The gym was closed (never open after COVID - they said they need to fix some machines), and the room was very dirty - sticky floor and furniture, etc. The window frame was broken. Bad smell in the hallway, on the stairs, and in the room.

property obviously undergoing extensive makeover .The staff however is fantastic .Well located for good restaurants and fast food places .Easy on and off Freeway .The handicap room needs work .just let staff know what is lacking and it goes on their prority list .I would stay again .Needs more washer and dryers.

The rooms must be newly redone. They have vinyl flooring and memory foam beds. The room was perfect for our needs for one night. And biggest bonus is they are pet friendly. I would stay again. The price is great.

I made the mistake of purchasing the stay through trip advisor, had I been at hotel desk and seen/smelled the room, I would have requested my money back. The lobby leads one to believe that this is a nice hotel, it isn’t. My room was upstairs, no elevator, so carry your bags up, stairwell smelled like an electrical fire, no idea what that was from, and you need a room key to access stairwell, which starts up from inside entrance foyer, so that didn’t give me a good feeling as regards my car in parking lot. The 1970’s era couch smelled so bad from disinfectant I now know what “cloying” means, smell lingered in my mouth and throat, tub was so filthy I wished I had shower shoes, the A/C unit worked, but failed to cool the room when set on cold all night. The bathrooms have dispensers instead of bottles of soap and shampoo, great idea when they work, one didn’t. Found TV remote didn’t work when I got to room, nor had they given me WiFi password, called front desk, no answer, left message, never heard back. Pretty much a theme there, when I checked in, I asked about coffee in morning, was told I had coffee maker in room, but no, I did not. No customer service here, didn’t even give me a room receipt and wouldn’t assign points for the stay. Red Roof used to be a go to for me when traveling, now I don’t dare make a reservation without seeing the place first, this place is giving the franchise a really bad name.

BEWARE!!!! My family stayed here on our way up north. The hallways and rooms smelled like smoke which is weird there are signed all over the place about NOT smoking in the rooms. The rooms were filthy. We couldn’t bring ourselves to use the blankets on the beds, they were stained and cigarette burns on the blankets. Gross, is the only word I can think of that describes it!

This is the nastiest hotel I ever stayed in. I know you can’t expect a lot of a Red Roof but I just needed the bare minimum: a decent clean room. The first room they gave us smelled like piss. The hotel in general smell like piss and cigarettes. The girl at the front desk was nice and had to give us another room. It didn't smell like piss but not good either, the sheets have stains and there are dead bugs and mold in the bathroom. It's not worth it, just save yourself.

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. If I could have found another room elsewhere, I would not have stayed one night. The floors were filthy, elevators broken, microwave broken, bedspreads dirty, hallways smelled like pot, no continental breakfast which was fine because the lobby was disgusting, no phone in the room, etc etc. Overall, a horrible experience!!

My room was horrible. The window was dirty. The floor was dirty and like it was never ever mopped. The wardrobe.has a large amount of dust on it. The bathroom tub was black and disgusting. When you walk up the stairs the handrail was weak and coming out the wall. I have a bad knee. Holding on is important. The refrigerator in the room was nasty and had black ice built up in the inside freezer. Staff was shocked when I asked for my money back. Horrible site.

If we weren\'t stuck with no options on a holiday weekend, we\'d have left. Family-owned businesses are great, but the young person who checked me in had no idea what she was doing, unfortunately. Once we got through a rocky check in, she handed me my key and I asked her about the next room. She said, you only had one and I showed her my reservation for two rooms. Reservations were placed Feb. 5 for Memorial Day weekend, last weekend in May with a very important request for side by side rooms. Our 85 year-old grandmother was not placed next to us as requested almost 4 months in advance so we were not as near to her in the event of an emergency or danger, which had us all on edge. Clerk was apathetic. When my father-in-law came walking into a side door of the lobby while I was still checking in and said that seemed very unsafe, the staff said, quote, "Don\'t worry about it." Fire door has signage but doesn\'t close! Hotel stunk of dog pee in every corridor. Our rooms were filthy, we have almost forty photos of filth on walls, floors, doors, the toilet, microwave, gnats, bugs. Splashes of food filth on the bed skirts. Used a bath towel to mop up some water and the floor turned it black. There was sludge on the toilet seat that wiped away with ease when we cleaned. We were only able to stay because we asked the front desk for bleach & a cleaning rag and cleaned the facilities ourselves. They were supposed to send someone to clean and they did not. Poor service across the board.

