The room was clean, staff friendly and breakfast ok. My disappointment was with the pool area. My main purpose in this trip was to sit in a hot tub and soak while the grands played in the pool. There is no hot tub as advertised and the pool looks as if the filtration system isn't working well. The water seemed to have a lot of floaties, even at 11am after having been closed 12 hours. Hotel is fine for a bed and breakfast but not a good place to take kids swimming.

Great Handicap accessible room and bathroom! Indoor heated pool in December open until 11pm daily. Free breakfast each morning and coffee is available 24/7. Room was very clean and comfortable. I had recommended it to several people and they all agreed so much better than previous hotel we used the last time we were here.

Overall, the hotel was clean. It's located next to a train rail. The night staff made our check-in go smoothly. The room was clean & the beds were comfortabl (only minor issue was the shower handle came off & a small crack on the toilet seat).There was a 24 hour coffee/tea station. The free continental breakfast was a good variety.....they could have had more fruits & jelly spread. The pool was warm, but murky & needs to be cleaned out. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that my daughter's sneakers were stolen. Outside of that, the hotel was a decent place to stay for the price.

Bathroom was dirty, hair everywhere in the shower, shower curtain had either blood or vomit stains on it, walls in bathroom has stuff stuck all over one wall, tissue holder falling off the wall, ceiling was chipped/cracked over bed, mirror was dirty. easily the dirtiest room i have ever stayed in. booked for 3 nights in a pet friendly room, i ended up checking out the following morning. room smelled like stale cigarettes. very dirty. switched rooms, still very dirty. tv didnt work.. so much dog crap outside i couldnt even walk my dogs to use the bathroom. it seems most people in the pet friendly room were full time residents.. 10/10 dont recommend

Disappointed. Paid over $300 for 1 night. Room had dead bugs, bathroom looked clean but hair in shower, exhaust vent dirty, blow dryer not working, window curtains ripped. Breakfast was below par. Area had flies everywhere which made dining difficult. Phone rang at 4am, 4:30am and 5am with dial tone. Seems wake up calls from prior guests not removed. I mentioned these to the front desk, all they said was “we can advise management.” No offer to reduce the ridiculous cost for 1 night stay.

The room had a horrible gut renching smell. The lamps are rusted, along with the hinges and the drain. Not to mention the windoelws look like they have never been cleaned. The blanket on the bed and a stain from only who knows what. I was told i couldnt get another room.

Stayed there for one night. Place was filthy. Dust, rust, calcium deposit build up on shower, ring around toilet, dead spider. Base board look never dusted. Shower head was nasty. Curtains had burn holes in them. Floor was gross couldn’t walk with out shoes on. Just highly disappointed and grossed out.

The curtains were ripped, the TV was so small, we could barely see the action on the screen, and the network kept cutting out. There was water on the bathroom floor when we arrived. There were sketchy looking characters outside of our entrance talking loudly and trying to interact with customers trying to get in. One of them slept in a chair outside all night.

Reserved a single king, hot tub room. The floors were uncarpeted, pergo-style. There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom and near bed area. Also, the phone was inoperable and WiFi in the room was poor and intermittent. We were unable to connect Chromecast for tv streaming and cell WiFi would not stay connected. Check-in was fairly quick and they held on to my expensive shirt I left behind. Plenty of towels, minimal toiletries. Could use a couple more pillows on the bed. Room and fridge we're cooled ahead of time.

The property is older and there is a train next to it (so you will hear the train throughout the night, but we did not hear it Saturday night). It's out dated but they keep it very clean and after a day at a lacrosse tournament in July, all you need is a cool room with a shower and bed. If you just need a place to crash on a long trip, it is fine.

At least three trains went by between midnight and one am blasting their horns. Then at 3 am the sound on our tv went on as if it was set by an alarm. Had to turn the tv on to get the sound to stop. Would suggest asking for a room in the back of the hotel away from the trains.

Desk clerk extorted $20 from me for a half hour early check in fee, even though I was not going to the room, nor did I ask for the key at that time. My wife and I had an event away from the hotel, and would not return until late in the evening. The room had been paid online earlier, and the clerk was non informative on the hours of the breakfast, which was 9 am closing time, and we went down from our room at 9:05 AM the next day for breakfast (too late). The same desk clerk booked a future date room for us, gave us no definitive dollar amount for the room (we had paid $79 for the previous nite). This clerk was not very talkative nor helpful for someone staying there the first time. The clerk asked for my email, and said all done and the reservation confirmation would be emailed to me. Upon my return to my office, I found the reservation email, with the 2 nite reservation at a cost of $630.00 for the two nites. Fire the clerk, and get someone who knows how to treat customers with some care and kindness. Nevermore to this location for a stay!

I accidentally booked the wrong day but the front desk lady was very helpful about it and patient with me while I changed the dates and made sure that we knew she was there for the night if we needed anything. The room was basic which is fine! It’s an older hotel but if you’re passing thru you really can’t beat the rates!

Other occupants were very loud when talking while walking the halls and slammed doors. There also was a train that runs right next door to the property and blows the horn multiple times for about an hour at around 12:30 in the morning and again around 6:30AM while delivering grain across the street.

the bathroom was not clean-counter, around mirror, above shower. place looked worn-and we have been going there for years. breakfast was not up to snuff. the same items were there for the 3 days. no fruit or jelly; worse was the cold eggs and sausage-the gal put out cold food into the warming tray and said to just put in microwave. the people at the desk were very friendly.
