The only issue we have is while taking a shower the warm water alternated with cold water & the shower floor was slippery - had to really be aware. We were disappointed that the outdoor fireplace was ‘broken down’ but understood.

Where to start..I reserved a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. Got to the room and no sofa bed. They did not have another one on the property. Was told there was nothing they could do. Someone in our party had to sleep on the floor. The room was clean but everywhere else was being renovated. Reno started 2 days prior to our stay, so the lobby was closed, all the walls were missing baseboards, there were buckets everywhere, tools everywhere and dust as well. Everything about this stay was absolutely unacceptable.

This was my first time staying in Gainesville and I love this location! The staff was so friendly from the second I walked in to the second I walked out. The rooms were nice, typical. Everything was clean. I will definitely stay here again. There are so many places to eat and shop in that area, so it’s very convenient.

Great one night stay. Hotel was very nice and everything looked clean. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom when we arrived and the toilet paper dispenser was broken. Other than that everything was great. Will definitely stay there again. The representatives were very nice and professional.

There was a terrible smell in the room. Some kind of very strong air freshener or something sprayed to cover up some other smells. I told the front desk and he said all the rooms were like that. I kept the door open for hours hoping it would go away. But it didn’t. We could not get our money back because I did it online. It had a no cancellation. In the middle of the night, it got so bad I couldn’t breathe and I had to go outside and sleep in the truck for most of the night,

Asked for a king bed with sofa and crib but got a double bed instead. The tv was stuck on the Marriott channel. Restaurant area is nice, limited menu. Nice to have the choice to get food here which we did and a drink.

Our room the bathroom fan kept us up at night. It was so loud when we turned it on the shower. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for hot water. The shower floor is so slippery. I had to hang onto the walls and the shower also leaked. The bed was very uncomfortable. We will not be staying there again.

Walls and ceiling are paper thin, and can hear everything. It kept me up hearing all the noise of people talking late into the evening, and hearing the thumping from people walking normally across their room above us. Otherwise, it was a nice, clean, modern room and service was good.

This hotel had been recently remodeled and was so nice and beautiful. New little touches in the room were really awesome! Bed was super comfortable. The only negative at all was occasionally being able to hear loud cars and motorcycles outside. We always keep the fan running on high in a hotel to drown out any noise but I think the glass sliding doors to the balcony allowed a little more outside sound in than normal. But we still had a great stay. Didn’t eat at the breakfast but wanted some bananas and the staff went and found some for us. Was very appreciative! Definitely would come back to stay again!

Very close to shopping, plenty of restaurants in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful, would definitely return stay. Only draw back to the room is there was no microwave, other then that it was great.

So pleasantly surprised! Our room has been renovated and its wonderful! Comfy beds and the shower is fantastic! No shower curtain to deal with is a HUGE plus!

Staff was great. Our TV stopped working so the moved our room. We packed up and got to a different room and our toilet wouldn’t flush. It was late so we just lived with it. Staff was accommodating and apologetic. It wasn’t too bad for the money. Located next to a lot of stores and food. Right off of the highway. Large amount of homeless folks around the area.

Service experience was excellent. Hotel had recently been remodeled and some of the finishes were not excellent but it was clean and about what you would expect from a Courtyard Marriot. Did not like that the food and coffee options in the morning only consisted of a Starbucks. $10 for coffee and a bagel was not a good way to start the day. Personally would have preferred to pay more for the room and have some food options like most other hotels in this price range. The wait at the Starbucks was too long given the staff size.

I was upset to see my bill. I purchased a bottle of wine....small, two glasses and they added a " room fee" of 37.00. Tatal was almost 60.00 for 2 glasses of wine. Wont go back for this reason.
