Property was well maintained and had good water pressure. Appeared fairly quiet and safe for the most part. We felt that the location was convenient. Staff however kept doors locked to lobby in the evening so we had to do business through a small window and employees English knowledge varied widely which was a bit awkward. We would probably stay again if in the area.

Parking can be a little tight with truck with full lot but no complaints all good

Room was clean. Lobby was shut down, so no breakfast. Ice machine was broken and no other ice available. Signage was laying on the ground so without my GPS it would be hard to find.

Everthing,ice maker not working,coffee maker broken,lobby locked,did not have any thing to offer in the am.

They were pressure washing ourside our window. They tried to avoid our area but it was quite loud. Check in was still observing covid protocol. No libby. Check in through a window.

The area has food and shopping but the motel has no amenities. No breakfast as advertised. Our room had no heat.

It’s a pretty much plain Jane motel/hotel. Rooms were clean, and bathtub actually drains. Check in took longer than I liked, but it is what it is. Ice machines were broken and no breakfast

I arrived late and front desk agent got me checked in quickly. Room has a microwave and mini-fridge. Ice machine was not working and soda purchased from vending machine was warm.

Location good. Housekeeper was very nice. Check in unfriendly no interaction at all. Took my license through window came back several minutes with a key and turned away visible window. Can see they are trying to improve property. Wish them luck with it. No amenities at all.

Wow - where to start?!!! We arrived at 9:00p.m. The motel lobby was locked. They checked us in through a hole in one of the lobby door!! The chain lock on our room door was busted off (as well as half of the door trim) We found hairs on the pillows and bed sheets! Wet liquid on the nightstand and lots of food crumbs on the floor. Not even a bar of hand soap in the bathroom. When we checked out, in the morning we were not allowed into the building. No one told us how to check out so we deposited our room key, through the hole in the door. There was not even a cup of coffee available - not even in our room and no breakfast!!!!! We just needed a bed for a few hours of sleep as we traveled and we are pretty easy going, but this place was a shock!! Their write up on their website is mostly NOT TRUE.

This place was nothing like pictured! Was never able to enter lobby so service was at a window. Checked in that Sunday 17th room 141 was absolutely terrible!! Smelled horrible! I did a little cleaning to let it air out. I left and came back that night around 9 smell wasn’t so strong, open refrigerator dead roach, open microwave rusted with dead roach, roach on the wall. Monday 18th woke up with headache and coughing went to shower and I noticed the bathroom ceiling had mold! I request a different room that even after work and was asked to come back that night at 11. I wasn’t hanging out too that time which left me paying for another room!! Tuesday evening 8/19 they gave me another room so I went to get my things from 141 and roaches were in the sink. The other room 104 smelled alil better but I still had a dry cough from the first room and was hesitant about staying and it getting worse. I paid for Sunday through Saturday checkout and only stayed Sunday night! It wasn’t worth my life! I chose the place for sentimental reasons of 2021, but never again! The hotel has some major health violations among others! I won’t recommend to anyone even if you don’t care about the condition at this hotel.

There were roaches in the room. The bathroom door had a big hole in it.The shower had a hole in the tub, patched up by a Band-Aid, and the handle in the shower came out.The wall

Checkout after 2nd nigh due to my grandchild was bitten by bedbugs. No phone in the room, no coffe pot and only one set of towels.

Well there were a lot of issues with this place. First of all, we got a dirty room...literally fake eyelashes on the dirty sink that wouldn't drain. We stayed here over a year ago and it was not like this. The tub is cracked and leaking, both doors (front and bathroom) need to be replaced, and there were roaches. I could literally see sunlight through the bottom of the front door. The back of the bathroom door had been chewed up, literally. Room 136 was just bad...and to make it worse the guy supposedly checked it to make sure it was ready before he assigned me the room. Oh and for fun, no TP and what seemed to be dirty towels. Thank God I brought a roll from home.

The first room they gave us had a horrendous smell. Stains on sheets. Second room had roaches and all the towels had stains like dark dirty stains. Left did not like it at all.

Roaches in my room which smelled of weed so strongly that I had to leave the door open, the AC unit on high and the bathroom ventilation on for hours. Melinda was excellent as she provided a cleaning product that cleared the weed smell after being applied. A can of disinfectant helped as well. Melinda was always making sure to check if anything was needed during my stay. She also helped with getting my brother's room ready as it hadn't been completed when expected at 2:30.

Accommodations were typical of a roadside motel. Bedding was not clean, and the hot water in the shower was dangerously hot.

This place was awful! Do not stay here! Old and outdated, dirty, and a very uncomfortable bed with crappy pillows. We striped the bed, used our travel sheets, blankets, and pillows since we knew ours was clean! Thank goodness we always bring our own, we just didnt trust this place! We definitely would have left but had an extremely long drive prior to arrival so we needed to somewhat rest. We should have slept in our vehicle, which we would have probably been more comfortable in! When morning came, I used the toilet which ended up backing up just by flushing, #1 not #2! Not maintaining issues cause backups! We started getting ready for our day, showered which tub doesnt drain (yuck) and then we hear knocking at the door shortly after 7am from the housekeeping! Check out is not until 11am so no need to bother guests until you know they are gone or after the allotted check out time! So very rude of them! Dont stay here period! This place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt or completely gutted and start fresh. Just horrible! And don't bring kids here! Dirty needles in the parking lot and nasty condom was near the grass that was separating the street to room. I would never again stay here for any reason!

It left a lot to be desired. We arrived. There was no one at the desk we had to wait for someone to come. Our room was smell like cigarettes, smoking steel cigarettes, smoking all night we smell cigarettes smoke we complained the next day only to be told. Well that’s non-smoking, which we said we know because we asked for non-smoking. We had two bath towels that were old and ragged. The floor was not clean. The remote for the TV did not work. We could only get one channel. There’s no phone in the room to call the front desk. I’m not sure what kind of places is supposed to be, but it was not even close to our standards, we will not stay there again.

