I checked in (and paid your quoted rate + a surprise nonrefundable $100 deposit demanded at the arrival) my husband and I would have immediately gone elsewhere!!! The room and furnishings were all old and used far beyond normal wear and tear!!! There wear varied stains (black, red, yellow) on the floors and carpet! There were complete areas of the carpet that were raveled completely across the room. The plumbing in the bathroom stool ran continuously. There was white powder around the closet floor corners which was possibly some kind of disinfectant or chemical. And each time we left and returned to the room we would have to get a new key because the keys would not hold data. There was even a huge place in the hallway floor with broken tiles due to the uneven floor. The elevators were dirty and filthy. The interior room photos provided online certainly do not match the reality. I registered my complaint with management and even showed them all the photos I had taken and they agreed. Management shared that they were under new ownership and was willing to make an adjustment BUT claimed they could not because we had booked the stay online though your service. This property should not be offered under your banner. We have used your service previously and have been completely satisfied. This seriously hinders our confidence in sharing or booking future rentals through your service!

This hotel has a mouse infestation! The first night we were there we heard a snap and then screeching. A mouse had been trapped in a mousetrap under the refrigerator. It was alive and kept thrashing about. They did not have maintenance available and so put us in a different (smaller room). Close inspection revealed mouse traps hidden around that room as well. Apparently, this is a problem they are well aware of. Reception was rude when I asked at check out for at least a refund in the price between the larger room that I paid for and the smaller room that I ended up staying in. They have not even offered to refund that or responded to my requests to do so. The purported breakfast they offer was pretty much non-existent (they put out enough for about 5 guests) and the milk was chunky.

My husband has cancer, and we had to cancel our vacation to accommodate his tests. We live an hour+ away from Stamford, so we thought we'd spend the night there so we wouldn't have to get up early to drive to the testing site. And try to make a fun stay in the middle of this difficult time. So I was disappointed that it wasn't in better shape. Plusses: the room was clean and spacious, the wifi and elevator worked. The sofa was hard but comfy enough, and we watched a couple of TV shows. We didn't use the kitchen, but the counters were damaged. Cosmetic, but it added to a negative overall impression. Minuses: The room smelled of the cleaner hotels use to mask the smell of smoke. The whole place did. The bathroom light was very dim. The shower had a handheld shower head and no door, so the water went everywhere. I cleaned it up. The water temperature was impossible to control and I nearly scalded myself. The toilet made scary noises after flushing, but nothing bad happened. The bedroom lights: 2 out of 5 worked: 1 worked after we jiggled the base and tightened the bulb, the two reading lights didn't work at all. One of them lacked a bulb. The bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress too hard, pillows too soft. I'm a mess of aches today. Breakfast was continental, serve yourself. Your choice of carb, plus coffee, tea, and milk.

Hands down the worst Hotel I have ever been to. I never leave hotel reviews and usually go with the flow, but this was so ridiculous I had to leave a review. There\'s a long list of issues, but the highlights are: 1) the whole hotel is so rundown and feels dingy (ripped furniture, broken elevators, chipped walls), 2) during check-in they tried to say I owed them again for the room even though I booked and already paid through Expedia (this was eventually resolved), 3) they had the whole lobby ripped up as they were casually doing "renovations" (had never seen anything like it), and 4) there was no extra bedding or sheets in the rooms (not to mention basic things like hangars or other things you\'d expect in a hotel closet) so I had to use towels as blankets when sleeping on the pullout bed that first night. And if all that wasn\'t enough, the first morning WE SAW A RAT IN OUR ROOM! Needless to say we left immediately after seeing that. We had booked a stay for 2 nights, but after getting in late that first night, we were gone by 7am the next morning and said we were never coming back. On the way out we told the assistant manager about the rat and how we were leaving for another hotel. Her response was along the lines of "oh, ok, something will be done", not "OMG, what?!", which definitely made it seem like this was not the first time she\'s heard that before. STAY AWAY!

I didn’t like that there was kids running around the hallways. The air conditioners were ancient and were so loud it kept me up all night. The room looked like it was old but at least clean. The sofa in the living room was old and stained. It looked like a crack house. Never again at least the bed was clean and the lady at the front desk was very sweet.

The room itself was big it was more like a small one bedroom apartment. It had alot of closets. But it was dirty with old warn out rugs and curtains. The smoke detector did not work nor did it have a battery. Half the lights and electric outlets did not work. No usb ports. There was a mouse trap in the kitchen on the floor. The walls where thin you could everything in the hallway and next door. There were no extra blankets and pillows for the pull out couch. No free breakfast. Just coffee and old fruit. The soap container in the shower were empty. The elevator was disgusting. The whole building was very dirty.

Don't. Just don't. I've never canceled a hotel before. I think even the staff understands the condition. The one saving grace was that the bed linens were clean and the room was spacious. I would suggest finding another place.

It was a very large room that fit 3 adults and 3 kids easy. The kitchen was perfect size to move around. The place was perfect clean we had a whirlpool in the bathroom which was large and stocked with soap and shampoo in big bottles. Linen was clean. Just an exceptional staff!

