Pool has been closed for a long time and staff told me they didn’t know when it will open. Only one elevator worked. My fridge didn’t get cold. No stopper in my sink and breakfast was disgusting, was planning on going back if things were fixed but no chance

We have stayed here 3 Christmas nights as we visit family in Connecticut. It is an average hotel - good for sleeping over. Breakfast is included - nothing elaborate: continental items, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea. Ice machine not working. One elevator not working.

1 Elevator broken, down buttons not working on the other one. Pool closed, fitness center mostly broken. Disgruntled guests everywhere. WiFi is terrible. Stains on rugs. No towel rack in the bathroom. Unresponsive management. Very poorly maintained facility.

"Dirty" is the most applicable word to describe this place. The hallway and room carpets needs to be steam-cleaned...twice; the parking lot, sidewalks, stairwells, lobby area and entrance ways look as if they haven't been cleaned in weeks; and the pool was shut down over six months ago by the local health department and hasn't opened since. On top of the dirtiness, the service staff seemed indifferent at best. We had to remind the front desk that they advertised a change of bed linen and towels after the third night. We twice had to ask for extra toilet paper, and when we arrived, there was no soap in the bathroom; and when we asked to exchange some bills for quarters to use in their guest laundry machines, they had a total of two quarters at the front desk and suggested we go over to the adjacent convenience store to get what we needed! As if that weren't enough, the front desk was reluctant to switch us to another room when we complained that there was a puddle of water under our sink. Instead, we wound up having to place a couple of towels on the floor to keep the water from spreading. It's almost as if the management is going out of its way to discourage guests from staying here.

Its old and small rooms and really small baths. Size cant br changed but definitely coukd use facelift. Paint on walls chipped, elevator not very clean and only one operating and doesn’t stop at 2nd floor. 2 bed rooms were double beds, however, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Pool was shut fown in August by health dept. and still not open. Kids were disappointed. Very limited in breakfast items. Ran out of stuff . Were only there 1 night and t was ok but wouldn’t stay there again. Staff was kind and polite.

Our drivers side window was 1 of 7 smashed out in the middle of the night and we woke up to a letter from the police on the windshield. We were parked under a light in the open. Of course, originally didn't think the hotel was to blame however found out that 14 cars had the windows smashed out a week prior. The breakfast was not a buffet as advertised. If you stay here be prepared to be sweeping up glass...

We entered the lobby and were greeted by three big garbage bags and a smell right next to the elevator, as well as a roach crawling on the counter. As we checked in, hoping that was not a sign of the room status, we then were interrupted by a couple who complained about 11 health code violations in their room/hallway. We checked our room, again hopeful, and decided to check out after 20 minutes of a dog barking in the room next door and mysterious stains on the bed and floor.

This hotel was very dirty, had to switch rooms due to lots of roaches being in the bathroom. The workers were stalking on everyone, knocking on everyone’s doors at 2am. Couldn’t take the food from the lobby breakfast upstairs to your room. Found a receipt from 8/15/25 on 9/13/25 wrapped in the sheets showing that they do not change sheets in between. Stains on the beds and on the curtains. 3rd floor smelled like cat piss. Pool has been closed due to health purposes for over a month! Ice machines do not work and ice room was flooded with no wet floor signs. Cops were there every single day of my stay multiple times. People sleeping in the lobby.

The carpets were filthy filthy dirty stained in the hallways and in the rooms. There were cockroaches in the bedroom. The manager was rude nasty prejudicial, abusive to women. The worst experience I have ever had in the world. I wouldn't even let a bum stay here, oh by the way they were homeless people living here put there by social services. So you're getting a room or a hotel room and you're sharing it with homeless and social service clientele.

The smoke detector was pulled out of the wall and there were just bare wires, it looked like blood splatter on the curtains, floor was sticky, bathroom had no towels or TP, the “down” button on the elevator was busted, pool was closed, and they refused to give us a refund. I have never left a hotel before but place was so awful I had to go. Also the staff were rude, unreasonable and dishonest.