Tv had no remote and didn’t work. No phones in the room. Most lights and tv were unplugged. Would not stay there again.

Other than no fridge in the room. Was a decent stay

No working tv. No cable box,no remote nothing. Only had 1 towel. Had to go to office to to get towels and washcloths. Bed was horrible. Mattress was so bad its been 3 days and my back is still hurting. No breakfast in morning. Not even coffee available.

I have stayed here 3 different times since Oct. The tv reception has been completed lost each stay. Even as I write this. Last stay during mid Oct. called desk. Was told out of their control.

For the price and convenience, it was good. My only complaint would be the mattress was not the best, and the chair (not computer chair) was not as comfortable as it could have been. I would suggest a recliner, as there was plenty of room for one. Our maid was awesome and took care of our needs, she was easy to work with and did a great job!

The location was good, close to food, gas , Walmart…it’s approx 30 min drive to the beach….The room was advertised to come with breakfast, I was disappointed that there was no breakfast at the hotel! I saw and killed 2 roaches in my room and not many stations on tv (I think 4) The bed was comfortable….I booked through hotels.com and paid $90/night ( way to much) it later showed at a lesser price! I don’t recommend the econlodge or Hotels.com

Room not as pictured, unable to gain entry. Front desk clerk came with the key & wasn’t able to open the door, he then proceeded to open the door with a screwdriver. There were other guest outside watching as he opened the door. Definitely did not feel safe at this point. Requested a refund he said he couldn’t because it was paid in advance. I refused to stay there regardless due to safety reasons. The room number was 136 (you can open the door with a screwdriver)!

I was disappointed from the begging. The host told me to stand at the window instead of inviting me into the lobby. Next, the door handle was broken and that was a delay to get someone to teach me to open the broken door. Btw, if the handle broken then who would feel safe. Inside the room is in need of several repairs. The ceiling is peeling and falling, the tile is broken and missing pieces. The switch to the bathroom light and fan is broken and won't turn off so it ran constantly. Very noisy even with the door closed. I rarely leave poor reviews but the broken door handle and broken light switch are both safety issues. Watch YouTube videos to learn how to make these simple repairs. Better luck in the future...!!

Every room they gave me had problems won the TV didn't work the cabinet broke the other room a room the air conditioner was so noisy you couldn't sleep definitely will not recommend staying there

Horrible service. Shady hotel. Overcharged room. Hotel room was left open. Staff person using the room? Dirty room. No hot water for shower. Security latch missing from door. Did not feel safe.

No room services. Room wasn’t cleaned and bed wasn’t made. No clean towels in bathroom. Had to go ask manager for clean towels. Difficult to understand night clerk on duty when I checked in.

I made a reservation with the wrong check in and check out dates. The person at the front desk was quick in adjusting those dates on my reservation.

The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning was great. But what was important to was the motel staff offered a refund without having to ask when I had to shorten my stay.

The property owner was exceptionally helpful. I'm handicapped and need additional assistance and he was very kind and considerate.

I don’t usually leave reviews as I’m pretty tolerant with anything so long as the place is clean and safe. But I felt compelled to leave this review. We were due to check in at 2:00, and we got to the property around 12 so we went to the front to see if we could check in early, and if not, to use the bathroom in the lobby after travelling. The lobby was locked, and the male attendant motioned us to this tiny little window where we explained what we were after. He said we couldn’t check in early, we couldn’t come into the lobby, and we couldn’t use the bathroom because it was out of service. We thought that was totally weird. We came back at 2:00 to check in and again tried to enter the lobby - it was locked. The woman attendant motioned us to the tiny window. We asked if we could come into the lobby to check in. She said that normally they don’t let people into the lobby but because it was cold she would let us in. We go into the lobby, and there’s a perfectly functioning bathroom right there (counter to what we were told two hours prior). The female attendant said that they had kept the lobby closed ever since Covid. What? It’s 2024. It’s absolutely ridiculous to make us stand in the parking lot and conduct check in through a tiny opening in a window like you would see in a convenience store in a “bad” part of town. The fact that they aren’t allowing patrons into the lobby to have a civilized check in or to use the bathroom is ridiculous, using Covid as an excuse

Rooms were clean staff was helpful and location was safe

The location was great for our needs. The room itself was spare but very clean. Internet access was non-existent and no front desk help to correct it. There was absolutely no information regarding the area, where to eat or even how to use the TV, not even a phone book. Being from out of town that kind of information would have been very helpful

This lodge was advertised as having a breakfast and even posted a picture of the breakfast bar in the hotel on the website. But there is none. Many of us travelers select a place to stay on whether or not a breakfast is available. The owners say they told Expedia that they no longer serve breakfast.Who is telling the truth??? This is false advertising on part of Expedia.com. Shame on you!

No continental breakfast !!!!!!!!

Ice machine was broken. No continental breakfast which was advertised as included on the Hotels website. Clerk told me "they" were supposed to take that down. Room was clean but bathroom was in poor condition. Ceiling texture was falling off over the shower.

Kept awake all night by the couple screaming and throwing things, slamming the walls and the doors, right next to us. Also, there was no breakfast as advertised... couldn't even get into the lobby as it was all locked.

The website said a breakfast was offered and showed many nice pictures of the breakfast area. After I checked in, I asked about the times for breakfast and was told that there is no breakfast and that the website is incorrect. This is unacceptable!

They advertised breakfast and said we don’t do anymore when we got there. Bare floors were not swept well, kept stepping on grit. Check in Manager not available at check out. Room smelled like smoke. Did not replace towels etc after first night. Couldn’t connect to internet.
