Courtyard Sarasota Bradenton Airport

The property was nice and the staff was friendly. The room was also nice. The only issue we had was the elevator. On Saturday (our departure), the elevator was out of service from 9:00 am until noon. We ended up carrying our suitcases down the stairs when we checked out. We wondered why schedule during peak checkout times. Otherwise, it was good.

Ceilings were leaking around the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable

The only disappointment was that the hotel does not offer a shuttle to Sarasota airport, even though we booked it for that purpose. At hotel check-in, we asked about it and was told they didn't have one. We told them they were being advertised as having one, to which they said they check all of their postings to make sure it shows they don't. We showed the front desk where we saw it advertised. It didn't get us a shuttle though. Luckily it was only a 15 minute walk.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were all very friendly. the hotel is also pet friendly, big plus for us.

My stay was amazing. First night was a little loud with the guests above me. I told the front desk and they moved me into a new room. I love the secure after a certain time that Lobby door is locked, you have to have a hotel key I will be visiting again.Thank you so much Staff at the Courtyard Marriott

A shuttle needs to be included for quick travels to the Sarasota airport. Thorp.

Small and very nice hotel. The staff was helpful. They a few drinks and snacks. Have a nice little bar/rest operating limited hours. No free breakfast though. A small workout room, pool (no spa tub), and washing machine/dryer. Of the few hotels right there at the airport entrance this is probably the best.

Evening bar and morning coffee was a plus

Good enough to stay for two nights three days. We attended a celebration of life gathering. This location was close enough to the place of the service. The hotel should include in the list of amenities that housekeeping is only every other day . We were surprised that our room was not cleaned during our three day stay.

Clean hotel, service was great! Room was clean and quiet . Decent rate for a holiday weekend. Definitely would stay again.

It was a pretty nice stay, i like the fact that HBO Max was free and there were plenty of clean towels and bedding.

The television did not work most of the time. Clerk said it was because the tv's are connected to wi-fi.

The bed was very hard and rigid. The room was hot when we arrived and took quite a while to cool off after we turned the air in. High price and not even a complimentory breakfast. Even the cheapest places have breakfast.

This is a beautiful, recently renovated property that was perfect except for a few flaws that are both surprising and potentially serious. First the positives. Aesthetically, the new design is beautiful -- large (really large) bed, large smart TV, and a cool curved couch with ottoman, a desk with versatile pull-out table, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. However, there are a few things that Marriott needs to address. Things that effect the customer experience, and more importantly, customer safety. Both the bathroom floor and the shower floor/pan are extremely slippery when a little soapy water gets on them. I slipped onside the shower and on the tile floor, but didn't get hurt/ Also, Marriott has shifted from bar soap and small, individual shampoo and conditioner, to large pump bottles. The problem is the color scheme -- gray with light green print -- makes it nearly impossible to read, especially for those who wear glasses everywhere except in the shower. The labels indicating Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner were not decipherable especially in somewhat dim light. Also, the curved couch looks great but it's not very comfortable to sit on, and that may be an understatement. I can't believe Marriott didn't test the new design before implementing it. Except for these items, it's a beautiful design and the staff was very polite and professional.

Overall, our one night stay was good. The hotel room was spacious and clean. No issues there. The front desk staff was very friendly and the check-in was fast. The only negative was the elevator. Definitely needs upgrading. Also, not too many breakfast options in the cafee downstairs. We ended up going to Dunkin.

The first room had a smell to humidity. So we asked to be moved and it was done with no questions !

The room is very clean. However, the bed is uncomfortable because the fitted sheet was very rough, and felt like pilling and itchy. The a/c was loud. As a result we didn’t have a good sleep. Only pastries were offered for breakfast instead of a choice of warm breakfast .

Tom at the front desk was the best, He was super helpful in giving me ideas and recommendations. He was also very accommodating in arranging and extending my stay. Because of his friendliness I felt like I was staying at someone's home in stead of a hotel. Tom is a great ambassador for the Marriott Brand and it was a pleasure staying at the hotel Tom Henry

This Marriott did an excellent job eso considering i arrived very late on chrustmas day Ynas at the front desk did an excellent job. She was knowedgeable, efficient, empathetic, and fair. A great asset to the company. She

The staff here was very helpful, quick and friendly. They were very clear on everything and made us feel very safe and comfortable. They were fast and officiant and never missed a beat with cleaning, answering the phone and being ready and eager to help at the front desk. Will definitely come back to this hotel again. keep up the good work!

Our stay was delightful! The lady at the coffee/ breakfast counter on Thanksgiving morning was super friendly and helpful! The front desk clerk was very friendly, too, on Thanksgiving morning. My one critique is the lock-out of my room at 10:20 am on check-out day. I was transferring suitcases and bags to my car before 11:00am and upon return to my room I realized my key card didn’t work. My husband was in the bathroom, so I had to wait to get back inside. Please consider delaying the lock-out until 10:55.

On Friday, my brother came to visit and the man at the desk just gave him a key without coming to the room to verify who he was.He opened the door as I was getting dress. I was so embarrassed. That is unacceptable and I will write to other people until I get some answers for being unprofessional and unsafe.

My staff was great and the property was nice. Most enjoyable part of my visit was the staff, they were gracious, helpful and remembered my name on sight.

Easy access from airport right across the street. Clean, comfortable bed and serves its purpose of an overnight stay across from the airport, no complaints

Only thing is that we were told that breakfast was complimentary at check in and we had to pay $30… maybe we understood wrong but that was the reason we mainly booked this hotel, place was nice, bed maybe a little uncomfortable but did the job, would come back on a great deal :)

I agree with other reviews regarding some sort of breakfast should be included. Would be a plus to stay at a Courtyard hotel in the future since it's usually offered by other hotels.

Generally this is a good hotel. Comfortable pillows and mattresses. I resent to breakfast bar. It is simply a profit center. It highlights Starbucks coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, etc. but boosts prices beyond a typical Starbucks.
