It’s a vacation club they do try to have you agree to sit for a timeshare presentation but we’re not overly pushy when I said no a couple times. This resort is not like some where you pay a resort fee and all amenities are included; you have to pay $9 to rent a tube for the lazy River, and they do not allow you to have your own float, only a noodle is allowed if you don’t rent their floats. All other activities on site cost outside of normal pool swimming. The villa we stayed in was clean and spacious but smelled like it was possibly smoked in at some point even though it was non-smoking. We set our bowls of coffee and odor absorbers and it helped some. They should probably renovate and remove the carpet and get new furniture. The beds were not very comfortable so we bought foam mattress pads at Target. We had to rent this last minute as our planned townhome at a different resort had a major leak uninhabitable, leaving us desperate upon arrival. The good thing about these villas is that you do not have to replace your own paper products and cleaning supplies. It had a full kitchen well stocked with dishes, dining area, living room and a large screened in balcony, washer/dryer, 1 master bedroom with King and full bath, additional room with 2 queens and full hall bathroom. Overall it worked well for us but wish the beds were comfortable and the smell was better.

If going for the pools it was great, except the lazy river had to pay $9 a day for tube. All amenities cost extra so didn't get to do them. Did enjoy the relaxation though.

great property lots to offer, only bad thing that is still important was that it was impossible to find a chair or lounger in any pool area. I was there 3 days, each day by 10am all were taken and I had to find staff to work to get me one lounger for a family of 4.

Resort has lazy river, multiple other pools around the resort, miniature golf and other activities. Resort is close to Disney parks and about half hour away from Universal Studios. It’s very clean and relaxing and good place to stay for adults and families.

Absolutely amazing resort, 2 bedroom in West Village was immaculately clean and spacious, pools were amazing and clean, very friendly staff. The resort is huge, River Island is the most beautiful part of the resort and where the lazy river is located. West village pools are also beautiful

Great place to spend a week. Lots of amenities. Incredibly large but the shuttles come often so it’s not a big deal. I did have a couple problems. Found a roach in my room. Not cool, the staff sent a person to spray the next day but I never got to talk to a manager about. They just kept telling me they’ll call me back. I’m not sure if finding roaches in a room isn’t a big deal, but I was hoping to talk to someone about. Then one of the toilets would not flush. So another person had to come fix that. Still never heard from a manager.

The hallway carpet smells very bad on the 3rd floor. They try cleaning it while we were there, but it didn’t do much. To be a resort that tried to sell you a timeshare—I would never stay there again. I never did the timeshare… I was only there for 3 days to see family. The pool and the lazy river is nice. The hotel stinks.

I have stayed here many times and I have never had this awful treatment. First it took over an hour in the check in line. But I can overlook that. The issue is when we got into our room it seemed like it was dirty. But it was late and my kids ran around so I wasn’t sure if it was just them ruffling the blankets and such. When I got up the next morning I realized it was dirty. There were wet pool towels on the washer and trash in the trash barrels and hair in the shower. Like really dirty. I called the front and they sent a housekeeping person to clean. They admitted it was overlooked and not cleaned. The cleaner left all the wet towels and when I called to have someone come back they just dumped new towels near the parking lot that I assumed were for my unit. I called again and asked for a manager to call me back. No manager ever called me back. Disgusting all around.

The lazy river is really slow. If you are using the floatation device available, you are almost at a standstill. That really took most of the enjoyment out of the lazy river. All the stores on the resort close at 6-7pm, but the pool closes at 10pm. Kind of defeats the purpose of having an all inclusive experience if the stores where you are supposed to purchase items while at the pool is closed. They also roped me into a timeshare presentation. I didn’t realize what it was until they charged me $50 to ensure I showed up. The person they send you to after you check-in is responsible for the timeshare part and you MUST go to them to get your room key activated. He spoke so fast that I didn’t get a chance to even think. I said okay and the next second I was charged the holding fee and that was when I asked if it was a time share. He said yes but then right after he said if I don’t show up I won’t get my $50 back. The presentation was supposed to be 90min but it was more like 2 and a half hours. The sales rep Wasn’t pushy at all but after they sent us to their MARKETING SPECIALIST, and she WAS very pushy when I said I didn’t want their “CHEAP” vacation offer to come back. The room had really long hair all over the floors, showers, on the carpet, and the floor turned my black socks white which is very weird. I always clean when I check-in to a hotel/resort but this time I had to do some spring cleaning. I had to vacuum and go buy cleaning supplies to mop

Had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the bathrooms there was hair and black mold on the grout, the older properties with rugs have a very dirty feel and look to them … dishes kitchen drawers weren’t cleaned. It looked tidy but not clean. Sheets were clean at least.

This was our second time staying at this resort, and things were going so well that I even extended our stay by an extra night. Unfortunately, after moving to a different room, my partner mentioned feeling like she had been bitten—at first, we assumed it was just a mosquito. We didn’t think much of it until she woke up feeling more bites. She toughed it out through the night, but on our way home, she showed me the bites on her legs. I didn’t realize the property was 1500 acres. The pictures made it seem like it was a hotel with a huge pool. As it turns out, we were placed in the villas which was 15 mins drive away from the pool. So it was not convenient for the kids to go swimming.