The suite we ended up in was old and worn... The curtains were moth eaten, the toilet was cracked, and the garbage disposal reeked of old food. There were goldfish crackers under the pull out couch and though there were three of us staying in the room the pull out was not made up. (We did request it) Getting extra towels, pillows and sheets was a project and we were given only one extra even though we asked for more. The gentlemen who manned the desk was rude to me and other customers. Breakfast was a disappointment with limited options and running out of most of the food. The parking garage was creepy and had low clearance, with some areas inaccessible due to furniture storage. It also was difficult to pull into both the garage and to the spaces because they were so cramped.

They requested a $300 deposit which was never communicated prior to my stay. The first room I had smelled terrible and the lights in the bed room didn’t work. I received another room and then I went to turn on the water in the bathroom and it came out black. Actual black water. I immediately went to check out. I did not stay at this place. So disappointed.

I highly recommend this hotel to stay at !!!! I stay here at least 6 to 10 nights a month for the last few months and every time I stay here it’s just a great place Every morning as soon as you get off the elevator in the lobby the staff members at the front desk say “good morning and have a great day” When you stay there the manager is very friendly and helpful Overall it’s a great place

We paid for our room on line. Once we got there we were told that we needed to allow them to change our CC one hundred dollars that would be returned after our stay and we still have not received our refund. It took 20 min to check in because their new computer system. The staff at front desk were friendly and nice. They kept apologizing. There was a party next to our room. It seemed more than 20 young adults in that room. So loud and noisy. We smelled weed smoking from the next door. Staff from the front desk responded well and came twice to kick out extra people from that room. However, there was only 5 min quiet time. 2am I had to go to front desk to request to switch the room. However, I was told there was no room available due to being overbooked. They have the problem in their new computer system. I heard the manager on the phone to talk with his front desk staff that I could leave to find other hotel because there was no room to switch. It was 2 am! This was not professional communication at all. I paid the hotel for sleep which I didn’t have for the night. Will never book this hotel any more.

The property is “tired”. Had a reservation for “no pet room”, they had to move us to a 2nd room when I went back to desk to confirm. Woman at desk was on phone the entire time I checked in, & 2nd time I was at desk! It was weekend so could park in local business attached lot. Police across street, so seemed safe.

Not a bad stay overall. Nice location opposite the police headquarters and courthouse. Friendly staff. Brianna the hostess was very nice. The suite was very large. The only thing is that the carpet needs changing. The continental breakfast wasn't appetizing but there's food all around the area. But all in all it was an enjoyable stay.

This hotel was a disappointment. Pictures made this place look amazing but was not the case upon our arrival. The hotel and mostly the hallways and rooms had a horrible smell. The rooms are very big but they need so much work. The appearance was not appealing. Carpet was chopped up and not repaired properly. Old appliances and the black out shades did not close properly some were broken. They shouldn’t even claim to serve breakfast because there was hardly anything available and not a comfortable place to sit and eat. We ended up eating somewhere else. Unfortunately, I do look for a place with breakfast to make it convenient to have a meal or something before I head out. If I didn’t arrive so late and exhausted, I would’ve definitely look for another hotel.

The check in process was great. The representative was very friendly at check in. The room was ok, the window was missing a part of a part of the curtain. We went down for breakfast at 9 and there was barely any breakfast left. When we asked, we were told breakfast was pretty much almost done for the day as breakfast started at 6am. Breakfast was from 6-10am. In all hotels I have stayed in the past if breakfast is until 10 that means there should be breakfast until 10am. I have never heard that breakfast is first come first served as it was told to us. I did not like the service. I would honestly never stay or recommend this hotel. For the price we paid this was not great service or quality.

When I booked I accidentally clicked twice. I immediately contacted the hotel and when I checked in they said they had fixed it but two charges appeared on my credit card. I then tried to contact them but they didn’t answer the phone. Hotels.com tried but they said “no refunds”. I had to contest it with my credit card company. When I came down for coffee there was none. They said it would be “20 minutes” for coffee. Half an hour later someone shows up with two cans of “chock full o’ nuts” (not coffee) then it took another half hour to brew. The room was clean but I cannot recommend staying here.

The hallways and rooms stink, i was afraid to sit on the chairs and couch.No in- room coffee or toaster and the breakfast is pathetic only crappy croissants and cereal. No jams or bread for toast, yes there is a small toaster in the lobby. No cleaning supplies for the kitchen, such as soap or dishcloths. Only 1 air conditioner worked. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The only real thing that I liked during my stay was the jacuzzi in the room. What I didn’t like was the complimentary breakfast with nothing but bagels and cereal and yogurt. And apparently the breakfast hours were from 6:00-10:00. I came down at 7:00 and there wasn’t anymore bagels or orange juice. My complaint is if your complimentary breakfast is at certain hours you should have food available until it’s closed. That wasn’t the case during my stay. The cabinets in the kitchen are falling off the hinges and a lot of work needs to be done to help upgrade the suites. I also had problems with the toilet as well. I am not satisfied with my stay. I spent a lot of money for my stay and I know I didn’t get my monies worth. Your front desk supervisor Tara was outstanding and was very professional along with your 2nd and 3rd shift personnel as well. Your housekeepers did a fantastic job and assisted my family when they needed it. A little paint in the rooms would also make it look a lot better and some extra care would be great. I don’t see myself ever staying there again. I was born in Stamford and lived about 30 years of my life there. I do hope that my review will help someone to see how much work truly needs to be done to your suites. The money that’s being paid to stay there should be used to make it a more enjoyable and memorable stay which was not done on my part. I will not recommend anyone to stay there and to spend there money elsewhere.
