Our requests for first floor was accommodated, close parking to door, friendly staff. Was a little disappointed in the pool area, couple lounge chairs broke and pool not real clean, I skimmed it myself.

During our stay the a\\c blower quit working and the room became unbearable at 7am ,we told front desk about the issue at10am we checked out and cancelled our 2nd night desk attendant could not refund our $$ and we had to go back next day to get our $$ overall customer service was non existent for the $$ they charged for the room. Asked about laundry room and was told the washer has been down 2months for parts?? Room was clean pool area was clean. Just appeared overall management and owner don't care about the customer!!!

Elevator broken. Not easy for seniors to carry luggage up and down stairs. Faucet in shower is backwards for hot water. Floor was dirty. Terrible soap.Carpet was dirty. Breakfast was good as was the water.Lobby and front desk personnel were friendly.

Stay was great, rooms clean,staff is very nice and the pool and hot tub were a great bonus. Breakfast was good, and the staff kept up with refilling the food. Only issue is we came to our room when house keeping was cleaning. Went in and moved our stuff and sat in hallway and patiently waited. After they were done they closed our door and wouldn't let us back in. Which u understand it's a security risk and for our safety. But, letting us know that is policy, Instead of making us wait until they were done and closed the door on us. I was upset and tired and had set my stuff in the room before we went in the hallway. Being on the third floor, I had to use the stairs after a long day, because the elevator is slow. Maybe better communication with house keeping, or from front desk when check in. The house keepers were very polite even when I became upset. Other than that, it was a great stay. I'll be back. Thank you

There was a pubic hair on the toilet seat on arrival. Then we went to the pool later. The pool deck was covered pretty heavily with dead Beatles. I know it’s nature, but they could’ve been washed off. There were so many of them My kid kids said smelled like dead fish. The pool itself had debris on the bottom and didn’t feel clean. There was a small plastic shelf which I presume was for pool towels, but it was empty. We used our room towels. Next morning we woke up and the power was out. Lights didn’t come on. Then the TV didn’t come on. They did return the power on promptly. We returned after our day out. TV cable still wouldn’t come on. Front desk lady said she would call the cable company. Next morning, still no television. This is something my kids like to do when they’re in a hotel room and we’re disappointed,. There was no maid service when we were out for the day. We returned to using the same towels that we used for the pool. My younger son thrown his on the floor so he had to use small hand towels dry off after bathing that evening. Breakfast was good for the price. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately it could’ve been cleaner and we could’ve enjoyed our stay without the loss of power, loss of cable,. Also could use some maintenance. Bathroom shower has a loose cover. Bent curtain rod, and room door was difficult to push open. Also noticed ice machines out. Location was good for us. Check in/check out was easy.

Good value. Room have beennupdate but still show some signs of age. Staff was very friendly and they had cereal which is all I eat for breakfast so I was happy. Yes they have a waffle maker. I would stay here again. Oh, elevator was out which made for a pain to uae the stairs. I suspect theyll have that fixed.

I had 2 very large cockroaches in the shower on one of my days. I got them down the drain and put a wash cloth in the drain to keep them out. YIKES!!!

There was dried blood on the curtains and roaches scattered when lights were on. Wife was staying there three nights and left after first night still charged for all three nights and told to contact Expedia even though the charges were from the hotel. Was also charged an additional night stay because switched the original dates within the parameters of the no penalty phase, but yet was still charged an additional night. So basically charged $445 for 1 night at a comfort inn with roaches

I booked here because of reviews regarding cleanliness. NOT THE CASE! The room had visible dog hair on the chair and ottoman. There was also damage on the floors, box spring, and chair from an animal scratching. There was mildew in the shower and I honestly doubted the “cleanliness” when I saw the dirty and worn carpets. Mid grade price but not worth the cost. I travel a lot but definitely looking elsewhere in the future.

