We've visited this property several times and always enjoyed ourselves. It is an older property but it has always been clean and had a very nice pool area. This time was different. The pool was closed the entire time. Now it was 99 degrees out, and the only reason to go to FL in the summer is to float in the pool, so having the pool out of service the entire time was a major issue to the extent that it ruined our week-long stay. Further, it appeared that it was simply not being tended, perhaps due to low occupancy. We were also supposed to have had our rooms serviced every 3rd day, and on day 5 we had to ask for it, as no one had brought us fresh linens or taken out the trash. The room itself had issues: a rusty fridge. Seriously, throw a coat of paint on it. Though the staff were and have always been very nice, we don't plan to return due to the issue with the pool and general maintenance. Unfortunate, as we were previously fans and often recommended it to others.

Booked this place for the hot tub. They close spa at sundown. Never ever seen this anywhere. The they wanted ids for both me n hubby, again never have i ever had this requested anywhere else. Annoying. Carpets stained and place needs some work.

The pool was green, the rooms were so tired, old and worn. It was hideous inside. In need of major updating. This made everything look dirty. Old carpets, kitchen cupboards falling off, fridge doors covered in rust spots. Filthy moldy windows on the outside. Everything was tires. Leaking all over the floor water from who knows where. Greasy dishes put away. The room wasn’t even cleaned properly. The front desk was amazing though. You can’t polish a terd with this hotel. But they hired some great friendly front door staff. Pool was green. Wanted to stay there to cool for my kids and to swim. Drawer handles hanging off of dressers, embedded dirt on the floors. 70’s decor.

The only good thing I’d have to say about this hotel is the location for the price. You are close to Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island so if you have a car, it’s a pretty ideal location however I would not recommend this place. If you wanna feel like you’re staying in a place that feels clean the first day we get there it looks like the walls are crumbling around the hotel, the hotel room itself is a nice size. However, it has a very strange stale smell to it that will not get rid of. We swim in the pool for three days which happened to be nice and I go out to go to the pool the fourth day and there is a warning that the health department of Florida had closed it. It was only a small little sign by the pool. The hotel had not said anything. There was no signs making it more notice that it was closed. When I asked the front desk what it had happened she was like it’s just closed. However, it said it was for safety reasons meaning I don’t think it was cleaned at all because it did not have a smell of Clorine. We only got room service once., She took all of our towels because they only give you two and gave us a bathmat size towels, and I didn’t even feel like saying anything because it’s so hard to find a cleaner. The tiles were crumbling in the kitchen.

Great pool area which has preserve/ trees behind it. Very serene. Employees are the very best for all concerns. 2 bedrooms at reasonable rate. We are still waiti g on the updates to come as the furniture, carpet and kitchen area are very dated.

BEDBUGS. Warning we had bedbugs.This is the single worst hotel that I have ever stayed at and I have stayed in hotels all over the world. A client and I stayed here. There were bed bugs on her box spring and crawling on her bed. There was no bed bug cover on her box spring. The staff was unbelievably unhelpful when we showed them what was in the room. They made us pay for washing her clothes and gave us nothing to clean out her luggage. To make matters worse the place is a dump. The rooms are horribly dated. The refrigerators are rusted, the kick plates gone, the cabinets look like they are 40 years old. The place looks nothing like the online photos. I am honestly blown away by how unhelpful and apologetic they are. DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP!!!

Overall, had a good experience here. It was definitely worth the price and the staff were very friendly. The only downside is that the furniture has stains along with some of the towels and the property is pretty old. If the rooms get remodeled it would be a great hotel.

Staff were nice and facility was clean albeit slightly run down in the halls but rooms were very nice and comfortable to stay in. Area around is a bit busy with a main road running through but not terrible to navigate. All around a good place to spend a few nights in and see what the fort Myers area has to offer.

Got to the room opened the door turned on the lights and the first thing we see was a cockroach running. The small kitchen was rusty knobs missing from the oven. We went into the bedroom and lifted the mattress only to find a few mor bugs. We packed up went right back down and canceled the room and found another hotel. So far I still haven’t received a refund

Very clean and comfortable suite. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I actually extended my stay bc I felt so at home. It may be a little worn in some ways but I didn’t mind bc everything was spotless and whatever they spray on their linens smells fantastic!

Hotel attendant was very nice and helpful. The room was on the dingy, gross side. The fridge was rusty, the bed had who knows what kind of stain on the side and the couch was covered in stains.

Although a bit tired the property was really clean and well cared for. The guy on reception was really helpful / he seemed to be there all the time! Really good value for money if you want a short stay that’s easy in your pocket. Also all rooms are large with comfy beds and full suites.

I really enjoyed my stays here. The kitchen is great to have and the staff were very helpful. The rooms could be better as they are dated and during my first stay the only TV’s in the room were CRT’s. The only downside is that their Wifi signal is not consistent in the hotel, and during my first stay I was far from the router so the internet did not work in my room. If you’re staying ask for a room close to the router on that floor. Regardless of that the price and amenities make it worth it.

I stayed in a suite that felt a bit like a 1990's time capsule. The unit was clean and the furniture/kitchen appliances were all functional and in good condition but the style reminded me of the 90's, which was a fun decade. I'm not writing this to complain. I actually enjoyed the nuance of having not one but two tube television sets that both worked as if they were new. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and the hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment and a movie theater. I enjoyed a relaxing weekend there and would gladly return. I don't think it can be beat for the price.

I was truly impressed with the quality of the deluxe suite. Perfect for an affordable option if traveling with kids or friends. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite also had a full living room and kitchen with dinner table. Book it! Totally worth it!