Perhaps the nastiest hotel I've ever seen. Cockroaches on the walls and dried semen on the comforters. I left after an hour, tried to get a refund from the Comfort inn and Hotels.com it was denied. Spent $150 on a hotel I never stayed at.

Stayed on the 3rd floor and the Elevator was broken as well as my room door lock, took me a few minutes to enter the room. Even when I asked for assistance, took the gentleman a ling while as well even when he used the original key to try and open the door. Also, asked house-keeping for 2 trash bags and I stood there waiting on them and did not recieved them. Otherwise, the convenience of the property is ok. Check in was ok as well as checking out.

Long wait for check in, was told she couldn’t add my loyalty number or name to reservation even though it was made on my account. Once in room, I noticed the paint hanging and peeling in the shower, Kleenex box was shattered and I cut my finger trying to get a tissue out. Carpets are stained and dirty… and they collect $50 for incidentals. The toilet seat doesn’t even fit the toilet

Stayed for a quick night to attend a wedding. Hotel is conveniently located right off of the highway. Ample parking and felt safe. This hotel is pet friendly. Check in was quick but upon getting off on our floor I got a quick wiff of smoke. Walking into the room I decided to go back down and ask for another room. It smelled like they tried to mask the smell of marijuana in the room but failed. It was good for a quick cheap night’s sleep but wouldn’t stay here for more than that.

This hotel was ok for 2 adults, but I wouldn’t advise families to stay here. The elevators are small and buttons don’t work. The breakfast was only so so and they were out of things. Ni lounge area only two chairs. The carpets could use an updating. The staff were friendly. The wifi was horrible. You have to frequently sign in and hope it works. Great water pressure in the very small bathrooms.

The shower was really poor. The shower rod was bent down and the curtain hung down on the bathtub floor. The sort of thing that had been that way for a while and should have been inspected and repaired. The room also smelled a little dank and rank upon entering. Not extreme, but not pleasant either.

I really liked the hotel. It’s an older building, but it’s really nice. Breakfast is great here. They have a waffle iron and they are so delicious. The room is very nice. The beds are very comfortable. There are two things that annoyed me. 1. The rooms phone doesn’t work at all. 2. There’s not black-out curtains. The maids here are fantastic.

I had breakfast 3 out of 8 days. They kept running out of eggs and sausage. My last day I came down and the desk agent was yelling at a family that had been there the same amount of time as me, as he was complaining again they were out of food again. I find it ridiculous that she was yelling at us because we were disgruntled about not getting our breakfasts. I am also disgusted about not getting my room cleaned. I asked 4 times after being there for 3 days. I wanted my trash cans emptied and new towls. I asked everyday for 5 more days and still never done. I finally had to ask for toilet paper and fresh towels at the front desk. Ridiculous!!!!! I also talked to another gentleman who had been there a month and they refuse to clean his room and run the vacuum. The elevator button to 1st floor was broken in one of the two elevators. So we had to send it to another floor and wait for the other one to come to get to 1st floor. The management and owner of this hotel needs to all be fired. The staff blamed the owner for not ordering enough food.

I asked 4 times to have my room cleaned. It never happened in the 9 days there. I had to get towels and toilet paper from the front desk. The breakfast was never filled in a timely manner and the day after Easter there was no food at all at 8:10am The one girl doingbreakfastwas actinglike the food was coming out of her pocket and was was ridiculous when asked for more eggs and sausage. I had 3 breakfasts out of 9 days because it was ridiculous. Also the elevator was broken and no button to floor one. Always had to wait for other elevator and apparently someone got stuck in it one day. I will never stay here again. Management needs to ridiculed badly.

