Check in was a breeze. The facility was clean. They have a pool and a hot tub. The facility is close to shopping and gas stations. Rooms were clean, the water pressure was just okay and I kept hearing noise in the bathroom wall. Overall a good value for the money.

We stayed for just one night to be closer to where we were going on a charter trip the next morning. We got there early enough to be able to use the pool and hot tub, both of which were well maintained. The room was very clean and I could see no cause for concern. I will say the room was extremely humid. We thought maybe running the AC lower would help but it didn't seem to. The breakfast buffet was very well done and had a variety of options. The man who was there when we checked in and through out the evening was so nice and helpful, I really liked him.

Room was visually nice. They issues I had were: The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbor talk, flush toilet, and watch TV. The breakfast was poor, and the eggs taste like plastic. The shower stuff has a tiny bar of soap and a one time use 1inch shampoo conditioner container. The gym was the size of a closet, clearly just to check the box of a gym that no one really uses.

I had a wonderful stay during my solo trip to PCB. The breakfast was great. Although limited, the fitness room was great and there’s a pool onsite (which I didn’t use). I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The hotel lobby had a welcoming environment. I would stay again!

Stay was great. My second time staying at this hotel. Only down side was the front elevator was broken. My friend had the breakfast, she said it was your basic breakfast of waffles, eggs, sausage and yogurt, which was good. Customer service was good, Anytime I needed something they didn’t hesitate to help. It’s a lot of stores located near the hotel so that is a plus especially if you like to shop 🙂. The beach is about 20 minutes from the hotel.

I'm disabled and my pet friendly room was at the end of the hallway and the door to the outside there didn't always let you back in. Didn't partake of the breakfast amenity or the pool. Just slept there at night and boarded him during the day.

On my second night i started seeing roaches in my room. told the front desk said they would send someone to clean it didnt even switched my room. I left all day came back and it had only gotten worse called the front desk again and their solution was to practically kick me out in the middle of the night and only offered a refund for the last night. I will never book here again.

Didn't eat breakfast. It makes me sick whenever I eat here. Room had an old muddy smell when we entered had to use spray to mask scent. Need was very uncomfortable (First time this ever happened) Toilets are to close to the floor. Not good for a person with back and knee problems. Tub is old and rusted in some areas. The room was clean but we can tell itv was not upgraded like some of the other rooms we've stayed in here. This ecperience was not as good as previous ones. Staff is friendly. Temp in the room was good. Still need vents in the bathroom though

Stayed just 2 nights and killed 4 cockroaches while I was there. I was told by a state resident that it’s a normal thing but I think that La Quinta should do better and pay attention to details like this.

The property has declined since my last stay. The room was not sufficiently clean. Grout and caulking was dirty and dropped in areas it wasn’t supposed to be. The floor in the bathroom kept a strong urine smell that I tried to remedy unsuccessfully. The hallway stinks of smoke and the breakfast was cold. The carpet in the room was stained and was sticky. The cleanest area was the bed. We will not stay here again.

The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and professional. There were several disturbances from fellow guests over the course of 5 nights and the staff were quick to address the issues. The room was spacious and tidy but after days of feeling itchy in bed I discovered fleas on the bed and floor. I notified staff who were able to switch my room but never offered compensation of any kind.

The staff in the hotel were really nice. I've had no issues. Breakfast was also I'm good as well. One minor thing I had to mention was the room smelled a little weird. I don't want to put a name to the smell but I didn't like it. I also didn't like the amount of pillows on the bed but those are very minor things. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The bed options were limited to 1 king or 2 full (double) beds. A queen option would have been better, as even my two young children found it challenging to sleep comfortably in the full-size bed. The pillows were extremely hard, so we went to the nearby Walmart to purchase better ones. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave, which were useful. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, though some areas needed updating. The remote for the TV barely worked, so we gave up on using it. Thankfully, the hotel’s free Wi-Fi was a lifesaver for the kids’ devices. Despite our reservation for 4 people, there were only 3 towels in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. The hotel has a small pool and hot tub, with extra towels available in the lobby. There’s a shop for snacks, guest laundry facilities, and free parking, although parking near the entrance was often full and lacked sidewalks. The staff and housekeeping were excellent. The free breakfast was the highlight, with sausage, eggs, oatmeal, toast, bagels, a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, and tea, all well-maintained. the hotel is located near restaurants, Target, Walmart, and a hospital. The beach is a 20-25 minute drive away, and Florida Caverns State Park is about an hour away. Overall, despite some discomforts and inconveniences, the excellent service, breakfast, and convenient location made our stay enjoyable.

