Pool was dirty and needed water. The loby made it seem as hotel was not even open. You need to make lobby more welcoming and registration desk needs to be more visible. Also your refundable $100 for incidents was so much more than the last 3 hotels we stayed at diring the last 5 days of our Orlando trip. Overall it was ok

Our first room had a very large wet spot on the floor and other people's clothes in the closet. The staff were nice and switched out room. Unfortunately, the new room smelled of marijuana, but we didn't want to go through the trouble of switching again. The rooms were newly renovated which was nice.

Original desk person was great after that everything went downhill. Got into the room carpet was disgusting and sticky. The smoke detector needed a battery TV didn’t work. Second night the clerk was very rude. Kicked me out of the hot tub at 8:30 when it says on the wall that the hot tub area closes at 11 the next day tried to use the hot tub. It was full. Water was hot. The same clerk told us we could not use the hot tub at all. That was at 6 o’clock in the evening. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Also, the free breakfast during the week is absolutely horrible. Will never stay here again.

I chose this location in large part for the advertisement of a pool and hottub. The stairwell smelled of urine, the hottub was cold and the pool had a health advisory sign posted! Won’t return here!

This was just a roof over our head, tolerable considering the price. Not glamorous at all. Pool was nice. Breakfast limited to carbs but did include sausage. No fruit or yogurt. Someone was smoking weed right outside our door late at night which permeated our room.

Nice clean rooms. We had a double queen room one of the beds was broken so that sucked. And the pool was disgusting with algea and mold on the sides. Other than that though staff was nice and our room was clean, breakfast was good too

When I walked in I was disappointed. We couldn’t open the blinds because it was on the corridor with everyone walking and the bed was next to the window. The water smells. I guess I was used to booking with Hilton so I expected better. On the flip side the pool and hot tub was beautiful and clean

Room was filthy. Bugs were coming out of the walls near the bathroom floor. The walls in the bathroom were stains. Very dusty and dirty in the room. You could hear the neighbors screaming and partying in the next room all night. There was a white powder substance all over the tv stand area as well that was not cleaned.

The numbers on the doors are small so it is hard to know where your room is. Only one light in the room worked. Dresser drawer was stuck open. Musty smell in the room. TV had less than a dozen working channels and some of them had a loud clicking noise making it hard to hear the dialogue. No light in the sink area. Two dead bugs in the bathroom

I knew the hotel was simple, without any luxuries. The staff were helpful and friendly, but the room's carpet was filthy, with a strong smell of dampness and dirt. You could see in the corners of the room that the carpet was blue, but it looked black from all the grime.

Room was absolutely filthy. Carpets were black and sticky from gunk. You could tell it hadn’t been truly cleaned in a long time. Dirt and grime smudges all over the walls. Room smelled like pee. Chairs in the room were covered in dirt and mud. Breakfast area was just as gross.

The rooms in progress of upgrade I was told. When I checked in I asked for a room that did not have any pets, I was told due to so many homeless people staying there it can’t be guaranteed. Red flag , the microwave did not work , Maria who was awesome came and switched it out. We had bites and skin was itchy , I thought it was mosquitoes, come to find out the room had bed bugs . I actually caught one of them to show the front desk the room is not up to state standards. I am still waiting for the GM to return my email. Basically awefull stay I had to check out early. The sheets were stained, upon further review the mattress gross. The shower was clean and renovated. The front young lady could only do so much in her powerful and apologetic (Rochelle). She messaged the GM also and I am still waiting. You can skip the location until the health department deem it clean. Bed bugs 👎

The exterior needed some help, but the room was nice. The beds were also comfortable. The free breakfast was the best part! I got a big discount for this stay. You get what you pay for. & I would say that for an overnight stay: just to sleep & breakfast in the morning/ it's an alright hotel. The travelers staying there were also very decent--lots of nice families.

The breakfast was ok. I would of liked to see a water cooler or dispenser in the breakfast area. What I didn't like was there was no tissues provided in my room. The TV channels were static and it would turn off randomly to snow and then back to the channel I was on. I did address the issue and someone did come out and looked at the TV. They offered to replace the TV but it was my last night so I said not to bother. Other than that, the stay was good.