The staff was amazing, was informed that the GM had quit. No one was managing the hotel staff. 1st room ac units were torn apart laying in floor. Second room very dated, ac units loud, bathroom barely held together. Honestly only reason we didn’t leave was the beautiful, very helpful front desk lady was amazing!

I rented the 2 bedroom suite and it also had 2 bathrooms as well. Very helpful. Internet wifi was quite slow but when I reported this to the front desk, they helped me with a router to plug in at the room, and it went from 4 mb/s to about 50 mb/s. Basically if you need a temporary apartment half the cost of a residence inn (mine was about $100 per night), but don't mind so much if the hotel needed updating 15 years ago, this is a good bargain. I would return if need be.

We received no service for a whole week! Luckily I was able to plead a maid into giving us some towels and toilet paper. Never saw anyone again. Someone through out trash at the elevator and we told them 1st thing that morning that it smelled horrible. We came back 6 hours later and there it sat. It was disguting!
We received no service for a whole week! Luckily I was able to plead a maid into giving us some towels and toilet paper. Never saw anyone again. Someone through out trash at the elevator and we told them 1st thing that morning that it smelled horrible. We came back 6 hours later and there it sat. It was disguting!

Staff at the front desk is very rude, from Molly the manager, Susan, and Christine. Very loud dehumidifier in the rooms and loud and moldy AC window units. No AC in the hallways. Had no water one evening and no hot water one morning without advanced notice nor apology nor courtesy credit. Towels were small and threadbare. No housekeeping services. Had a kitchenette, but dishwasher was broken in 1st room they gave us, so we switched rooms. No dishwasher soap unless you knew to ask the front desk. Also had to ask front desk for ice to be put in your freezer's ice tray, no ice bucket. Complaining at the front desk gets you a threat to call the Sherriff. Poor attitude from staff is intolerable. Physical conditions are in disrepair in this old place and amenities are zero. Avoid this place unless you want to suffer purgatory prior to going to hell. There is nothing alluring about nor sweet about Allure Suites.

I did not even check in or use the room because of the ridiculous policy they have. After paying for the room through expedia the hotel wanted $150 cash deposit or fill out credit card paperwork and give them my card. Also, they want ID from me and my guest that they hold onto ! And, you cant have anyone in your room after 11:00pm...That place is ridiculous and I just lost $115

The staff are wonderful 👍. It is just an older hotel. Has a nice pool and hot tub. Staff always had fresh coffee all day out. House keeping Ladies were very nice and accommodating. I will stay there again for sure.

The staff was extremely unwelcoming. I rented a room with three beds two rooms. Had my sister and her friend come in the night before I was checking out. At 10:30 at night the staff began calling my room saying that my guests had to leave. I explained they’ve already given their IDs at the desk. The staff told me they had to leave or we all had to leave. Makes absolutely no sense. Why rent a room with bathrooms and three beds if guests are not allowed. I ended up having to pay for another room at a different hotel. Absolutely the most absurd thing I’ve ever went through traveling.

Hotel was in a super convenient part of town. Everything around - easy to maneuver and get to places. Not far from anything really. Our room was gigantic. It was a suite with 3 beds. Each room had it's own bathroom - It wasn't fancy by any stretch and it is a bit dated- but it was clean and a great value for what we were there for. I would totally stay there again

This is just over the bridge from South Cape and very affordable. These hotel rooms are like apartments and work well for expended stays. There is a Publix, gas station, and restaurants within walking distance. Management is easy going and well spoken. Ask for an updated room. Easy access to Cape, FMB, Sanibel.

Our room (suite) was in excellent condition. It was huge and had a kitchenette!! The hallways could use some updating and an ice machine would be a nice addition. But the front desk people were very helpful and accommodating…and gave us ice! Great locations!!

Great location. Publix is like 2 blocks away. Easy access to get to beaches and ball parks. I would definitely there again. The 1 bedroom suite was pretty nice. Kind of beat up and dated and the tvs need replacing but the hot tub was perfect. The staff was top notch. I would consider it a great value price-wise

The property is centrally located, minutes from Cape Coral, perhaps 35 min from both Ft Myers and Ft Myers beach. The room's are suites with a sitting area and kitchenette. I was told the room was cleaned every three days, although new towels, etc were brought in I do not believe bed linens were changed. The hotel is by a parkway but there was no problem with noise. I recommended the property to an associate who is heading to Ft Myers beach as ideal to stay. There are no ice machines, ice in a bag, no cost, is available from the front desk.

Ok so this is a basic budget motel and the price reflected it but it still was not inexpensive. I was very surprised there as no coffee in the room or lobby. There is a coffee pot but they give you nothing. The tile in bathroom is cracked in several places and toilet only loosely attached to the floor which was worrisome. There is a portable dehumidifier in room which I had to unplug at night because it was so loud. There was no dish soap in kitchenette, fine I used shampoo to clean a dish. Hotel is just very dated but the location is good. For $150 a night I did expect it to be better.

I would want same room or like room..It was newly renovated but the rest of the place needs someattention still. Smelled clean all the time. Stains on carpet off elevators gave off a bad impression. Great pool area which has preserve/ trees behind it. Very serene. Employees are the very best for all concerns. 2 bedrooms at reasonable rate. We are still waiti g on the updates to come as the furniture, carpet and kitchen area are very dated.

I was there for 5 nights...received no housekeeping. Asked for clean towels day 4 and for trash to be emptied....didn't happen. Bathroom was clean and bed comfortable, I just needed a place to sleep so it worked. But don't go there to enjoy yourself.