I, my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandkids stayed in a 2 bd, 2 ba villa, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The decor was modern, it was very clean, and there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The resort itself is quite large with a ton of amenities and is impeccably maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (we were able to check in early and the late checkout fee was waived). The only negative comment I have is that the restaurant in the West Village where we stayed doesn’t open until 9am for breakfast which doesn’t allow for an early start and makes for a tight schedule on the day of checkout at 10am. Overall, this resort is top- notch, and I highly recommend it.

Cleanliness was good. Beds were comfortable. The rooms were not modern luxury but were appealing and functional. Only thing off was one tv in the bedroom did not work. Overall it worked well for our family. The amenities were great with the lazy river and the slides and we went early to ensure a good spot. When planning make sure you know the times all of the activities open. There was a small fee for the tubes and of course the kids wanted me to pay for the funzone activities which would have been fine if it were not so excruciatingly hot and it did not rain. We pretty much did not get to do much of that and it was a money waste so plan accordingly. We did not get time to do any of the water sports activities like seadoos or kayak. Maybe next time. There was a nice Publix just down the road for supplies. I will probably go back there.

BE AWARE OF MISLEADING TACTICS TO UPSELL TIME SHARE!! Although our stay was overall pretty good, the grounds are very well maintained, most of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the only exception being the cleaning crew on check out day where they ringed our doorbell 20 minutes before check out time…and every 5 minutes from then on asking when we were leaving.. But what makes this resort mostly unattractive is truly the time share representatives immediately after check-in…they use agressive marketing strategies. Their tactics are misleading are may lead clients in making financial commitments without their full understanding or consent. This is not our first experience with time share properties and while we appreciate the allure of vacation ownership, we have found their approach taken by one of the representative to be quite stressful and unethical. They will do anything to take your money NOT gift you with a promotion package “as they would state” to save a few dollars during your stay to spend extra money on the resort.

The long wait to check in. And being pressured to do a tour and seminar for time share before I can get my keys to my room after waiting in like for 45 min to and hour because they only had two people checking people in. Also not having luggage carts and no one willing to help any of the paying customers assistance finding the carts unless we were booked in the signature rooma.

First day was great second day we ran into problems with little roaches around the kitchen and door. We were able to catch one and put it inside a zip lock bag to show management and get a refund or something to accommodate our stay and manager took forever to reach back to us and they didn’t do anything. All they say we will send pest control after you leave. I contacted hotels.com since I did my booking through them and they reached out to the hotel and they said nothing could be done they have no refund once the booking is complete. It was nasty knowing they were roaches in that villa it was a 2 bed villa and those roaches were all over the kitchen.

Check in was the worse! It was very slow, a total of about 2 hours. Even though our stay was pre-paid, I had to have the physical card, which I did not have. That caused so much confusion. We had 2 small children who were cranky and excited to do things after a long drive. Before registration was over we were hounded about booking a 90 minute tour of the property. Once we finally made it to our room, it was a drive from the registration building, our keys did not work. They had given us a number to text in case we had any troubles. Well, they never answered the text so we had to drive back to the registration building to get it handled. This took another 1/2 hour. The food at the main pool was at precooked/ frozen and over priced. The room was fabulous! And the price was reasonable. The 5 yr old locked her necklace in the room safe. So I text the number and sprisingly they responded and sent someone to open it.

Great place to stay with children. My kids had a blast at the pools, lazy rivers & arcade. So many fun activities to do for adults too. After booking I requested a renovated unit close to all the fun activities for my 9 & 11 year old since I don’t drive and the property s huge. There’s a shuttle that takes you around the property so everything is super convenient for those who are not driving. Disney world is 15 minutes away. I can’t wait to come back here! I give this place a 10/10

We didn’t need to leave the resort for anything. They had many food options, all decently priced. However, one thing that they could improve would be to get their Coca Cola Freestyle machines working. Many people, including me, bought reusable cups for $25 and had to drive down the road to the next village for a working machine because there were none working in the village they were staying. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Will most likely book again.

They definitely lie to you telling you the 90 minute presentation is NOT for a timeshare, but it is. They tell you it’s property ownership. It’s a time share. And they will not stop pressuring you until you get rude and say “I said no thank you!” And the presentation is actually 3 hours. And if you do not agree to purchase a time share, they make you walk back to where they picked you up at. So just don’t do it. Honestly I should’ve just paid for the food because the card they put the $200 on for staying for the 3 hour long presentation can only be used at the resort. Definitely a total waste of time. The marketplace store is a glorified souvenir shop, they have terrible options and there are no prices marked on anything in the store. Also 20%gratuity is automatically added to your bill at all of the dining options, so you don’t need to leave anything extra if you don’t want to.