It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The stairs & hall smelled. The shower caddy had fallen & was in the shower. I asked for it be fixed while I went to dinner. They put it back on shower, it fell off again at 3:30am, scared me half to death & woke us up. We told the front desk there was no soap in the caddy by sink. When we got back from eating it still wasn’t full & there were two travel size slices of soap that smelled awful. Oh and there was no shampoo in shower caddy. No blow dryer, the floor was sticky as was the remote!! I would never go back!!!

I am waiting for a refund. Expedia charged me for both rooms. My brother wanted to pay cash. If the guy at the counter would have educated on the process, he should have told me I was charged. And my brother could have paid me instead he took the cash . The manager said he would get back to me.

Key cards keep locking you out and you need to get to the front desk every other day to fix, you can get in the building but not your room and it’s very inconvenient when your arms are full and you need to leave your stuff unattended at your door or lug it all with you to front desk. Front desk empty and ring bell to wake them up and give you attitude like your inconveniencing them

The check in and out staff were very friendly, kind and considerate. The room was a comfortable temp as it was 95 outside. Very clean room with bright comfy beds. Heard no noise and slept well. The room price was perfect too. I would like to commend the front desk women, whom I will guess is the owner, who was handling a difficult client in a very warm and kind manner. She must be a pro in conflict resolution. We will stay here again as we have family in town and visit frequently. Thank you.

If we weren\'t stuck with no options on a holiday weekend, we\'d have left. Family-owned businesses are great, but the young person who checked me in had no idea what she was doing, unfortunately. Once we got through a rocky check in, she handed me my key and I asked her about the next room. She said, you only had one and I showed her my reservation for two rooms. Reservations were placed Feb. 5 for Memorial Day weekend, last weekend in May with a very important request for side by side rooms. Our 85 year-old grandmother was not placed next to us as requested almost 4 months in advance so we were not as near to her in the event of an emergency or danger, which had us all on edge. Clerk was apathetic. When my father-in-law came walking into a side door of the lobby while I was still checking in and said that seemed very unsafe, the staff said, quote, "Don\'t worry about it." Fire door has signage but doesn\'t close! Hotel stunk of dog pee in every corridor. Our rooms were filthy, we have almost forty photos of filth on walls, floors, doors, the toilet, microwave, gnats, bugs. Splashes of food filth on the bed skirts. Used a bath towel to mop up some water and the floor turned it black. There was sludge on the toilet seat that wiped away with ease when we cleaned. We were only able to stay because we asked the front desk for bleach & a cleaning rag and cleaned the facilities ourselves. They were supposed to send someone to clean and they did not. Poor service across the board.

The staff was very helpful in getting me in early due to changes in my travel plans. I arrived hours ahead of schedule but they took care of me. Great job! The only complaint I might have is that it looked like someone had been living in their car right outside the building. If the car were moved to the wood line it would help make the place look more inviting.

Place is run down. A lot of activity in the parking lot late at night. People just hanging out. Did not feel safe. I’m pretty sure some of the people that live there. You get what you pay for. Never again.

Easy in easy out, bed and shower with small TV that worked. It’s an older property and could use some upgrades. I tried not to look too closely for dirt, and critters. I just needed a night’s sleep. It was in a good location for me.

I enjoyed the 3 night visit with family. The motel was very convenient to family, good restaurants, and shopping. Also, there was access to a hiking trailhead about a quarter of a mile down the road. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable, and the price was within budget. The Vernon Diner was convenient for breakfast. A favorite!

It was just OK. When we arrived the computer system was down, I know that wasn't the receptionist fault, but she didn't know what room to put us in. Only1 coffee packet for two guests. Someone sleeping in the lobby. However, I would stay there again for its location.

Entering the hotel was very old school in the red roof in time frame. Was greeted and welcomed in by the nice staff. We then checked into our room, clean and newer redone. The beds made us laugh because they were so high, had to climb in them. The shower was nice pressure and hot. The lack of any breakfast offerings was a bad thing. Coffee was there and again the nice staff grabbed me milk. But all in all would recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I will never go there again! The first room had a cockroach, that we killed and brought to the front desk to show the girl at the front desk so she moved us to another room, the bed had hairs and crumbs wich I wiped away but when I lifted the pillow there was ham or some old piece of lunch meat !!! We were given a third room and it was ok until the morning when we had to shower. There was no pressure and was unable to shower!!! The manager didn't do anything to compensate us. We just walked out because we were going to be late for a very important meeting.

This room was offensive smelling. The tub was filthy. I cannot think of a way to describe the lack of taste or warmth this room offered. We were honestly afraid to touch any bathroom surface or walk without shoes on the floor. It’s obscene that they charge money to stay there. It should be shut down or maybe it could be more suitable as a small prison. Do not waste your money! I assure you sleeping in your car would be better. And although this was a horrible experience, the gentleman who checked us in was lovely and very friendly