I did not stay here wasn’t comfortable when I asked for my money back I explained to the manager I wasn’t happy and the reason it took me over 20 minutes to get into the room and it still wasn’t working then I told him from the moment I walked in it wasn’t clean and the bed had hair all over it he got very upset and yelled at me and told me I wasn’t getting anything back and go take him to court

Close to restaurants and coffee shop was the only benefit. However, management initially refused to check me in due to me only having a passport and not a drivers license, which I’ve NEVER had a problem with before. He then proceeded to raise his voice at me when I asked him to pick up the phone to speak with the Expedia representative who was trying to problem solve. He essentially wanted to leave me stranded without a place to stay AND prevent me from getting refunded by Expedia. After the 3rd call and 15 minutes of arguing with me and the rep, he finally checked me in anyways. All he did was type in my address, which I could’ve given to him in the first place? Seemed so unnecessary, I also overheard him being rude to a lady in a wheelchair. He changed his tune after I told him he’s purposefully being unhelpful, but it was too late at that point. I already felt uncomfortable and was worried about him retaliating in some way. I was perfectly fine with staying somewhere else if they couldn’t accept my passport, but his unwillingness to even help me get the reservation cancelled/refunded was ridiculous. The Expedia rep also has never heard of this policy, nor was it in the reservation requirements. His hostility towards me (a younger female) AND an elderly woman is ALARMING. I was very polite considering the circumstances.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was frustrating from start to finish. When we arrived, the bed had visibly dirty linen, and the lamp was unplugged behind the bed—requiring us to physically move furniture just to get basic lighting. The shower towels and washcloths were also dirty, which immediately raised concerns about the overall cleanliness of the room. To make matters worse, while the room had a TV, there was no remote provided, making it unusable. We finally got a remote only for it to not work. We spoke to the manager around 10:00 AM to request fresh bed linen, and were told someone would come shortly to change it. When we returned around noon, nothing had been done. After complaining again at the front desk, someone finally brought us clean sheets—but we were expected to change the bed ourselves. We went back down to express that it’s unacceptable for guests to have to remake a hotel bed due to dirty linens, and the response felt dismissive.

I never was able to check in. The owner/manager was screaming and cursing in the lobby at a guest they would not let check in who was NOT responding in kind with bad behavior. They were on the phone with the prospective guests work supervisor who was also quite angry—but the owner/mgr was much worse. I was trying to check in and could not even hear the front desk clerk question. I said loudly, “I am sorry—I can’t even hear you because your manager is yelling so loud, it’s awful.” He quieted, told the gentleman to leave and hung up the phone. I was asked for ID I showed my passport. The owner/mgr. came behind the reception. The clerk asked me for an ID with an address. I said I booked through Expedia and that usually use my passport as ID. The owner jumped in and said you are paying here. I said I understand, but usually passport is okay. As I extended my license—he said you are terrible. I said no, actually you have been terrible since I walked in here. He said you ate ugly. You need to go look in the mirror to see what I see. I just looked at him and shook my head and chuckled-astounded. He said you get out—you’re not staying here. I said-are you serious. He said yes. I said that’s fine. It’s certainly best. I looked at the two front desk clerks who mutely looked with fixed glazes straight ahead. Not shocked—just stoney. This was NOT new behavior I left. The room was clean. However they didn't check the room to see if we needed anything. When we asked the front desk for some toilet paper, we were told the store room was locked and to go to the store and get some. I did tell the front desk what happen as we were checking out. They showed me the key in the drawer and said they will talk to him. We travel to CT frequently and we will be not staying here again.

Stayed for a quick night to attend a wedding. Hotel is conveniently located right off of the highway. Ample parking and felt safe. This hotel is pet friendly. Check in was quick but upon getting off on our floor I got a quick wiff of smoke. Walking into the room I decided to go back down and ask for another room. It smelled like they tried to mask the smell of marijuana in the room but failed. It was good for a quick cheap night’s sleep but wouldn’t stay here for more than that.

My car was vandalized during the stay. I received many promises that management would contact me and how sorry they were but not one manager reached out to me. This was despite multiple trips to the front desk where they said Casandra would call me soon. All 4 of my tires and wheels were stolen. I footed a towing bill of 500 plus. No assistance or comp offered from hotel. Not even a call. Very dissatisfied

Excellent location, located in a beautiful area., easy walking for dining Pharmacies gas station about anything you want. In fact I had a minor problem with my I phone and there was a Verizon store in walking distance. Everyone on the staf is pleasant helpful and and polite. We just had a great time.

