Due to construction water was shut off between 1-4 and constructing went on from 8am- 7pm. I get you have to get things done but sooooo inconvenient and annoying

We were making an international flight which took a total of 48 hours and we booked this hotel because we were carrying big bags and needed an airport shuttle pick up. The day before we arrived we called the hotel and asked to schedule a pick up. They said we don't need to schedule and should just call for pick up when we landed. When we arrived at the airport, we called and then and only then they told us that they did not have a shuttle after midnight-430am. Now it was almost 330am and we had a meeting at 8a and no way to move to the hotel without the shuttle so we slept on the airport floor until we had our meeting at 8am. They refused to refund us.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. The staff was friendly & accommodating. The room was very spacious and clean, it was recently remodeled. My family LOVED the pool which was also very clean! Parking was easy. The complimentary breakfast was nice though very limited options. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that online it states they have laundry facilities, but they do not. We were staying for a week for a baseball tournament & it was a huge inconvenience having to go to a laundromat for his uniforms when we planned to be able to wash them on-site.

Near the airport (about a 12 minute drive), the hotel did offer an airport shuttle. Nice pool and hot tub. Room had a mini fridge, sofa, comfortable beds and bedding. Breakfast included hot items (eggs, sausage, oatmeal) as well as muffins, fruit, yogurt, breads. Restaurants were nearby.

Under renovation-no pool, no breakfast area; service was in small conference room and food was stone cold: dust everywhere and I am severely allergic to dust; fire alarm went off twice at 5:00 am! We should have been notified before our vacation at the very least!!!

The property itself was nice. We arrived into Ft. Myers late in the evening and checked in around 9:00 p.m.. After showering we pulled back the sheets to find what looked like makeup (red lipstick type) in several places on the top and bottom sheet. We called and received new bedding but the issue was a bit overwhelming after traveling all day and wanted to rely on a clean room to rest and couldn't do that.

When we checked in, the lady didn’t inform me of the additional fee that would show on the pending charge. She actually didn’t say very much at all. We went to our room. Rooms are set up a bit ackward. You can’t really view the tv from the bedroom area. You have a slanted side view. Our Kitchenette sink leaked. I tried to call down but no one came so just had one of the other dads in our group help us out. Found someones dirty sock in the closet. We had small kids on our floor that were running up and down the hallway really late. We didn’t spend a lot of time in our room but on the last day… found multiple roaches. Lucky for us we were leaving anyways but they were big.

Easy to book, helpful staff. Breakfast exceeded expectation in quality and variety of offerings. Only minor issues, shower faucet handle falls off when used, room 310. And A/C difficult to control and get to comfortable temp. Either super cold or too warm.

The service was ok and the facilities were fine. However , the cost per night is high compared with other places that gives you the same service. And the worst part was the air conditioning, it does not work properly, does not get cold enough for the room size. My brother was in another room on a different level and had the same problem with the A/C. When we give the complaint the employees, they told us that the temperature does not go lower 😠. So, for that I would not recommend the place as we used the room only for sleep, not to be there all day.

When In he led in I asked the employee behind the counter to make sure my room was not near a stairwell. I always make this request because I travel enough to know those doors can be very loud. The other employee behind the counter said there were plenty of rooms available but the one helping me said it wasn’t a problem because everyone used the elevator anyway and my room was far enough away that it wouldn’t be an issue. She was wrong and I was wrong not to insist. She put me in the room right next to the stairwell on the first floor (room 102). Needless to say, I heard that door open and close all night. I could not have been more disappointed. For me one bad apple spoiled the whole stay (everyone else and everything else about the property was delightful).

I had the the pleasure to work with Tayler at the front desk and I could say she was an absolute professional, warming, and kind representative to work with. Lots of time you get a beautiful place, but workers are unhappy, not welcoming but here we got the best of both worlds. Thank you, Tayler.

I not only would never stay at this property, I would never stay at another SPRINGHILL property. Arrived at the property after a long day of travel to find the front door, locked with no note or way to enter. Had to wait for the front desk attendant to eventually arrive and open the door. Front desk attendant gentleman was not friendly and did not apologize for the delay. I tried to check in online, but never got a notification that my room is ready until I was actually sitting in my room. The room smelled bad and there was a long black hair in the bed. Fortunately, I had a room with two beds so use the other one. However, those sheets were wrinkled, and I’m not sure they were ever washed. Walls were paper, thin to the point that I could hear, detailed conversations happening in the room next-door. The room air conditioner with cycle from completely quiet to loud throughout the night. There was no way to have the fan running continuously so there wasn’t such an abrupt change in volume. I planned to use the hot tub and pool however, the water did not look clean. Overall, this place was a dump and I couldn’t recommend highly enough to find any other place to stay.

we were late checking in due to flight changes and delays beyond our control and even though the hotel (Springhill Suites by Marriot) had received the fees from Expedia our booking was cancelled and the only way to enable us to stay there was to rebook and repay locally at the hotel The next day the hotel agreed they had recieved the booking fees from Expedia and that they could issue any refund and that the onus was on us to contact Expedia to get them to reclaim the money from Springhill Suites so that it could then be refunded to us As it stands we have been charged twice for our stay at Springhill Suutes

The hotel & staff were the absolute best that I have ever encountered! My son had an 8am game, the hotel had breakfast out before 7am for all the baseball players. I will definitely be back to this hotel!! The hotel was clean even though they were in the middle of renovation.

Disappointing check-in. Chose facility for airport shuttle service and then was told they wouldn’t help me get to the airport when I needed to. May have 24/7 front desk but not 24/7 shuttle service! Unfriendly check-in. Matter of fact, live with it, attitude. Not what I would expect from Marriott. I would have gone elsewhere had I known the unknown fine print.

On the whole, and compared to competitors in the vicinity, Spring Hills is the best local option. The unfortunate thing is that it is situated close to 75, so road noise is heard at night. The air conditioning is very loud. On the positive side, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the facility is well-kept, and clean.

Hotel was good for the price clean breakfast was better than I thought on Saturday but Sunday there wasn’t much. It was in a convenient place. Restaurant close by. Area looks safe. Quiet. Overall it was good. Staff was pleasant. They had a shuttle service. The only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t come up to clean the room and give us new towels. When I asked, they said they didn’t do that so I had to go down and get my own towels. Wasn’t a big deal, but all hotels I’ve been to at least bring you new towels daily. Just found that a bit weird Everything else was great.

What an incredible hotel and stay. The new product and the staff were fantastic. I stayed here before and the new guest room is just perfect. The breakfast had so much variety and service was excellent. This is my new home in Ft Myers. Congratulations to the team on making me feel so welcome. . I look forward to coming back in two weeks.
