Roaches found in my original bedroom along with my bedroom given to me as a replacement after I notified management. Also woke up at 1 AM by someone knocking on the door only to find out that the exit door next to our bedroom was unlocked and unsecured the whole night, Allowing any random person to come in and out without management knowing. When asked if the door will be fixed management said yes, but never fixed it.

It was an awful experience. The pool was drained and unavailable in the 92 degree June Florida day. They were doing a room remodel in the room next to ours, and the breakfast was limited to waffles, cereal, or bagels. Definitely two thumbs down Microtel!! Not coming back.

Staff was friendly, guest dryer not vented correctly and lint filter damaged, fire hazard, pool dirty, poorly maintained, not swimable. Breakfast was good, nice choices, clean and well presented. Smoke free is questionable as signs stating smoking in designated areas with smell of smoke prevalent. Found dirty sock under desk, I don’t wear socks. Shower curtain did not close properly, hot water was hit and miss, finally got HOT shower 2nd night. When asking front desk about fees, no straight answer, third party booking blamed but nightly $14.95 fee waived on 3rd night, plus $30 deposit was never explained nor did it show on receipt finally presented. Expedia email receipt never opened or downloaded. Went down on last morning to get luggage cart and my keycard was disabled, it was 9:30, not even close to checkout time. Most likely won’t use Expedia or microtel again. Property is poorly maintained overall prices cheap and not even worth that.

This place is falling apart and the staff doesn't care. First of all what hotel charges $15 to check in an hour or 30 minutes early? If the room is ready it's ready. Why are you charging me to get out of your lobby when my room is ready? Breakfast was a joke. No eggs or breakfast meat. Just waffles and toast. But the coffee was good. Floor in our room was so bad I was afraid I would fall through it. Ceiling had hanging plaster. Looks like there was a leak that was poorly repaired and they didn't repair the floor at all. Day 2 our keys didn't work and the desk attendant didn't even apologize or really say anything to me. Just reprogrammed and said "here". There was a group in the parking lot working on vehicles and spray painting a truck. Do not stay here!!!

there was no plug or stopper for the bath, so I was unable to take a bath - when I asked at the front desk they said none of their room had tubs with stoppers. Also the key entry for my room was very erractic and I had to ask the manager for help getting it to work. He said that the locks were being replaced soon.

Not worth the price! Floors were absolutely filthy, no hot water, outdoor lights lit up the room so bright we could hardly sleep. No blackout drapes - the curtains let in so much light. This is the worst Microtel Ive ever stayed in - it was like a badly renovated former Super 8.

Very loud highway noise. I would definitely not recommend this place to a light sleeper. I tried to sleep with earplugs in and still have to leave in the middle of the night because the noise from the highway (I-75) was so loud.

When we got into the room and try to use the restroom the toilet overflow. Then call the front she said she couldn’t do anything because they was full and there wasn’t a maintenance man on duty. Then she gave my husband some towels to dry the floor up, she didn’t come up to see what was going on or nothing she didn’t even check on us anymore that day or night we had to stay in that room because we couldn’t go home because to far away from home. The next morning they said they left a note saying to give us our money back.

My check-in was more of an "intake" than a "reception". It was more warning than welcome. They seemed to want to let me know that I'd be charged for stealing the bed linens or damaging the room (I don't think I look like I'd be doing those things). The clerk wasn't quite rude, but certainly was not friendly or hospitable. The property is not quite clean and not quite well maintained. The room was OK (I don't expect too much from Microtel), but the main impression was the lack of any hospitable attitude in this hospitality business. When I came to the charge for taxes that is cared for by the motel, she stated this was an additional fee being charged since I had booked through a third party. (Expedia). As I said the room was OK and comfortable enough, but it was a weird experience otherwise.

Check in procedure was definitely subpar. Front desk staff was very arrogant. Wanted to charge me $15 extra for being 20 minutes early. So I had to sit in my car for 20 minutes before I could check in. I pre-registered online like I was asked to in an email. Name, address, vehicle type, tag number, credit card information and uploaded a copy of my drivers license. All of that was for nothing! They said they had no record of any of it. Then they charge you an extra $14.95 for some kind of resort fee plus a $50 deposit in case you steal some towels. Ice machine in lobby did not work. Told me I had to climb three flights of stairs to get to a working ice machine. Every question I asked and every question I had was meant with arrogance.

When we arrived after booking on Expedia, the owner was in a fight when another customer about the extra over charges on his bill. It got heated. They then went into the office to clear it up. Unknown outcome. Furthermore, as we are checking in. Of course our reservation was nonrefundable so they had us. then the owners wife says to me you have to pay another fee a booking fee to us of $15. I said we don’t wanna pay that fee why should we pay that fee when we booked through Expedia? Their answer was that at all the hotels are now charging these fees to which I said that’s not true. I just stayed at a different hotel booked through Expedia and they did not charge me that fee. And I don’t wanna pay that. And that we are going to dispute the bill. Plus they made use give more money as an incidental charges $50. I can tell you all we won’t be staying at any of this brand motels again.

We loved the location and there was a Crackerbarrel across the street and we love to eat there. We also had to walk out dog and there we noticed a homeless person camped behind the hotel, harmless but strange, and there was quite some construction and or complicated connections getting to and from the Hotel - not their fault but made the experience a bit more frazzling. Good room though, maybe needed another cleaning.

I would have had no problem leaving 5 stars. My room was clean and generally as advertised but in their advertising they mention a breakfast with a picture of scrambled eggs. This is false, waffles are the only thing that are hot. I also think trying to charge $30 for early check in is bad business. Shop around but this place will do if you are staying in the area.

I spent 2 nts. there. The first nt. I was in room 225 AKA = The room from hell=musty smell, mildew on window shade, hair on sheets and pillowcases, noisy AC and fan in the bathroom... The next day, a wonderful employee, ZAHRA, switched my room. Oh----wow--what a difference!! Much nicer room with no issues. Breakfast is limited.

Upon arrival met by lady who was bothered I was there. Checked me in gave me a key. I went to the room and it was flooded by a leaky window. Went back to desk and advised - no apologies for the inconvenience just handed me another key. Went to that room and ac had leaked all over the floor. I just threw their towels on the floor and stayed there. Holes in the floor planking in bathroom. Overall need to scrape the whole place and start over. Pretty good location. Won’t be seeing me again