I just thought the beds were to uncomfortable and to soft - would have liked it if the bed mattresses were wearing bed bug mattress protectors - and it seemed on side of the bed is higher than the other side of the bed - would have like 4 pillows on each bed instead of only having two on each bed - breakfast was good and the staff was friendly - just the beds are uncomfortable and to soft

The room i stayed in was 116. The pool is directly outside the window and I had to listen to screaming kids in the pool until it closed. I was leaving very early the next morning to travel and it was impossible to sleep.

Room serviced 1 time the day after our arrival. We had to get our own towels and room supplies, to include all paper products, from the front desk twice during our stay. The same dirt, threads, and carpet debris were on the floor our entire stay. Sheets never changed. We had to empty our own trash throughout our stay. Staff were always smoking marijuana throughout our stay in their break area that is walled off from the parking lot. The single worst stay we have ever had at any hotel. Compliments to the woman who takes care of the breakfast area and food. She did an excellent job and cared about what she was doing. I wish I could say that for the rest of staff. I didn't know I could attach photos, otherwise I would have take a bunch and shared our experience in visual detail with everyone who may read this. Awful, just awful.

We extended another night and that’s when we arrived for the 1 night stay. We live in the area and we were having the house fumigated. My wife had to change rooms right out of the gate! The air conditioner was making a horrible squeaking noise. The next room the bed was well used and definitely needed to be replaced. But that’s not what made us mad. We put up with the semi-clean room, outrageous prices in their vending room, broken down bed of a double bed room! Yes we did. S—t happens we’ve all had our days. But the one major incident that sent us over the top was the unprofessional attitude of the front desk lady!!!! I wasn’t feeling good and had a hard time getting going that final (May 24th) day. My wife called down to see if we could get a late check out, 12:00 noon, so her husband could feel good enough to go to the car. The front desk lady acted as if we weren’t customers and said if we aren’t out by 11:00am she will charge use a $125.00 late checkout fee. Then she persisted to argue with my wife and tell her she has her card on file!!!! WTHeck. We nor my fellow business people will ever stay at this location again. You need to fire that girl or get out of the hotel business. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic. And I’m a platinum member.

The first suite we were given was not checked prior to our arrival. There were wrappers and pieces of food on the floor and the bed looked like it had been sat on. I reported this to the front desk and was given a different room on a different floor. Our room was on the back of the building/opposite of the front desk. The back door had a sign that said door would be locked 24/7 but the first 3 days we stayed there, the door was unlocked and did not need a room key to open. On the 4th night, the door was locked and the card reader did not work, we had to take a long walk all around the building to go through the front door and then walk all the way to the back if the building to get to our room. Also, on the 3rd night , which according to their signs, would be a mandatory cleaning of the room, I requested housekeeping early that morning and fresh sheets/towels. Hoping we would get back to a clean room after a long day of shopping and going to the beach, we were disappointed. Housekeeping came and took all our towels, did not clean or anything, just took all the towels. We had to go request towels and were told they did not have any hand towels or wash cloths, only regular towels. Overall, a bad experience with this location.

MY room was a pleasant surprise.it was confy an clean.. It would be great if all hotels could be like this. Shayla at the front desk during check in was EXCELLENT!!! Very friendly and helpful; so welcoming. The staff we encountered were friendly and upbeat. The breakfast was really good! The entire property was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and our room was very clean! Very convenient to Panama City and a short drive to beaches!Highly recommend this property!

I have stayed at a few La Quinta and this is by far the cleanest I've been to. The breakfast bar was clean and there was someone there cleaning up after each spilled. I am looking forward to my next visit to Panama City.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast buffet was disappointing. There were no eggs, no sausage, and NO FORKS! The staff didn't seem concerned that the buffet was substandard, just shrugged their shoulders and said the supplies hadn't arrived yet. There were a lot of stores nearby, somebody could have run to Walmart and bought a couple dozen forks!