The people in the front office were very nice, but the room gave off some Jeffrey Dahmer vibes. My son said he saw two shadow figures in our bedroom in the middle of the night and my daughter kept pointing at the wall and yelling “no” so the place might be haunted. But overall, the beds were comfortable and the TV had to be over 30 years old, but the stay was good. No real issues to complain about.

Dirty hotel, rude staff can never get any help from them. The owner Sam Devnani accused me of fraud and defamation my name due to resort fees that were not disclosed to me during check-in by the employee and Sam is saying I knew I was supposed to pay it up. How would a customer know what he is supposed to pay if their employee does not disclose it? I have a case through the Better Business Bureau and several other agencies for harassment, accusing me of fraud and defamation of my name.

We needed to leave early morning. The hotel requires a deposit of $100. The hotel returns cash deposits at 9:30. We had to wait some time but ANA at reception pull some stings and made it possible to get the deposit a little earlier. That was nice of her.

The Clarion is always a fine stay for us. However the Timeshare representative who you’re forced to get your parking pass from is a scam. Newport Vaction club is in fact not a timeshare as it’s a 4th party booking site. They have no base location and they are just an extension of hotels.com, Expedia, Travelocity… they always make you put down a $20 deposit in cash and you’re told you’ll get the 20 back in cash when you attend the presentation but it was actually on a gift card. It’s very predatory when you go to such a low budget hotel in your met with one of these representatives. Just do your due diligence and learn how to say no.

Good customer service and clean room. Dislikes: not having enogh towels available. No shower curtain in the bathroom. They gave us access to an occupied room that had a very strong smell of M. It was very scary and unsafe getting into someone else room, we were glad the guests were not in the room.

Unfortunately we had quite a few issues with this hotel, checked into a dirty room, cards quit working all the time and had to walk across the campus each time to fix, no place to buy water or drinks but vending machines and both did not work, people lurking in parking lots, hair in the shower of the “cleaned room”, had to leave socks on. Just not the best experience, but you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t really recommend though.

The location is excellent, personnel very friendly and willing to help. Rooms are renovated, very clean and modern. The breakfast is not your typical continental cold breakfast, it is very complete, eggs, waffles and many other options. The outside/building needs a little TLC, painting specifically more than anything.

The exterior needed some help, but the room was nice. The beds were also comfortable. The free breakfast was the best part! I got a big discount for this stay. You get what you pay for. & I would say that for an overnight stay: just to sleep & breakfast in the morning/ it's an alright hotel. You get what you pay for. Don't go there if you're expecting a 5 star hotel, but the rooms were large and clean. Housekeeping is every other day, but if you need anything, just ask. Breakfast is good enough and there's enough for everyone. WiFi in the room did the job. And yes, the hotel needs some tlc, but you can't beat the price and the location. It's close to all the parks. Lots of dinner options and shops in the neighborhood. Would stay again!

The room had garbage in the bins when we got there, very little toilet paper. A stovetop and microwave but no kitchen materials. TVs were very small and every channel was fuzzy, as if it was just an antenna. Was fine for one night but wouldn’t stay again.

Staff was kind and professional. Rooms were very spacious. Dining area in main lobby needs a little upgrade but other than that it was a great stay for families. Close to a lot of activities. Worth the money.

Our experience was definitely mid. The service desk staff were fine, however the hotel only provided room service if you requested it. The hotel does have a breakfast, however it is not very extensive. Literally the only things to drink were coffee, tea, milk, and SunnyD. The coffee was absolutely horrible and they had no liquid creamers. The room was acceptable. However, if you looked closely you could find areas that were not cleaned thoroughly enough or that needed upgraded. There was some sort of clog in the shower, so by the time you finished showering there you were standing in inches of water. TLDR: The hotel got the job done. But the overall rating on this site lead us to believe we would be a litter more comfortable. Be aware that might not be your experience.

Clarion was pretty good for the price. The room was clean, breakfast was good and the front desk agent was very helpful and friendly. Although, the main lobby bathrooms were pretty dirty and the beds and pillows were hard, we had a good experience. We will stay again.

This was an extremely inexpensive hotel. I admit I was concerned with cleanliness for the price, but was very impressed. The bed was clean and comfortable, hot and cold breakfast items, coffee! Modern amenity touch's update the rooms, cold pool and warm hot tub. Very good overall for the price. Amazing staff!!!

It was a nice room. Only thing is make sure u get there on time for breakfast. Got there a few minutes before breakfast ended and everything was already put away.
