When we first checked in, it took almost 20 minutes as the woman checking us in was inefficient and did not have working equipment. Normally, i would be understanding, however she would look at me like I was stupid often and would speak very slow like I was unable to comprehend what she was explaining. After we finally got our keys, we opened the door to see a broken dresser, wobbly table, creaky bed and a toilet that would take two flushes just to flush. The bed was.covered in stains. I attempted to go wash our clothes after we swam in a cloudy pool and the laundry was broken. I was understanding of that but i would have appreciated a sign before loosing my quarters. While we were attempting to sleep, doors were slammed and people were in the pool all the way til midnight. When we got up, we went to the breakfast to find expired milk, sugarless waffles and no juice nor water. Just frozen sausage sandwiches from walmart and packaged grits were somewhat edible. When we checked out, I was forced to be spoken to like a misbehaving toddler when i was expaining some of my grievances. This was an awful experience.

Hot tub was not open at all, pool was green, the bathtub and liner looked like they haven’t been touched in about a year. There were bugs crawling on the sink area. We staid here to go to the springs near by and would have been better off camping at the local state parks

The hot tub was boarded up probably not used in years. False advertisement. The motel was overbooked we got stuck in an add on room. Old towels old furniture. Dirty room. Tiny tv hung ceiling height. All lights not working. Pillows 1/4 the size of a normal pillow. See through towels.

We were placed in a room adjacent to road workers. They had several loud diesel trucks. We were awakened by the noise. Also the hot tub was not available for use. When we went to the pool area there was a huge Doberman inside the fenced area. The shower appeared to have mold on the ceiling. I was surprised that it was a Wyndham property. I will not be back.

The room reeked of mold & mildew. The floor was like walking on a beach. Hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Lamp shades were water stained and rusty. The paint was scraped and peeling from both sides of the bathroom door and the inside of the entry door. The AC sounded like a plane taking off. I've stayed in mom & pops that were much better

Once we walked into our room there was an overwhelming smell of mildew and water damage on the ceiling and walls. There were roaches in the bathroom and my son walked from one end of the room to the other amd his feet were black. Absolutely disgusting. People letting their children up screaming up and down the halls at all hours of the night and day. I felt unsafe as i was walking alone and two men followed me to my room and not even an hour later those same men were trying to peak through the window.

Room was very dirty. There was mold on the toilet as well as the shower curtain was covered in mold. The hardware in the shower and sink were ancient and worked poorly. Sink was slow to drain. The room just smelled very musty and looked like it has not been cleaned in years.

The first room I was given upon arrival was infested with roaches, and unfortunately, there were no other hotels available that night, so they gave me another room and although after inspecting the room, I didn’t find any roaches. There was mold on the curtains and in the shower and the overall cleanliness of the room was very poor.

We stay at this location quite a bit. This was the worst stay. Air conditioner did not work made loud noises like compressor was going out. Room stayed damp the entire time. The floors, walls, and bedding stayed damp.

Days Inn looks good from the outside, but.... Our room was musty. It was clean however the stains and dilapidated interior couldn't be covered up. Bed was awful and shower curtain disgusting. Bathroom light took a minute to come on and no fan.

The room had a odor. I am sure that it was due to the humidity which I don't have in Montana. The bed creaked every time I sat on it. The outside door, on the inside had black on it. It didn't smell like mold, but not sure if it was dirt. There was an outlet without a cover on it.

The front desk clerk was very cheerful and even offered point of interest for photography in the area.The room was clean and the property was well kept. The hotel itself is fairly old and showing a lot of wear and tear. The beds were noisy and you could hear noises from adjacent rooms. The bathtub ledge had several burns where past renters had laid their cigarettes.

Checking clerk was cold and short . The staircase to the second floor was very dirty. Our room did not had a smoke detector. It was removed just the base was still attached on the wall . The room was ok but out dated.

Check in was great and the lady that helped me was amazing even though she was having a rough day. I saw some bugs in the room and had to spray the room and go through all my things before I left. I was told I could move to a room on the bottom as soon as one opened up. Although there were days when the hotel was obviously nearly empty, the other lady who worked at the front desk was not helpful and insisted there was nothing available.

There were people in the pool that were not part of the hotel stay. A lot of people! Two people were also sitting in chairs on the second-floor balcony very strange looking. Sitting right by our door, staring at my granddaughter and me. People in the pool "barking" at my granddaughter and me as we climbed the outside stairs to check out our room. I have traveled and stayed at many places but never have I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable. The room smelled funny, and the bedspread had some sort of stains on it. The person at the desk, Beverly, was very nice. I have nothing bad to say about her. We immediately went back to her to complain. She immediately agreed to "kick out" the persons who did not belong here, but I did not feel safe and wanted to leave. She had already charged my credit card but agreed to refund my charge. I was just a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Sorry...

Outside of property was in bad shape, but there was VERY limited places to stay in Chiefland, Fl. Bedding was okay. The linens appeared to be clean. Toilet had a long-term leak on the tank that had never been fixed and this had stained the constantly wet floor behind it. Both tub and sink has stoppers that were not attached, exposing the corroded and dirty pipes below. Sink had hair wrapped around the stopper--yuck. You could see daylight around the door where the seal was worn away. Checkout staff member was not professional at all--not offering print out of bill, "thank you for staying with us," or any other kind, professional words. Check in staff member at least was nice, even though not getting out of the chair the whole time. I know it wasn't the Taj Mahal, but I expected at least a little professionalism for the high price I was paying. I will explore other places if there is a next time.

We were there for one night after Hurricane Helene devastated that entire area of Florida. The hotel was not damaged that we could see and our night gave us much-needed rest. The staff was courteous and helpful, both on the phone before arrival and on arrival.

we like to visit small towns with nature trails Chiefland has quite a few. Fanning, and Manatee springs and Swannee state parks Excellent trails for everyone. We also ate in Fowler's Bluff treasure camp restaurant right on the Swannee River. Great food and wonderful service

It served its purpose to stay one night while visiting Cedar Key on a last minute trip. It’s a little outdated, the room, but it was clean. Bed and pillows we’re comfortable. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Convenient to stores also.

For what was available in the area I would say this was the better choice. The property is definitely old and smells older. I usually have really good experiences with properties in the Days Inn. Breakfast is definitely continental as I only saw coffee no juice, bread for toast, cereal, no rolls of any type. As my husband does not do coffee and we like any type of breakfast rolls this was disappointing. As expected we opted to visit a donut place just down the road.

The breakfast was a total joke. There was a waffle maker and off brand pop tarts. The machine for orange juice and apple juice was completely empty. The lady at the front desk was more concerned with talking to some motorcycle guest about motorcycles than she was about doing her job.

“Hot” breakfast consisted of make-your-own waffles and pop-tarts. That was it! No bread, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, eggs, yogurt, etc.