This hotel was only good for what i needed it to be which was to sleep at. I wanted to be close to a testing center. The pool was really nice but it also seemed a little dirty, like it needed to be cleaned. There was a lot of hair balls and foggy water. also, noticed the sign said the first aid kit was in the lobby which was down a long hall and around the corner....NOT SAFE. being in the medical profession i was astounded by that.It should be in the pool area for sure. Staff was nice enough. They gave me towels and toilet paper however my bed was made without a comforter and they didnt have one only a thin blanket. so I had to wait a day for one to be available....breakfast was fine, nothing crazy. I had to change my room bc the tv wasn't working and the room smelled awful..new room kind of smelled bad too but more like pool water or something. but was able to adjust/tolerate. the area around was ok, kinda ghetto to be honest. however there was a lot around and close by which was super nice. the hotel seems a little outdated but it was okay. i saw a bunch of carpet stains and just like run down walls. JUST BEING HONEST! I had a fine time there.I wish there was more areas to sit, like outside (patio or something)

Our drivers side window was 1 of 7 smashed out in the middle of the night and we woke up to a letter from the police on the windshield. We were parked under a light in the open. Of course, originally didn't think the hotel was to blame however found out that 14 cars had the windows smashed out a week prior. The breakfast was not a buffet as advertised. If you stay here be prepared to be sweeping up glass...

You get what you pay for. As you walk in the smell in the lobby is horrible, which made me think it was going to be an awful stay. However, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and kind. The location is accessible to many stores etc. Bad but not that bad.

I had breakfast 3 out of 8 days. They kept running out of eggs and sausage. My last day I came down and the desk agent was yelling at a family that had been there the same amount of time as me, as he was complaining again they were out of food again. I find it ridiculous that she was yelling at us because we were disgruntled about not getting our breakfasts. I am also disgusted about not getting my room cleaned. I asked 4 times after being there for 3 days. I wanted my trash cans emptied and new towls. I asked everyday for 5 more days and still never done. I finally had to ask for toilet paper and fresh towels at the front desk. Ridiculous!!!!! I also talked to another gentleman who had been there a month and they refuse to clean his room and run the vacuum. The elevator button to 1st floor was broken in one of the two elevators. So we had to send it to another floor and wait for the other one to come to get to 1st floor. The management and owner of this hotel needs to all be fired. The staff blamed the owner for not ordering enough food.

The stairwell smelled as though it had been used as a toilet and hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time. Room carpet worn, had holes and needed cleaned. Lamp shades dented. Toilet didn't flush properly. No washrags in room and only 2 bath towels. Furniture scratched, chipped and dented. Housekeeping staff apparently does not understand English. Breakfast was good and plenty of food offered. Desk clerks were friendly.

Its old and small rooms and really small baths. Size cant br changed but definitely coukd use facelift. Paint on walls chipped, elevator not very clean and only one operating and doesn’t stop at 2nd floor. 2 bed rooms were double beds, however, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Pool was shut fown in August by health dept. and still not open. Kids were disappointed. Very limited in breakfast items. Ran out of stuff . Were only there 1 night and t was ok but wouldn’t stay there again. Staff was kind and polite.

Both online and in the room book state that breakfast was until 10am but ehen we got to the breakfast room around 9:10 it was closed with a sign on the door that breakfast was until 9am. The next morning we got there before 9 and it was disappointing. They were out of just about everything and there werent many choices. The room was okay. The property isn’t clean, elevators are in disrepair. Rooms are dirty, sheets dirty and stained, television broken, breakfast buffet was one waffle maker and white bread. The staff didn’t want to change my room when I told them the tv didn’t work. They did, but not without rolling her eyes at me. NEVER AGAIN!

Lots of work going on at the hotel so no stair access. The room was okay, but stained carpets, a bathtub that wouldn't drain, low water pressure at the sink, took an extended period to get hot water to sink or tub. Towels were extensively used. For $100/night... this was ridiculous. When I asked at the desk about the above, "Sorry" was the reply. Nothing else. Too bad so sad.
