good solid value hotel for stamford

Just a basic hotel. Room was large and clean. Parking is easy. Central location. The front desk staff member is fast but a bit unwelcoming and disinterested. Overall, a decent no-friils value if you just need a place to sleep.

Not very satisfied with breakfast. Parking was good and we felt safe. Being next to I 95 and the old building, you could hear loud truck traffic all night. In addition to car alarms in the local area. Bed and pillows were so hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. I believe sleeping in the car would have been more comfortable. We never did get any sleep. Seeing people in the lobby in the morning it looked like no one got sleep the night before. It was not worth staying at this hotel for any reason and we will never sleep there again.

We did t have breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean, however it desperately needs to be renovated. The wallpaper and bedspread look like they’re from the 50’s. And they could use quilts on the beds instead of very thin blankets and bedspreads.

Breakfast is a total joke, old bananas or a plastic wrapped apple with a day old croissant. I walked