The room smelled very bad and seemed like it was coming from the AC The room was infested with cockroaches that would be found crawling all over different parts of the floor , tables, bathroom and one even on the bed The carpet was beyond filthy And there is nothing more I can say … I have tried comfort inn 3 times in 3 different locations and only one of them was tolerable… one smelled so bad that i could barely stay in the room … I found this one with the cockroaches to be the worst of them all I don’t think I can ever stay at another comfort inn again because it has become obvious to me that these issues are not isolated but a general theme throughout the chain …

Easily the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life and I was only there one night. ROACHES! Just stay away! The lobby and hallways smelled like cigarettes. The room had red and brown stains all over the floor and the bathroom and 2 live roaches immediately on entry. We killed the roaches as they were not big ones thank god and left to drive around town. I tried to ignore the discomfort because I was exhausted and didn’t want to deal with any bs.However once we got back I immediately checked the bathroom and what do you know, another freaking roach! We immediately changed rooms and checked for critters. No critters but once again the room was dingy with carpet stains. As we settled I noticed the neighbors were playing the tv excessively loud. I went to the bathroom and noticed the toilet did not flush properly. I did not want to change rooms again so I just laid in bed but wanted to at least let the front desk aware of the situation. Exhausted I decided to call them from the room phone but nope the phone didn’t work either. I ended up falling asleep despite the loud tv playing next door, which subsequently woke me up at 1am since they started having a party which lasted until 4am and the people referenced some kind of fire arm in their vicinity. Pretty safe I guess. They offered free breakfast in the morning but there’s no way I’m eating at that roach motel. Imagine having to $120 for all this and not being able to at least get a partial refund.

Nice on the outside very dirty on the inside. We had roaches and bugs in our room. We asked to be moved to a different room. This room also had roaches and bugs. Also hair on shower wall and trash around the bed. Stairway and elevator also very dirty. Do not stay here!

The hotel was ok, definitely has some wear and tears. Could not get the tv to change channels. The ac kept the room just cool enough to be tolerable. One outlet didnt work. The bathroom door lock was broken. Staff was friendly, place was pretty clean.

We arrived at 2:17pm after a long trip. We were not allowed to check-in until 3pm on the dot. I have travelled for over 30 years and this is the first time I was told to wait when arriving less than an hour before check-in time. The room was clean and available. They just chose to not let us in. Once they did, the key didn’t work in our door to get into the room. We inserted the card and the light turned green but the door would not open when we pushed down on the handle. Come to find out, instead of pushing the door handle down and opening the door as you universally do in all other hotels we have stayed at, you had to instead push the handle up for the door to open, yet no one told us these non-universal instructions when we checked-in so that we would know to do things differently. We found out because a circulatingchambermaid said “for your room you have to push the door handle up instead of down”. It was specific to our room, not all the rooms. I think something must have broken with the door handle and they make-shift fixed it and the only way it would work was to put it back together upside down, so you have to push the handle up instead of down. They were very unaccomodating and did not provide needed instructions, so we won’t come back.

had someone try to break into room during the night. Phone didnt work. when reported to the front desk, in person, they did nothing... nothing. Door knob kept failing (why they could break in), after reporting it, they did nothing. Reported noise...nothing. Key kept not working... nothing.

We stayed three nights and every encounter we had with hotel staff was always welcoming, positive, and very guest-focused! And that applied to every staff member, from check-in, to room-cleaning, to maintenance (to have the TV cable box rebooted). I don’t recall being treated so well by hotel staff in all of my travels!

We had a little issue with our reservation with the middle man NOT with Comfort Inn. The staff at Comfort Inn really went above and beyond to get it straightened out. Even got us in our room so we could go eat after driving for 13 hours, while they helped resolve the booking issue. They were fantastic! We have an elderly parent and 2 sisters in that town so we will definitely be back and I will definitely stay again.

we stayed at Comfort Inn because it is close to Silver Springs State Park. We had issues checking in because the booking app we used did not send our reservation to Comfort Inn. We spent over 2 hours trying to check in. Comfort Inn staff was able to work out a solution.

Comfort Inn (former Holiday Inn Express) has excellent Ocala, FL location across from regional hospital and within easy walking distance of historic downtown area. However the facility is showing signs of wear & tear with maintenance issues like slow drains, sticking room entry doors, unpainted wall patches, broken hallway airconditioner, etc. Despite the maintenance issues, room was vlean, staff was pleasant and service was very good. Breakfast was "ok" for free, but pretty basic.

The TV has only one working channel. The shelf under the sink doesn’t get cleaned or dusted. It was very dusty and clean towels are put on that shelf on top of the dust. The cheese omelet and sausage patties were hard and not edible.
