Stayed 2 nights

I will say I did not expect the a/c to be out but the staff was very accommodating in making us comfortable. My kids loved the bunk beds and enjoyed their stay, the only thing the page said they offered free breakfast but they don’t. Other than that we enjoyed our time. I loved the feel of the hotel.

We stayed here recently for a family wedding, and we were very pleased with our stay. The beds were super comfortable, the rooms were nice and cool and Chef Arnie was very inviting. It isn’t like a traditional hotel where there is someone at the desk 24/7, so if you’re a person who requires that kind of attentiveness, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There is a number provided for any issues that you can call, but they split their time between the hotel and the adjoining restaurant. If we were to come back to Defuniak Springs, we would stay here again!

Stephanie was so helpful with our luggage. I had a plant I purchased prior to our visit and was concerned it wouldn't survive staying in the car. We put it on the sidewalk, and no one bothered it and Stephanie put a note on our car with a cute little drawing of the plant so we wouldn't forget to take it with us.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. There are no frills in the rooms but the bed is comfortable and the area is quiet. The restaurant is right next door. And they have an ice machine behind the lobby. It's a very nice small town to visit. There are several shops and other places to eat within walking distance. The walking paths are clean and the people are friendly.
