Very helpful staff. Great location. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of options. Rooms and bathrooms clean. Only downside - the beds were too soft for me. Also, the laundromat on both floors was out of order. The hotel staff didn’t know when the laundry facilities would be functional.

We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel and were very satisfied with the outcome! The room was very clean, and fully equipped with little kitchen that had fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher in it also ironing table, hair blower, service laundry, gym and sauna. The cleaning staff did an awesome job as far as changing bed sheets, towels and cleaning around the room in a Daly basis. What were amazed by quality of the breakfast served Daly that had a variety of food to chose from ( coffee, orange juice, apple juice, bagels, waffles, egg, bacon, cereal, fruit and much more) I highly recommend this place!

The parking garage was excellent! Beautiful area with restaurants and shopping very close by. Nice views of the river and NYC. The bathroom in our suite had some moly and mildew that had been covered poorly instead of fixed.

The staff were mostly helpful, there were half empty whiskey bottles left in our room which have the impression it hasn't been cleaned properly. A fire alarm went off at 11pm whereby we had to evacuate. This really freaked our youngest out ( loud intercom messages in our room to evacuate)and he found it hard to sleep once we could go back in. Apart from this the food was good and facilities fine, bus outside hotel really convenient for getting into New York.

We really liked this hotel. Location was great, place was clean, staff were nice, etc. The only downside is that we were there for three nights and when taking a shower each morning there was only hot water for one day and the others were lukewarm to cold. We took showers early in the morning too before others would have been awake.

This was a nice hotel but I had no hot water in the shower. I talked to the front desk and they just said to let it run and I did but it never came on. I told them and they did not help. A maintenance person came right before I checked out and was unable to help. It was too much money to stay at a place where I couldn’t take a hot shower.

Great location with retail and food nearby. Literally 5 miles and 20 minutes into NYC at rush hr. The hotel looked to have had some updating but the furniture and appliances was dated. The check in was flawless and the staff was great. I would definitely stay again

This hotel is clean, conveniently located, staff is nice and professional, breakfast buffet is pretty good. The only thing I dislike about this property is that I often struggle having a hot shower. It did not matter what time of day I showered; 2/3 of the times I showered the water was cold to not quite warm.

Tragedy struck when I got home from our trip and realized I forgot my wedding ring and band at the hotel. They checked the room and couldn’t find it. I was heart broken. HOWEVER, they kept looking and stayed in touch and they found both of my rings and Fedexed them to me!!!! I truly thought I would never see my rings again and cried for days…. I am beyond grateful for the staff at Homewood and we will 100% stay there again!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! It made my entire Christmas to get my rings back! They are irreplaceable.

My two friends and I stayed at this hotel from Nov 30-Dec 4th. The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly, and it is located in a great location, given that there is a bus that takes you directly to Central NYC. However, after such a great stay, we were put in the WORST situation. We thought we can trust the front desk receptionist with the booking of a regular taxi to the airport, but to our surprise we were given a luxury taxi(which was exponentially more expensive!!). We, then had no choice but to go with the luxury taxi as we needed to get to the airport on time. We were told that the manager would get back to us on how we can get compensated, but we never received that call or any sort of apology to this day. So for anyone else who stays here, please book your own taxi ( the front desk can provide you that number ) because it is not worth the extra $$ and was not the way we wanted to end what was a such a great trip.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds for 2 adults and 2 children from 7/15/24 to 7/17/24. In the evening of 7/16/24, the toilet was stuck. The gentleman at front desk tried to unblocked the toilet but the toilet was overfilled and wet the entire bathroom's floor and even part of the bedroom's carpet. He arranged us to a different room of 1 king bed with the portable AC and told me that I would get a refund for that day. Up to now, I have not received any refund. I sent the email to the manager but there is no reply.

Quite far from NYC for Uber but beautiful views! Also be aware the Uber drivers cancel frequently from here, they don’t want to go to NY! But just allow extra time and you’ll get one :) Hotel staff was awesome, premise was great. Room was FANTASTIC! We had plenty of space!

The Homewood Suites Edgewater is in a great location near a ferry to NY city and buses that connect to NYC subways/buses. From the hotel entrance, you can see NYC across the Hudson River. The hotel is next to the City Place Promenade, a very nice small outdoor mall with shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and include a kitchen and large refrigerator. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very easy entry and exit using Hilton Honors App. An easy walk from good shops and a fab spa. Bus stop into Port Authority Bus Terminal (Manhattan) is a few mins away. Our room was great. Very comfy bed! Would definitely stay here again. Would have liked some vegan options for breakfast but otherwise really great stay.

★☆☆☆☆ This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. After eating breakfast, I had some yogurt and grape jam. The yogurt tasted off, so I stopped eating it, and the grape jam was unusually watery, so I threw it away. Shortly after leaving the hotel for New York, I started vomiting in the car. I continued vomiting for about three hours in the restroom at Rockefeller Center. Security was so concerned that they wanted to call an ambulance, but I declined because I hoped the vomiting would stop. After about three hours, I finally started to feel better. My day was completely ruined. Instead of sightseeing in New York as planned, I had to return to the hotel around 1:30–2:00 PM because I was too sick to continue. When I reported what had happened to the front desk, I expected at least some concern or sympathy. Instead, they immediately insisted there was nothing wrong with their food and repeatedly implied that the problem was my fault. Their attitude was defensive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Whether or not the hotel believes the breakfast caused my illness, the way they handled the situation was unacceptable. I will never stay at this hotel again.
